*Klyn POV*
AJ, Howie and I look at each other after we hear a scream and then take off. Howie practically rips the door off the hinges and then bolts down the hall. We are met by a very excited Kevin
"Who screamed?" he asks breathless
"We don't know, we were just coming to find out" Aj tells him.
We are standing there in the hall when a running, very upset Autumn comes bursting out of a door.
"Autumn, what's wrong?" AJ asks her.
"They they tricked me. They aren't batman and robin, it was Nick and Brian. How could they?" She asks.
Aj is trying to calm her down when Brian and Nick come through the same door. They look at us and then Autumn
"Look Autumn, uh we're sorry" Nick says to her
"Stay away from me you imposters." she looks at me "I bet you were lying about Klyn, she isn't poison Ivy, is she?" She asks them accusingly.
I smile and tilt my head
"Well boys, what do you have to say?"
I ask them in a very smart ass tone. They glare at me
"No Batgirl, she isn't Poison Ivy." Nick tells her hesitantly.
I smile and then look over at Kevin
"See I don't even have to get back at him, he screws himself up I get revenge withough lifting a finger"
Kevin shoots daggers at me and I just move over to Autumn.
"It's ok Batgirl, lets go get some water and calm you down. The concerts going to start soon and then you can listen to the music and relax" I tell her.
She moves out of Ajs arms and glances over to Brian and Nick and then at me
"Ok Klyn, that would be nice. I think I need to calm down before the concert so I can be sure to be alert." She tells me
"Alert?"
"Yes, I have to be alert in case the real Poison Ivy shows up"
"Ohhh"
*Autumn/Batgirl POV*
Klyn and I go to the back. I get out my little transmittor and as I try to call Batman, I get a far away look in my eyes. Klyn looks at me.
"Um, Batgirl you okay?"
"Huh? Yeah I'm okay. I just had a flash of something."
Klyn sits up as I get my water.
"I saw Alexander and I eating."
"Oh..kay."
"I wasn't in my costume. We were eating on a bus or something. We were throwing fries. maybe I've had some kind of drug. I need to call Batman."
Klyn has hope in her eyes and as I try calling Batman, AJ and Howie come in, Klyn shoots up and runs over to them.
"Guys, I think Autumn is slowly coming back."
"What? What she remember?" Howie asks.
"She remembered a time her and Aj had a fry war. But it wasn't long lived. But maybe the next memory will be."
"I really hope so,"
AJ says and Howie nods. Aj looks over and moves his head back and makes a weird face.
"Where'd she get that? What is it?"
"Um, it's her transmittor. She's trying to reach Batman."
Howie looks in awe.
"She made that? What she make it from?"
Klyn looks at AJ and takes a deep breath.
"What?"
AJ asks as she looks at him.
*Klyn POV*
'Oh I don't wanna tell AJ this' I am thinking "Well uh she madeitfromyourphone"
I say real quickly and walk away. Aj looks over at Howie and then follows me
"Again please and in English this time"
He tells me and I hear howie laugh.
"Ok, she made it from your cell phone" I tell him.
He stands there staring at me
"My what?" He asks
"Uh your cell phone" I tell him again.
"WHAT!!" He yells this time.
I cringe and then look over at Autumn. Her head shoots up the minute she hears Aj yelling and jumps up and runs over to where we are
"What's wrong? Whats going on?" She asks.
"UH nothing, nothing at all Batgirl. Hey umm why don't you and I go and look through some of Ajs hats on the bus, that'll keep your mind off what them idiots did" I ask her.
She looks from me to Aj and then back again
"Ok Klyn, I guess I can. I can't get ahold of Batman on this thing anyway. I guess I"ll have to take it apart again." she says and head towards the door.
At the sound of 'taking it apart again' Ajs eyes glass over and I can see he is going to start yelling
"Baby now remember she isn't in her right mind" I tell him quickly.
He looks at me
"But my phone" He says.
"We can get you another one" I tell him. He just looks at me and I raise my eyebrows "OK?" I ask.
"Yea I guess like I have a choice" He says defeated.
As I head toward the door Howie stops me
"Why are you going to the bus to look at hats?" He asks me.
I smile
"Well cause her and aj love hats. I thought maybe getting her to look at some might stir a memory"
I tell him and he smiles
"Good thought"
"Thanks"
I walk into the hall way and we make our way outside. There are already fans around so I know I have to make this quick.
"The bus is over here Aut..Batgirl" I tell her.
We get on the bus and I can see something flash across her face
"What?" I ask her.
"Huh, oh nothing." She tells me.
I watch her walk farther in the bus when she all of a sudden stops at the table
"What batgirl?" I ask her again.
"That flash I had." She says to me
"Yea?" I ask.
"I think this is the bus that was in it" She tells me.
"Really?"
"Yea, now why would that be?"
She asks looking at me. I smile
"I don't know but we can try to figure it out later, now lets look at hats"
I say and she laughs
"Sounds fun"
We head to where Aj keeps some of his hats and I hope something jogs a memory
*Autumn/Bat girl POV*
I stand looking at the hats with Klyn. Why someone would have so many hats is beyond me. Hell, Batman doesn't even have this many capes! Klyn looks at me and I look back
"What?"
She sighs and I begin to hear people, some screaming. Before I can run out, Klyn grabs my arm.
"Bat girl, it's okay. Besides, we have got to get back inside. The guys need us."
"They do? Well we better go!"
Right as we are about to go out the door, my foot get tangled in something. I look down.
"What's this?"
Klyn looks down.
"Oh that is only Nick's N64. He left it on the bus."
I bend down and look at the controller.
"You know, I could really use this."
I get it and have another flash. I'm looking far off and I hear Klyn.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing. I just had another one of those flashes. This time it was me and Nickolas playing this thing. Klyn, do I even know how to play this thing?"
I wait for her to reply and disconnect the controller and think I can use it on my transmitter and some other things. I am still waiting for Klyn to answer me.
*Klyn POV*
"Yes Bat girl, actually you do know how to play that"
I tell her when she turns to me again.
"I do?" She asks me.
I smile at her
"Yes you and Nick really get into it at times. Him yelling at you about cheating and you doing the same. It's quite entertaining"
I tell her laughing at the memories. She looks at me a little confused but then she shakes her head and starts back toward the door. We walk out and there are alot more fans now then there were a few minutes ago.
"Come on Bat girl, we have to hurry up inside before the fans see us"
I tell her and try to get her to go faster.
"Why is it bad if the fans see us?" she asks me.
I turn to answer her when a fan notices us
"Oh my gosh it's Klyn and Autumn, Aj and Howie's girlfriends"
And then the screaming starts.
'oh crap'
I think to myself as I grab her arm and drag her with me to the door. I try to pull it open and find it's locked.
"crap" I say out loud.
Autumn turns and looks at me
"What's wrong?"
She asks as she looks back and sees the police are having a hard time holding the fans back.
"The doors locked" I tell her.
She might not be able to remember being Howie's girlfriend and how the fans react to seeing us but from the look on her face she isn't enjoying the screaming girls very much.
"Ok Autu..Batgirl we have to figure out a way to get the someone to hear us and let us in" I tell her and try to think of something.
I start pounding on the door even though I know it's useless but it seems the crowd is getting louder and larger and pushing against the police holding them back. I turn around to ask Autumn for help but instead I am met with a blank expression
"Oh great not a good time to have a flashback moment Autumn"
I think to myself and go back to banging on the door
*Autumn/Bat Girl POV*
I look up and for some reason smile. I raise my hands up and there is an sudden hush.
"What are you doing? You are going to get us attacked by the fans."
For some reason, I seemed to get this idea.
"OH MY GOSH! Brian and Tyke are on the other side of the building!"
Well, the fans began to scream and ran off. That left me and Klyn able to beat on the door but it wasn't getting us anyplace. Klyn just looked at me. I got out my transmitter and called a number. Someone answered on the other end, who I didn't know. "Yes me and K are outside the building and need in. yes, thank you."
Well, in no time there was someone letting us in.
"How did you get that idea about Brian?"
Klyn asked as we made our way to the back.
"Well, I just had another flash about a time me and I guess Alexander were someplace and he yelled that and they ran. So I just thought to.."
"Are you girls okay?" Howie asked.
"Um, yeah. She saved us."
"Of course I did. I'm Batgirl. Now, I must got take this apart and fix my belt."
I walked off and Klyn looked at Howie.
"Hey, who exactly did Autumn talk to?"
Howie smiled.
"Me. Listen, AJe is waiting for you."
"Okay. Oh..she had another 2 memory flashes."
"Good. Maybe this will all end after tonight."
"yeah let's hope."
*Klyn POV*
I walk away from Howie and start looking for Aj. I finally find him laying on the couch in the dressing room. I walk over and sit on the couch
"What's wrong babe?" I ask him.
He uncovers his eyes
"I have a headache, K. Make it go away" He whines at me.
I laugh and get up and get some Tylenol and a glass of water. I give him the stuff and then walk off and get a wash cloth out of his bag and wet it to lay on his forehead.
"K, my head hurts"
He whines again and I roll my eyes.
"Yes Aj I know and I'm coming. I can't believe how much of a baby you are when you aren't feeling well"
I tease him and then sit down and put his head in my lap and put the cloth on his head.
"I'm not a baby, I just hate feeling bad" He tells me.
"Yes I know baby. Oh Autumn had two more memories come back to her while we were outside" I tell him smiling.
"Really?"
He asks sounding excited but not opening his eyes.
"Yes, really. Maybe this will be over soon" I tell him.
"Maybe"
He says in a quiet voice and I know he's falling asleep. I sit on the couch watching him sleep for a few minutes when the door flies open. I look over and see Nick standing there
"What is it Nick?" I ask him.
"Oh hey Klyn, have you seen Autumn?" He asks me.
"Yea she went to take something apart or something like that" I tell him.
"Oh ok, thanks" He says getting excited.
I laugh as he rushes back out the door
"Klyn says she is off taking something apart. I bet she's in the bat cave again"
I hear him tell someone.
"There is no bat cave you doof, it's a closet or something" I hear Brians voice.
"I don't care lets go see what she's doing" Nick says to him
"Aww man do we have to?" Brian whines.
'Alot of whining going on around here'
I think to myself and look down at a sleeping Aj.
"Yes we have to. Now come on"
I hear Nick say and then I hear them making their way down the hall.
'Oh poor Autumn she is going to have to put up with Nick soon' I think as I put my head back on the couch. I jerk my head up "oh crap she is taking apart a nintendo control, Nicks going to flip out" I say out loud. I try to get up but can't because of Aj. "Well I guess her and Brian can handle Nick after he sees what she's doing"
*Autumn/Bat Girl POV*
I sit in the "bat cave", just finishing taking apart the controller when the door opens.
"Bat girl, I need to ask you if...."
Nick stops mid sentence and his jaw drops. I hear Brian say
'uh-oh."
"What..is..my..controller.....doing be taken apart?!"
I jump up.
"What are you two doing down here? You can't be in the Bat cave! What would the real Bat man and Robin think. Get out!"
Brian gets between me and Nick.
"What did you do to my damn controller! YOU PUT IT BACK TOGETHER RIGHT NOW!"
Brian looks at Nick.
"Nick, calm down. We can get a new one."
"But Briiii, that was my lucky one. She tore up my controlllerrrr."
I put the thing down and look at them
"Guys, I am serious. You have 5 seconds to leave or else."
Brian sighs.
"Or else?"
I looked at my watch.
"Hey, I ain't leavin without..."
Before he could finish I had kicked him in the shin and yelled BOOM! Brian, in terror, ran out while I began hitting Nick with cardboard boxes and hitting him, yelling whatever I could. As Nick was backed in to the corner, I had another flash. This time it was Kevin yelling at me to leave Nick alone. As I was stopped, Nick took advantage of this and put me in a headlock.
Meanwhile, Klyn was almost asleep when Brian ran in.
*Klyn POV*
I jump as I hear someone fly through the door. I look over and see Brian looking frantic
"Bri, what is wrong?" I ask him.
"Oh Klyn she's she's..beating up Nick!" he says loudly.
"What? who's beating up Nick?"
I ask even though I have a very good idea who is beating him up.
"Autumn is Klyn, you have to stop her" He cries to me.
I sigh and look down at a sleeping Aj
'sorry baby'
I think as I shake him awake
"wh wha..what?" He whines.
"Sorry huny but umm your sister is beating up Nick and I think we better get there in time to save him" I tell him.
Well needless to say that wakes him completely awake.
"What? Autumn is beating up Nick? What?" He asks confused.
"Well see she was taking his controller apart and he refused to leave without it even though she told us to go. Well we didn't have well uhh she like kicked him in the knee or something" Brian tells us.
I am trying to hold my laughter in but Brian sees it
"It's not funny Klyn"
"Ok, sorry Brian."
I tell him still trying to hold it in. Aj and I get off the couch and hurry down to where Autumn and Nick are and we can hear the commotion going on.
"Ok you go get her Klyn" Aj says to me
"Me? why me she's your sister." I tell him.
"Yea but she's your best friend." He says to me.
"Oh yea McLean that over rules brother anytime"
I say sarcastically but open the door. What I see in front of me is just too funny for words. Nick has Autumn in a headlock screaming at her to put his controller back together and if she does he'll let her go. Autumn is screaming at him to let her go or Bat man and Robin is going to come and hurt him. I hold back the laughter and walk in. Nick looks up at me
"Klyn tell her to put my controller back together" He demands.
"Now Nick let Autumn go please." I ask him
"No not until she puts it back together" He tells me again.
"I am not putting the thing back together. It is part of my utility belt" Autumn says to us.
"Utility belt my foot. Your not Bat girl your Autumn McLean, Ajs sister. Stop being a doofis and just claim to that fact" Nick yells at her.
Autumn stops struggling and Nick lets her go. She stands there and looks from him to me and then kicks him in the leg. Nick hollers in pain and tries to grab her again but she is too fast and she runs out the door.
"Aj, Brian grab Autumn. Idiot here just told her she wasn't Bat girl" I yell after her.
"Hey I'm not an idiot. she isn't Bat girl she is Autumn and she has to remember that" Nick says to me.
I sigh and look at him
"Yes Nick she has to remember that but at her own pace, doofboy"
I say to him and walk out of the room leaving him behind
*Autumn/Bat Girl POV*
I am about out of the door when AJ and Brian catch me. I put up a struggle.
"Bat..Sis...damn will you just calm down. We aren't going to hurt you," AJ is screaming.
I elbow Brian in the face and he lets go and I am able to slip free before AJ grabs me again.
"You're gonna be sorry when Bat man finds out."
"Bri, you okay?"
"Yeah, she got me in the nose."
"What's your problem?" I thought I could trust you all but I can't. That idiot over there attacks me," I say as Nick comes out.
Klyn looks over and she can tell AJ needs help. She just stands there and watches me and AJ.
'Oh yeah, she's coming back to normal."
"Sweetie, can I please get some help over here?" AJ ask Klyn.
She sighs.
"I can try."
But it does no good. AJ turns to Nick.
"Go get Howie and Kevin."
"No way. Not until she fixes my controller."
"Nick, do it or else I'll turn her loose."
That was enough for Nick.
"Brian, go find a room we can lock her in until Nick gets back with Kev and D."
"HA! No room can hold me! I'm.."
"Bat girl," Brian says.
Klyn turns to AJ.
"You aren't seriously locking her in a room are you?"
"Well unless you want to hold on to her." As Klyn thinks, I still struggle. "Thought so. Bri, have you found that room yet?"
*Klyn POV*
'I can't believe I am going to lock my best friend in a room'
I think as we make our way to the room Brian found. AJ walks in and lets go of Autumn and she tries to hurry out
"Oh no you don't" Aj says to her "you have to stay here until we can calm you down and the only one who can usually do that is Howie" He says and walks out the door.
I stand there and I can hear her hitting the wall and kicking chairs and anything else that is in her way
'oh yea Autumn is coming back' I think as I hear the door thud as she connects with it. "Aj I can't stand here and let her freak out like that. I'm going into the room to keep her company" I tell him.
"But baby she doesn't think she can trust us anymore"
"No she doesn't think she can trust you guys anymore, she said nothing about me"
I tell him as I open the door and walk in. I see Autumn standing on the couch and it looks like she is trying to go through the ceiling.
"Won't work Autumn" I tell her.
She jumps at my voice and turns around
"How do you know and my name isn't Autumn it's Bat girl." she says to me.
"Well how I know is once the boys locked you and me in a room and we tried the same thing and found it wouldn't work" I tell her.
"I wondered why I had the idea"
She mumbled as she got off the couch.
"Are you having more flashes?" I ask her.
She looks at me like she doesn't want to tell me
"Come on girl you know you can trust me. Even though you can't remember it we've been best friends and partners in crime for a long time." I tell her.
She looks up at me with a shocked expression on her face.
"Partners in crime? I would never do anything against the law"
She tells me and I laugh.
"Not that kind of crime. Crime against the boys. Giving them a hard time, playing pranks on them. Specially Nicky" I say to her and she laughs. "Do you remember any of them?" I ask her hopefully.
"No"
She says shaking her head.
"Oh, well that's ok, they will come back" I tell her.
"But I'm Bat girl not your friend Autumn, Klyn" she tells me.
I sigh and get up and walk around the room.
"Look you might think you are Bat girl, but your not. You are who Nick said you are. You are Aj's sister" I tell her
*Autumn/Bat Girl POV*
I stand there looking at Klyn.
"He's not my brother. I have no brother, no sister. All I have are Bat man and Robin. Why do you keep telling me I'm this Autumn girl?"
Klyn knew me and knew I was getting mad.
"Autumn..."
"For the last time I am NOT Autumn. I am Bat girl. I fight crime and help the police. I support the police."
"Since when!"
I was sick of this. Someone came to the door. It was Kevin.
"Hey are you two okay?"
Before there was time to answer, I sprinted past them and out.
"Guys grab her," Kevin yelled.
Nick was sitting on a table, trying to put his N 64 controller together as I ran by. I managed to get past AJ and Brian and thought I had escaped when I ran smack into Howie. The guys ran around the corner. Nick began to whine.
"I can't fix it!"
He then slammed what was left on the ground.
"Autumn Jade you are so in trouble," AJ growled.
"FOR THE LAST TIME I AM NOT AUTUMN! Stop calling me that name."
AJ looked at Howie.
"Look, the show is gonna start in about 25 minutes. Go talk to her, please."
"Okay, I'll try."
I struggled as Howie directed me back to the room.
"Alright young lady you and I need to talk,"
Howie said as the door shut. Everyone found a spot and sat and waited to see if Howie could calm me down.
*Klyn POV*
"Guys I can't sit here and wait to see if he can calm Autumn down, we have to do something to get her back to being..well Autumn"
I say to the guys standing up. Aj sighs and grabs my hand and makes me sit with him.
"Baby, I know this is hard but we can't force her to remember, she has to do it on her own." He tells me.
"I know but it's frustrating"
I say smacking the floor with my hand.
"I know, trust me I know"
He says and puts his head on my shoulder. I lay my head on top of his and sigh again
"Oh would you two stop it, she didn't bust your controller trying to make....whatever it was she was trying to make"
Nick says to us while looking at the remains of his Nintendo controller. AJ's head pops up, hitting mine
"Ouch AJ!" I moan.
He looks at me
"Sorry babe. No your right Nick she didn't. But my sister thinks she's some cartoon character running around thinking she's fighting crime calling for some freaks in capes. Oh and don't forget she can't remember who I am, her own brother!! No you are right Nick, no one has it harder then you and your flippen stupid controller"
AJ yells and walks down the hallway. I watch him walk off and then look over at Nick
"Nice going Carter, what are you going to do for an encore call AJ's mom and tell her she never gave birth to him?"
I ask him and then get up and follow AJ
*Autumn/Bat Girl POV*
Outside, Nick looks over at Kevin. Kevin looks at Nick.
"Nick, he's right. That's his sister man. If it was the other way around, you'd react the same way."
Brian could only nod. Nick picked his controller back up and looked at it.
Meanwhile, inside the room I was sitting on the couch and listening to Howie go on about me being AJ's sister and his girlfriend. I was Leighanne and Nicks worse nightmare. I just couldn't believe any of that.
"I keep telling you, I'm an only child. I would never be mean to anyone other than joker, Cat woman, Penguin..."
I stopped cause I was having memory flashes again. This one was about Howie and it was when he took me to Jamacia. Almost everything about the trip was coming back to me. I shook it off. Howie looked at me.
"You okay?"
"Yes. I think that Bane slipped something in my drink or something because I keep having these flashes about things that could never happen."
"Yes they could. You've seen alot and done alot of things with us."
Howie took my hand and I looked into his eyes.
"Howard, if I could I would be with you. You are a great looking guy but I can't. It's against the super heroes code. I'm sorry."
"But Autumn.."
That was it.
"I'm not putting up with this any more. I tried watching over you guys and I get this. I'm leaving."
"Wait.."
Right before I opened the door and walked out, Nick had given up on his controller and threw it towards the door. Sadly, I was opening the door as it hit me in the head and I dropped.
"Oh shit," Nick screamed.
"NICK! Why did you do that man?" Brian yelled.
"I DIDN'T MEAN IT!"
Howie was gently slapping my face.
"Nick go get AJ."
"No way! he'll kill me."
"Nick,"
Kevin yelled....and he went in search of AJ and Klyn.
*Klyn POV*
I'm trying to comfort a very pissed off AJ, which is very difficult. He keeps pacing and then stops, I walk over to him and he starts again.
"AJ!! stop for a minute please!" I plead with him.
He stops in mid step and looks at me
"What?" He asks.
"I'm trying to talk to you and you are making it very hard when you won't even let me touch you" I tell him.
He sighs
"I'm sorry baby, I guess I just have so much on my mind I didn't even realize"
He tells me and walks over to me and I gather him in my arms and hold him. We have been standing for a few minutes when we hear our names being called
"You hear that?" AJ asks me.
"Uhh, I think so. Sounds like someone yelling our names?" I ask him.
He shakes his head yes and then takes my hand
"Lets go see what's up" He says.
We walk towards the voice calling us
"It sounds like Nick"
I tell him and he shakes his head. We round a corner and see Nick at the end of the hall
"NICK" AJ yells.
Nick turns around and runs towards us
"Oh man I'm glad I found you guys."
"What's wrong?" AJ asks.
"Well umm its Autumn" He mumbles.
"What happend to her?"
Aj asks and starts walking back to where Autumn was.
"Well I uhhh...accidentlyhitherintheheadagain" Nick tells us.
AJ stops and looks at him
"Come again?" He tells him.
Nick looks down and kicks at something on the floor only he can see
"Well I um accidently hit her on the head again" He tells him backing up.
Aj looks at him and I can see his normally soft brown eyes go to very pissed off angry brown eyes
"AJ, I didn't mean too. It was an accident. I threw the controller at the door and she just happened to open it at the same time" He says quickly.
"I haven't got time for this right now, but don't turn your back when this is over Nick!"
AJ tells him and then runs to Autumn. I look over at Nick and he looks at me
"Really K, I wouldn't hurt her on purpose" He whines.
I smile and walk over and give him a hug
"I know Nicky, lets go see what's going on"
I tell him and we head back to where everyone is
*Autumn/Bat Girl POV*
I slowly begin to open my eyes and make out a figure in front of me.
"Autumn...Autumn come on wake up."
My eyes open and I focus on Kevin. Aj suddenly comes running up.
"She okay?"
Brian looks at AJ.
"Yeah. Just opened her eyes."
"Good. So help me I'm going to kick Nick's ass."
"He didn't mean it AJe,"
Howie says while still holding my head.
"Ohhhhhhh my head. What happened?"
Klyn and Nick finally catch up.
"It's going to be okay. Well get Ba tman to get here and give you a look over," AJ says.
Nick looks at Brian.
"Dude! We get to find the Bat Cave for real this time. Oh and I'll let you be Bat man this time."
"Nick, no way. I'm not getting her fury."
I sit listening and confused.
"What in the blue hell are you guys talking about? And what is this on my head? Howie, what's going on?"
*Klyn POV*
We stare at her shocked. I smile
"Autumn?" I say to her.
She turns and looks at me
"What K?"
She asks and I laugh and grab her and give her a hug
"YAY your back" I say to her excited.
AJ laughs and pulls her out of my grasp and gives her a big ol bear hug
"OH man it's good to have you back little sis" He tells her
"Yea it's good to be back..." Autumn says and then pulls away "Wait back?" She asks.
"Well uhh yea. Umm sweetie we need to talk" Howie says to her.
She looks at him
"Ok. I'm not sure I like the sound of this" She tells him.
"Oh it's ok, just come here"
He says patting a chair next to him. She walks over and sits down while the rest of us gather around. Nick standing farther away then the rest of us.
"Well where to begin"
"The beginning works usually"
Autumn and I say together and we laugh.
"Geesh it starts again"
Aj says and everyone laughs. I grin at Autumn and she looks confused.
"Sorry, go ahead Howie"
I tell him when he looks at me frustrated.
"Thank you. Well you and Nick were playing video games and well Nick and I somehow started fighting over the controller and well it hit you in the head. You like lost consciousness and when you came through you uhh thought uhhh"
"Thought what Howie?" She asks him
"Well you thought you were Bat girl"
He tells her and she stares at him. She looks around at all of us and I know she is trying to figure out if he is lying to her but when she sees we are all serious she looks at him again
"You are kidding, right?"
"No babe, I'm not" He tells her.
She looks over at Nick
"So you HIT me with a controller?" She asks him.
He gets up from leaning on the wall
"Uh no Autumn, Howie and I were fighting over it and well umm it hit you"
He stammers out while she walks closer to him.
"It could only happen when you are involved Nick!" she tells him.
"Bbbbut..." He says.
"Now Autumn don't get all pissed" Howie tells her.
She stops and turns around and looks at him
"Don't get pissed? I've been running around acting like an idiot because of him and you don't want me to get mad?" she yells at him
*Autumn POV*
AJ looks at Brian and smiles.
"Sis, trust me you weren't the only one acting like an idiot. Ain't that right Robin?"
"AJ, don't ever mention that again."
I stand, just totally confused. I'm not really wanting to believe them until I happen to see what I am wearing.
"Um, can I get some REAL clothes here?"
Kevin smiles.
"Yeah, we'll have someone go out and get you some clothes."
I look back at Nick.
"Nick so help me I will make sure that that controller never gets used again."
I hear Howie laughing.
"What?" I ask still annoyed.
"You already done that."
Howie points at the busted controller on the ground.
"I done THAT?" Everyone nods. "Um, okay. Well, I'll do something to get him back. How exactly did I get knocked back from the Nick trip?"
I hear Klyn laugh.
"He threw the controller and accidentally hit you."
"NICK! I'm going to seriously hurt you!"
Howie runs over and restrains me.
"Man, I didn't do it on purpose. And Now I'll never know where the Bat cave is." Nick walks off pouting.
I turn and look at AJ.
"What was that about? Bat cave?"
*Klyn POV*
We all laugh.
"Well you kept saying you had to get to the bat cave and Nick wanted to know where it was. You took K and he got really upset" AJ tells her.
She looks over at me and I smile at her
"I took you to the bat cave?" She asks me.
I laugh
"Well actually it was like a janitor closet or something. That's where you had AJs cell and you took it apart" I tell her.
"His cell phone?"
She asks me looking at Aj
"Yea MY cell phone, which I am still getting over" He tells her.
I laugh at him and he looks up at me pouting. I walk over and put my arm around him
"We will get you another one Aj" I tell him
"Yea but I liked that one" He whines.
I look over at Autumn and we smile
"UH OH we got another Nick happening here"
We both say and then bust up laughing. All the boys look at us
"I think I might of liked it when they COULDN'T do the waves thing"
Kevin says out loud and Autumn and I laugh. Nick comes walking back to us
"Guys we only got about 10 minutes before the show, we have to get dressed" He tells them.
"OH yea man, I almost forgot about that" AJ says and everyone stares at him in disbelief "What?" he asks
"Wow AJ McLean almost forgets he has a show to do. Add that strange detail to an already strange day" Brian says and starts laughing.
"OH yea haha there b-rok"
Aj says to him and then runs up and smacks him in the head.
"Ouch damn Aj that hurt"
Brian yells at a running and laughing Aj. The boys are ahead of us and I look over at Autumn and smile
"It sure is nice to have my partner in crime back"
I tell her and she smiles
*Autumn POV*
I look back at Klyn.
"Yep and now that we are back, let's get Nick back for knocking me silly."
Klyn laughs.
"Oh yeah...can do that."
"Yep. There's no way we can top that."
Klyn stops me.
"Oh I forgot to mention that Leighanne is here."
I see a hint of mischief in the tone of how she said that.
"Really. Hmmm.... maybe we can work her into the mix."
Klyn laughs and the guys just moan.
"Yes..yes we can."
I smile as we head up to the stage area. I sit and smile. Everything is back to normal...sub-normal anyway.
