*Tre POV*
"I'm glad she had a good time"
I say to AJ when we get back to our room.
"Yep so am I. I better call Fred about tonight"
AJ says and picks up the phone.
"OK, I'll go sit on the balcony"
I go out and it is pretty warm so I sit down and put my head back and close my eyes. I hear the door open to the balcony and turn towards it and look at AJ
"The party starts at 9 tonight."
I smile at him
"Cool, it should be fun. Hopefully I won't be in lots of pain"
I tell him and he laughs at me
"You won't be baby, I promise"
"Yea ok, if you say so"
I tell him and close my eyes again.
"So you think Autumn will be upset when you tell her we have to go back on Friday?" He asks me.
I sit up and look at him, he always worries about other people
"No, I don't think she'll be upset. Disappointed maybe, but only because she has to leave LA early. She won't be mad or anything" I assure him.
He looks at me and smiles
"Ok, you know her better then I do"
"Yes I sure do" I tell him with a smile.
We just sit back and enjoy the sun for a little while.
"I am going to go in and watch some tv"
AJ says to me opening the door.
"Ok, sweetie I'll come in with you"
I say to him getting up.
We lay down on the bed and flip channels until we find something interesting to watch. We get so engrossed in watching the show that we almost forget to watch the time.
"OH crap Tre, it's after 1, we gotta get Autumn and take off"
AJ says getting up and turning the tv off.
"Alright babe, right behind you"
I tell him and we walk out the door and head to Autumns room
*Autumn POV*
After my visitors leave, I first eat and watch tv. Nothing is on, so I grab my book and read on it. Then, I go soak in the tub and get relaxed. As soon as I get out of the tub I just read.
As I am finishing the last sentence of the book, I hear a knock and then look at my watch. It is after 1. Still in my bathrobe, I see AJ and Tre.
"Well, are you ready to go?" AJ inquires.
"Crap, I'm not. Can you give me about 10 minutes to get ready? You can come on in."
Tre and AJ come in and sit and wait as I start to look for some clothes. Before I go into the bathroom, I ask if they found out what time the party started. I was told about 9. I ran in the bathroom and got ready, throwing on a belly shirt and shorts and pulled my hair back. I came out and said I was ready to roll.
*Tre POV*
We head down to the lobby and make sure there are no more fans before we make our way out to the parking lot. I didn't know that AJ had arranged a rental car until we get to it.
"A rental, Alex?" I ask him.
"Yea a rental. After the little incident between you and Marcus I decided it would probably be best if we did this without him"
He tells me while getting into the drivers side.
I smile my thank you to him and open the door for Autumn to get into the back seat. I love convertables with the top down and the wind blowing in my hair, and AJ knows that so he got one and it was candy apple red. We get in and take off.
I am getting a little nervous since this is my first tattoo. I know AJ isn't nervous considering he already has between 15-20 tats on him already. Autumn has a couple herself so I figure she isnt nervouse either. Aj sees that I am getting more nervous the closer to the time to get the tat and he reaches over and takes my hand and gives it a squeeze. I look up at him and he gives me his gorgeous smile
"It'll be fine baby, don't worry" he tells me
"Ok Alex, I will try not to but you promise me one thing, ok?"
"What's that?"
"You better not leave my side or let go of my hand no matter what!"
I tell him and him and Autumn laugh
"I promise my darling, I won't leave your side, ever"
He says to me and I get a feeling that there was a deeper meaning to that then he was letting on but didn't say anything. We are all quiet for the rest of the ride and all of a sudden Aj announces
"Here we are"
I get nervous all over again
*Autumn POV*
I can tell Tre is nervous. In all honesty, I am a little myself. You think I would be use to this, but I still have a fear they will mess my tat up one day. We go into the place and I begin to look around for what I want. I see a cross design I like. Some guy walks out and he begins talking to AJ. Tre is looking at the designs.
"So AJ, you getting another tattoo?" the guy ask.
"Actually, this time I brought my girlfriend and her friend. I might get one before I leave."
The guy smiles and tells us when we are ready, just let him know. I look at Tre and ask if she wants to go first or should I.
*Tre POV*
I am thinking about what Autumn asked me
"I think I'll go first, if it's cool with you. I wanna get this over with" I tell Autumn and her and AJ laugh at me. "What? Sorry, I'm nervous." I tell them
"I know you are baby, just giving you a hard time. Sorry"
AJ says to me and gives me a hug.
I smile back at him and then he leads me back to where the guy is waiting to give us the tats. He looks up when we enter and smiles
"So you ready?" I shake my head yes and he smiles at me. "Ok, I can tell you are a little nervous so I have to ask, are you sure you want to do this?"
He asks me and I look over at AJ and he shakes his head and I look back at the guy
"Yea I'm sure I want to." I tell him.
"OK, then where do you want the tat?" He asks me
"I want it on my shoulder blade" I tell him.
"Ok, lay down on your stomach." He directs me and I do. "So now, what tat do you want?"
"Well I want a dagger with a rose wrapped around it and blood dripping off the thorns"
I tell him and he whistles
"Boy we aren't going easy are we?"
He says with a little chuckle.
"Well that is what I want"
I tell him and he shrugs
"Ok, then that is what you will get."
He starts getting things ready for the tat and asks Autumn and AJ to leave while he does it.
"Well she wants me to stay with her"
AJ tells him and he shakes his head
"I figured she probably would since this is her first one. You can go and check out the different tats, if you would like" He says to Autumn.
Aj sits down by me and takes my right hand and Autumn wishs me luck and heads out to the lobby.
"Ok now this might hurt a little but don't worry, it goes away" The guy tells me and laughs.
I turn my head so I can look at AJ and he gives me a smile and squeezes my hand. The minute the needle hits my skin I close my eyes tight and hope it ends soon
*Autumn POV*
I am out looking at other tats and I am wondering about Tre. I am expecting to hear a sharp yell. I sit down and wait, looking at some magizines.
About 30 minutes later, Tre appears followed by AJ. I look at AJ and he gives me a thumbs up. I am told I have to wait a few minutes so the guy can get ready.
He then calls me back and ask what I want and where I want it.
"I want a cross"
I describe it and state I want the cross close to my ankle. He says okay and gets to work. I am hoping Tre is okay.
*Tre POV*
I'm sitting in the lobby with AJ waiting for Autumn. He is still holding my hand, for which I am grateful. It really wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be but it still hurt.
"You can go and check and see if there are any you want Alex, you don't have to sit here with me"
I tell him because I can tell he is itching to check the new designs out.
He flashes me a smile
"Thanks baby" he tell me and gives me a kiss. I watch him walk over to where the guy has books of the new designs out. I try to lean back and when I do I hit the new tat and let out a small cry and AJ is by my side in a second.
"Are you ok?"
He asks me I smile at him
"Yes AJ I am. I just hit the tat"
I tell him and he sighs with relief and heads back to the books. I hear someone come out from the back and I look up and see Autumn
"So how'd it go?" I ask her when she sits down
"Went fine, hurt more then I thought it would tho." She tells me.
"Well let me see it"
I say to her and she laughs and lifts up her ankle so I can check out her new tat.
"Looks really cool Autumn" I tell her.
"Thanks"
"Your welcome"
"I found it!"
I hear Aj say and I laugh
"Ok, what are you getting now?"
I ask him and get up to check out the design he picked out.
"This one right there"
He tells me pointing. I look down to the picture he is pointing at and I see some tribal signs and I know he already has some on his arm
"You already have some of these on your arm babe." I tell him
"I know I do but I don't see anything I really want here" He tells me flipping through pages.
"Well then why don't you NOT get one right now. I mean you can another time." I tell him.
He sighs and closes the book
"Your right, I should wait til I find one I really want."
"Yes you should" I tell him.
The guy comes out and AJ pays him for the tat and we head out to the car
*Autumn POV*
AJ opens the door for Tre and she carefully gets in. I am in some pain myself but try not to let it get to me.
We take off and AJ is fooling with the stations. He continues to turn the station until he hears a song he likes and sings along with it. I sit in the back singing too and Tre laughs at us.
AJ says that he is hungry and ask if we want to go get something to eat. I start chanting BK and laugh and ask AJ if he can get us a free meal. He says nope but we still go get BK and head back to the hotel. We get out and as soon as we get in the hotel, we see Marcus. He looks mad. He takes AJ aside and Tre and I talk.
"Geez, what crawled up his butt?" I ask Tre.
*Tre POV* I am watching Marcus and AJ talk and i shake my head to Autumn
"I have no idea but something has gotten him upset. I sure hope it isn't too serious"
I tell her and she shakes her head in agreement.
I don't like Marcus much but he does take good care of AJ when the fans are around and getting unruly. There have been times where he probably saved AJ's hide big time. The fans love the guys and would never do anyting to hurt them intentionally but they can get wild and grab for anything.
I can see that Autumns tat is bothering her so I suggest we go and sit down while waiting for AJ. She says ok and we go and sit down. We are just sitting there chatting about things when AJ walks up.
*Autumn POV*
"So Aj, what got Marcus all upset?" I ask him
"He is mad because we took off without him, plus some other things. He was upset Autumn took off last night without someone."
AJ sighed and Tre and I got up and we went and go on the elevator.
"AJ, I hope I haven't been a problem," I said.
He looked over and reassured me I wasn't being a problem and that he and Marcus were going to talk in private after he ate. Before I went in my room, I told them to call me before they got ready to go to the party. They say okay. I walk in my room and decide to eat outside.
*Tre POV*
After we get back into the room I can tell something more is bothering AJ
"Alright Alex, what else is wrong?" I ask him.
"Nothing Tre" "Don't lie to me Alex, what else is going on?" I ask him more forcefully.
He sighs and looks at me
"Well, he started on about you again."
I just sit there and look at him I can't understand why this person dislikes me soo much, Aj and I have been togther a long time and I have never done anything to make anyone think I want him for his money cause I don't. AJ could lose it all and I wouldn't care as long as we were still together. Most of the people in AJ's life knew that but it seemed Marcus had a hard time believeing it.
"Why is he starting on me again?" I ask him.
He gets up and I can tell he is going to try to get out of this but I wont let him. I also get up and grab his hand
"AJ tell me"
I hear him sigh and he turns around and looks at me
"He says that you purposly put me in harms way and that you don't give a care if a fan sees me and hurts me. You just want me to spend my money on you and take you places. The same crap he said the other night. You don't love me blah blah blah. That is why I have to talk to him after we eat."
I just stand there looking at AJ and I can feel the tears come to my eyes. I try to hold them back but I can't this time. He sees them
"Oh baby please don't cry. I knew I should of never told you but you wanted to know. I know it's all lies what he says and so does everyone else in our little 'backstreet family' don't worry and don't let it get to you, I am going to talk to him, I promise you that"
He tells me but it doesn't make me feel better. I just shake my head and mumble something and walk away. I know he feels bad about it all but at this moment that doesn't help. There's a knock on the door and I hear AJ answer it and I hear his voice get loud so I listen in
"Look Marcus I dont give a damn what you think. Tre loves me she isn't using me and you need to keep your mouth shut and your opinoins to yourself. Her and I are going to eat and then I'm coming to your room and we're going to have a little chat"
I heard him tell Marcus and I smile because he is sticking up to a man who could seriously hurt him
"Yea maybe you love her but she sure don't love you, putting you in danger and stuff. She's a slut and just wants your money I tell you man."
"Get the hell out of our room. I don't want to look at you right now. We will talk in about an hour"
I hear the door slam and AJ turn the tv on. The tears come back and I walk out of the bathroom, where I was hiding out, and walk out the door, to AJ's surprise. I hear him call after me but I keep walking. I had to be alone so I head outside.
