*Tre POV*
I can't help but feel sorry for Autumn and the trouble she is having but it also is very funny.
"Poor Autumn" I say to AJ.
He looks at me and says
"Yea, poor Autumn"
We are still looking at each other and bust up laughing.
"Ok, now we are being mean" I say to AJ
"Yea we are, we should stop" He says to me
"Yea we should"
I say back and then we start bust up again.
"OK, now we must stop" AJ says to me and I shake my head. "Want to get a pepsi?" he asks me
"Yea, I'm thirsty" I tell him.
We get to the bar and order. We get our drinks and stand around waiting for Autumn and Fred to come back.
"Ya know with her having to change clothes again, it may be awhile" AJ says to me
"Oh? and why is that?" I ask him.
He laughs "Well uhh she has to go into his room and change into one of his shirts"
He tells me and I see his point.
"Uhh yea your right we may be standing here for a while" I say smiling.
"Yep, wanna pass the time?"
"Doing what?" I ask him.
He rolls his eyes
"Dancing my dirty minded girlfriend, dancing"
He says to me and grabs my hand shaking his hand
"Yea I know what you meant, geesh. OH and by the way" I say to him when we get to the dance floor and he puts his arms around me "You are the dirty minded one in this relationship"
"Oh you think so?"
He says nibbling on my neck
"Yea I know so"
"Nope, I don't think so"
I was going to say something but didn't have the chance, he kissed me to keep me from responding.
*Autumn POV*
I am once again going back into Fred's room to change, while Fred is behind me laughing in amusement because I am cursing up a storm. We get in the room and I turn around and ask him if he is amused.
"Very," he says.
I sit down on his bed and begin saying I am having bad luck and maybe I should just change and stay in his room.
"I think that might be a problem." Fred says.
"And why is that?" I ask.
"Well, you will be lonely if you stay up here," he said while sitting next to me.
I turn and we are making eye contact again.
"You know Autumn, you are still in a beer soaked shirt. My shirt actually."
He was moving in closer to me.
"I know. I'll change in a few."
After I said that, Fred and I were kissing. He pulled away, grinning.
"Why don't I help you get that shirt off. But first...I need to check something."
He ran over and locked the door.
"Now...," he said.
I laughed. "but what about your party?"
"Oh nobody will miss me for a few."
*Tre POV*
AJ and I are soo involved in dancing that it takes a while to realize Autumn and Fred haven't come back yet.
"Alex?"
"Yea baby"
His answer muffled by the fact his mouth was against my neck. I shiver when he talks and he laughs and looks up at me
"Have you noticed it's been a while since we've seen Fred and Autumn?" I ask him.
He gets a grin on his face
"Well now that you bring it up, yea it has been a while."
"Well I'm glad she is having such a good time"
"Yea a REAL good time"
AJ says as we head back to where we put our pepsi's. Aj sits down on a chair and there was no where else for me to sit so he opens his arms and I sit on his lap.
We are sitting there talking for a while when we see Autumn and Fred coming from upstairs holding hands and grinning from ear to ear. I look at AJ and we laugh. They get over to us and we stand up.
AJ and Fred go off to talk and leave us alone so I decide to give her a hard time
"Sooooo Autumn, and exactly where have you been?" I asked her teasing.
She smiles "ohh upstairs changing"
"uh huh..and did Fred help with this changing of clothes?"
She just looks at me and I start laughing and then she slaps me on the arm
*Autumn POV*
"You are awful girl!" I say to Tre.
She smiles and thanks me. I laugh.
"So, are you having fun Tre?"
Tre looks at me and gets this grin on her face.
"Not as much fun as you have had tonight."
I am biting my lip.
"Oh hush Tre."
She makes her famous devil horns and we sit down.
"I wonder what those two are talking about," I ask Tre.
*Tre POV*
I look over to where the guys went
"I don't know but I sure wish I was a fly on the wall and could listen" I tell her and we laugh.
"So how's your tat?" Autumn asks me.
I actualy forgot I had it
"It really isn't bothering me at all. I am even thinking about getting another one"
I tell her and she laughs at me
"OH no AJ look out!"
She says and we crack up.
We are talking for a few more minutes when the guys come back over to us.
"Well did you two have a nice chat?" I ask them.
They look at each other and smile
"Yea, we sure did"
Alex says to me and I get suspicious.
"OK Alexander, what is up?"
I ask him and he just looks at me and tries to act innocent
"Nothing baby, really."
He tells me and Fred starts laughing.
I keep eyeing them both but give up because I realize neither one is going to say anything so I sit down again.
*Autumn POV*
I have learned in life when a guy says something like that and another guy laughs, something major is going on. Fred ask me if I want to go dance. We go out and start to dance.
"So what was that about?" I asked.
"Autumn, I can't tell ya that."
I look back and see AJ and Tre. Sometimes I get so jealous of them because they have something solid, and yet I have nothing. Fred sees the look on my face and ask what is going through my mind.
I smile and say " I can't share that with you."
He laughs and we continue to dance.
*Tre POV*
I watch them go to dance and then turn back to AJ
"OK, what's up?"
I ask him and again he is trying to look innocent
"Nothing, really." He tells me.
I still don't believe him but decide to stop pressing or he will get pissed and the night will be ruined. I turn and watch Autumn dancing with Fred and hope things work out for them. I know we live in Florida and him here but she deserves a good relationship with a guy that will treat her right.
I keep watching the people dance and didn't notice AJ leaving where we were sitting. I look around and I don't see him around anywhere
'now what in the hell is going on?' I think to myself very frustrated.
I turn to see if Fred and Autumn were still on the dance floor and I see Autumn heading back to me and Fred is walking out the door.
"What's up?" I ask her.
"I have no idea. He said he had something to do and he'll be back in a few" She tells me sitting down on a recently occupied chair.
"Well damn, what are they up to?" I wonder out loud.
"I wish I could tell you, Tre"
*Autumn POV*
Tre and I sit and try to find out what AJ and Fred are up to. I ask Tre if she wants another pepsi and she says yeah. I go get her one and get me a Sprite. By the time I get back and sit down, the guys come back.
"I say we ask them point blank," I say to Tre. She nods.
'I hate when people keep things from me' I think.
*Tre POV*
Autumn and I have decided to ask the guys what they are up to.
"OK Fred and AJ, what in the heck are you two up to?" I ask them.
The both look at me
"Nothing" They say in unison and I roll my eyes.
Autumn doesn't look exactly thrilled
"No really, we want to know. What are you up to?" she tries asking this time.
"I tell ya we aren't up to anything."
Fred answers her and then takes her hand and takes her to the dance floor again, even tho he didn't ask her if she wanted to dance again.
I watch them walk away and look at AJ again. He sits down in Autumns chair watching them and then turns and looks at me. I know he can see in my eyes I am not finding this funny but he still doesn't say a thing.
"Alex, please tell me. You know I hate secrets." I say to him.
He sighs "I'm not up to anything Tre."
I finally am tired of this game and get mad and turn my back to him and I hear him sigh again.
*Autumn POV*
Fred drags me out onto the dance floor.
"Fred, seriously, what in the hell is going on?"
"Autumn, I told you not a thing."
"Well, if it involves me or Trelyn we have the right to know."
I was mad now because I was wanting to know, had a right to know, and didn't find it funny.
"Fred, either tell me now or I am out of here."
He wasn't saying a thing. I stormed outside in a fit of rage. Why do men have to be so stuborn? If something was going on, Tre and I had a right to know.
*Tre POV*
I had just turned around to see Autumn walk away from Fred and head outside.
'uh oh'
I think to myself and start to get up but AJ stops me.
"Just wait right here"
He tells me and then follows Fred and Autumn out.
Now I am angry
'this is bullcrap' I think to myself and get up and walk off.
I have no idea where I am going, I'm just walking. I don't go outside because I really don't want to face AJ and Fred at this time. I find the bathroom and go in and close the door.
*AJ POV*
I leave Tre, fuming, to follow Fred and Autumn outside.
'I didn't think she would get so pissed off if we didn't tell her what we were doing, but I guess I was wrong' I am thinking when I come up on them.
"Tell me now Fred, I mean it. We have every right to know if it involves us"
I hear Autumn tell him. I walk up and they both look at me
"Look man, we gotta tell her what's going on"
Fred says to me pointing to Autumn. Sighing I shake my head in agreeing
"Alright, but you have to promise you won't tell Tre, Autumn"
I tell her this knowing what her reaction is going to be
*Autumn POV*
I am so mad right now.
"You tell me first, then I will tell you if I will Tre or not."
I thought that was only fair. AJ sighs and Fred says that sounds fair enough. I say this because I don't want Tre getting hurt or upset. I sit down and wait to hear what is going to be said
*AJ POV*
I look over to Fred and he shrugs his shoulders and I know I either tell Autumn or she'll be mad at him and me for a long time.
"Ok, Autumn here it is. You know how Tre and I were planning on going to Paris next week?" I ask her and she shakes her head yes. "Well you don't know this, but that has been cancelled cause I have to get back to Florida sometime on Friday and then on Monday we start meetings and stuff for our next cd."
I see her look at me and then Fred realizing that if I go back that means she does too, unless Fred does something about that.
"What does this have to do with whatever is going on right now?" she asks me.
"Well in Paris, I was going to ask Tre to marry me, Autumn."
She looks at me shocked.
"What?"
"Yes you heard me, I was going to ask her to marry me. Now, I can't thanks to Jive. Well, I thought I would ask her now, tonight. I don't want to wait now, not since it can't be in Paris where I wanted it to be. So that is what we are up to. Fred is helping me get stuff ready so when I take Tre outside and where I want to ask her, things are romantic"
I finish telling her and she just sits there. I look at her and then Fred and then her again.
"Well? Do you agree?"
*Autumn POV*
I am still shocked. Fred and AJ sit looking at me.
"Autumn? Hello?" AJ says.
I look up with tears in my eyes.
"AJ, that is so sweet. It sucks you can't go to France now. But I promise I won't tell Tre about it."
AJ and Fred smile and AJ hugs me and thanks me. I tell AJ if he wants my help to let me know. AJ smiles and goes in and I look at Fred.
"You know, it is nice of you to help AJ out."
I stop...Fred and nice in the same sentence? Fred comes over and holds me in his arms.
"Well, AJ is like a brother and I'm sorry I didn't tell ya. I think that was damn cool how you stuck up for her though."
I smiled and suggested we go back in.
*AJ POV*
I am so relieved Autumn will keep this from Tre, tho getting Tre to talk to me might be hard at this point. I walk back into the house and to where we were all sitting and Tre isn't there.
'Oh crap' I think to myself.
I start looking around for her. I can't find her and I see Fred and Autumn enter the house
"Guys I can't find Tre." I tell them and they look surprised. "Please help me find her"
"Yea we will man. Lets split up, ok?" Fred says to me.
"Yea ok, sure" I say distracted.
Autumn puts her hand on my arm
"Don't worry AJ we'll find her. I know her and she might be a little peeved you won't tell her whats going on, but she wouldn't leave you." she tells me and that helps a lot.
"Thanks"
I say to her and take off looking for who I hope to be my future wife.
*Autumn POV*
I am looking in a lot of places and I hear someone complaining about not being able to get into the bathroom. A girl says that a girl in a black dress has locked herself in there. I make my way to the line and bang on the door and holler for Tre. I hope she opens the door and lets me in.
