McDonalds

*Tre POV*

I'm upstairs trying to hide the keys when I hear

"I sure am hungry"

Coming from downstairs. I figure it must be Autumns way of telling me Aj is heading upstairs so I hurry into the bathroom and close the door. I open the door a little and watch Aj walk over and pick up the phone and start dialing

"Come on man answer the phone" I hear him say outloud. "Damn" he says and puts the phone down.

He stands up and heads towards the bathroom and I have to think of a hiding place quick, well there really aren't many hiding places in the bathroom, so I hide in the obvious one, the shower. He walks in and he's mumbling to himself

"Why won't they just give me my keys? I need some McD's"

I try hard not to laugh so I back up to try to get further from him when I hit the knob to turn on the water and scream when cold water hits me and I run out of the shower.

"What the hell? Tre?" Aj yells while jumping.

"Umm hi uhh baby" I say to him.

"What are you doing?" He asks me

"Oh nothing really. Well gotta go"

I say and practically run out of the bathroom

"Oh no you don't. You were trying to hide my keys. where are they?"

He yells and practically tackles me before I can get to the door.

"Aj get off me"

"Well that's the first time I've heard you mutter them words" He says to me

"Haha" I say back.

"My keys" He says

"I don't have them" I tell him back trying to get up. "Get off me" I say again.

"Oh fine!" He says getting up very frustrated.

"Thank you"

I tell him and bolt down the stairs. I get back to the kitchen and Fred and Autumn are engaged in a kiss

"Oh excuse me for interrupting" I say sarcastically.

They break apart and look at me

"Tre, your wet" Autumn says to me.

I roll my eyes at her

"Oh give the girl a A+ for observation" I say.

"Oh funny. what happened?" she asks me.

"Well I hid and got caught by water...AGAIN. I hate water"

I say to them and her and Fred laugh at me

*Autumn POV*

"Poor Trelyn. The things she has to go through just to keep McLean's keys hidden," Fred says.

"Yep, but it will be worth it. I think I'll have to hide his phone next because he will be calling all the guys," she replies.

Just as I am about to say something there is a knock at the door. Tre looks at me.

"Autumn can you get that? I need to change?"

"Sure can."

I walk over to the door and see Howie with a McDonald's bag.

"Fred, get over here! We have a problem!"

"What is it?"

"Look!"

Fred looks out.

"Listen, why don't I keep him outside while you go get Trelyn. Maybe I can get the food from him and trash it."

"Yeah like that would work. Howie and AJ are best buds. He would want to give him the food himself. Just go and keep him distracted. I'll go get Trelyn and hope AJ don't wonder along." I start off.

"hey baby?"

"yeah?"

"If he tries, ask him about his hats. That will keep him occupied."

I smile.

"Oh yes...his hats. Gotta remember that."

*Tre POV*

I'm changing clothes and Aj is watching me trying to think of a way to get me to give him his keys. There is a knock on the door right as I am putting my shirt on

"Tre?" I hear Autumn ask.

"Hold on a second Autumn, I"m almost done" I tell her. I feel arms wrap around my waist and then kisses on my stomach 'ok, now that is distracting' I think to myself. "Alex, stop that." I tell him

"Oh but baby, I can't help it" He tells me and continues.

"Though I would love for this to continue and progress, Autumn is outside the door" I tell him.

"Well tell her to leave" He says to me

"AJ! And anyway this won't get you your keys" I tell him.

He sighs and moves away from me and I pull my shirt down.

"You are cruel" He tells me.

I walk over to him and take his face in my hands

"But you love me anyway"

I tell him and give him a kiss.

"Yea that I do" He tells me.

I walk over to the door and open it

"Hey what's up?" I ask her. She motions for me to go out in the hall way. I step out and close the door "What?"

"Howie's here" She tells me

"Ok??"

"With Mcdonalds"

"Oh crap"

I say and take off down the stairs. I get to the front door and I see Fred talking to him and poor Howie is asking to see Aj

"Sorry man, he's busy. Why don't you give me that and I'll give it to him" fred tells him.

"Naw, that's all right really. I just wanna give it to him." Howie says.

I walk out and smile at Howie

"Hey there gorgeous, what are you doing here?" I greet him.

He smiles his beautiful smile

"Hey there Tre. I got this weird phone call from Aje saying he needed food and no one would give him his keys so I went and got him some Mcdonalds" He tells me. "Oh that's sweet of you D. Why don't you give that to me and I"ll give it to him." I say to him.

"Well Tre, sorry but he said I can only give it to him."

"Oh really?" I ask.

"Yea."

'Hmmm.' I think to myself I notice Howie relaxed some when I came out and that Fred was standing by him. I motion to Fred and he looks down at the bag in Howie's hand and smiles. "Well Howie, Aj is really busy right now. So just give the bag to me and I will give him it, I promise" I tell him

"Well I would but you know he asked me to give it to him" Howie replies.

Right then Fred grabs the bag of food and runs to the house. I laugh at the shocked expression on poor Howie's face.

"What the......?"

"I'm sorry Howie, I promise to explain later"

I tell him as I give him a quick kiss on the cheek and walk back into the house. Fred is standing there laughing when we hear

"Autumn give me my hat back, it's one of my favorites"

"Fred quick....throw it away or something" I tell him. He runs into the kitchen and starts to throw it in the garbage "Wait...he'll find it there. Give me it" I take it from Fred and look around. I take the stuff out of the bag and throw it to Fred "Hide it"

I tell him and he goes to do that. While he is doing that I put the food in the disposal and turn it on right as Aj walks into the kitchen with Autumn following him

*Autumn POV*

We enter the kitchen as we hear the disposal running.

"Baby, what are you doing?" AJ asks.

"Nothing. Just running the disposal because..um.."

AJ looks at her. I butt in.

"Because I ate a sandwhich and threw it in there and didn't get it disposed."

I am thinking how lame that was when AJ starts sniffing the air.

"I smell McDonald's!"

"No you don't" Tre and I say.

"Yes I do..I know the smell of McDonald's and that is McDonald's."

"AJ, you are just imagining that," I say.

AJ looks around.

"And where is Fred? Is he hiding my keys?"

"No AJ. He had to go to his car and get something," Tre said.

"I thought he lost his keys. Okay, what are you three up to?"

As Aj said that Fred walked in and saw AJ looking at him.

"Fred, give me my keys."

"Damnit McLean, I don't have them."

"Fine, give me your keys."

"Hell no you aren't getting my keys."

*Tre POV*

"Man just give me your freaking keys"

"I said no McLean"

"Man why not, this is so stupid."

"Because you are not driving my car" Fred says looking at me for help

"AJ honey, sweetie come here" I say to him.

He turns around and looks at me

"What?" He asks in a very rough edged voice

"Oh now now, no need for that tone young man"

I tell him and Autumn and Fred laugh. He rolls his eyes at me but comes over to me. I take his hand and lead him to the stairs

"Go up stairs and put your suit on and go relax in the jacuzee. That always makes you feel better" I tell him.

He looks at me and gives me this annoyed, confused and frustrated look.

"I'm not getting my keys am I?" He asks me

"No" I tell him.

"I'm not getting my McDonalds either am I?"

"No" I tell him.

He sighs and heads upstairs

"I know when I'm defeated" He says and heads up to our room.

'That was way to easy' I think to myself. I turn around to look at Fred and Autumn when something out the living room window catches my eye. 'Howie! he hasn't left yet' I think as I run to the front door. I open the door right as AJ is coming out from around the back and trying to hop in Howie's corvette.

"Nu uh baby....I don't think so" I say to him as I make it there just in time.

"Trelyn" he whines

"No. Now back into the house" I tell him.

"You suck" he says to me and stomps back to the house.

"Tre, what in the blue blazes is going on?" Howie asks me totally confused.

"I will explain tomorrow Howie" I tell him and close his passenger door and head back into the house. I get in and close the door and Autumn and Fred are standing at the stairs looking up "what's up?" I ask but before they can answer I hear a crash and Aj yelling

"This suck man. I don't get it. I thought she loved me and she's treating me like this what the hell is going on?" Aj says to no one really.

I look over to Fred and Autumn and they are just staring up stairs

'They've never seen him go off before' I think to myself "Geesh, all this over mcdonalds" I say to them and they shake their heads. "Well I better go upstairs and try to calm him down" I tell them and head up to AJ 'tomorrow just can't come too soon' I think as I open our bedroom door

*Autumn POV*

We watch Tre go up the steps.

"Man, I hope she can get McLean to chill," Fred says while his back is turned.

"I hope so to or else I'm heading to a hotel for the night. I don't want to be around that."

Fred and I stand in silence for a little while.

"You know, we are actually alone now," Fred says while loking at me.

"Ya think?"

Fred comes over and puts his arms around me and we are about to kiss when there is another knock at the door.

"Fred, come over here with me and help me get rid of Howie. The poor guy is probably already confused."

Fred leads me over to the door and when we open it not only is Howie standing in front of us but so is Kevin.

"Hey, is AJ here?" Kevin asks.

"Yeah but it's not the best time," I tell him.

Howie looks at Fred.

"Can you tell us what is going on?"

"Yeah I got a call from AJ and he sounded like he was crying or on the verge." Kevin says.

I bit my lip and turn my head so I can't laugh.

"Well, he and I were shootin some pool and made a bet. He lost so he has to go without McDonald's. We're just making sure he lives up to the vow he took," Fred explains.

Kevin and Howie look at each other.

"I know that is hard for him but he does need to stay by his vow." Kevin says and Howie nods.

"Man, if I had known that I wouldn't had brought him the food. That's why you and Trelyn were wanting the bag." Howie finished and I nodded.

"Guys, we are sorry he drug you into that. He's gonna get his food tomorrow unless he bets against me and loses." Fred laughed at me when I said that.

"Okay, well I have to get to Tabu. You guys try to swing by there later, okay Fred?"

"Aight man. Take care."

Howie walked off. Kevin spoke up.

"Yeah, I have to get too. Remind AJ that we have a meeting tomorrow and tell him NOT to be late, ok?"

I laugh. "AJ be on time? That will never happen!"

Kevin laughed and walked away. Fred and I walk back in and head to the billard room.

"You know, I hated lying to them but I had to. I don't need more torture."

Fred laughed. "No you don't."

We start shooting pool and wonder about Tre and AJ.

*Tre POV*

I'm standing in mine and Aj's bedroom listening to AJ list all the reasons I can't possibly love him.....he has one reason!

"Aj now don't be like this, it's only Mcdonalds. That's it. It's not like the world is over" I tell him.

He looks up at me from where he is sitting with his head in his hands

"It is for me" He tells me

'Oh yea...drama king at his best' I think to myself "What do you mean?" I ask

"My girl, who I thought I had a wonderful future with, doesn't love me" He tells me.

'Oh brother, that was a fine act' I think as I head over to him. "Of course I love you sweetie"

"Then give me my keys"

"I can't do that" I tell him

"Why not?"

"I don't have them" I tell him and he stands up so fast he knocks me off my feet and onto my butt "Well geee thank you" I tell him. He turns and looks at me and then laughs "I am glad you find humor in me falling on my butt" I tell him sarcastically as I get up "Oh and thanks for the hand" I say turning and looking at him.

He smiles and lifts up his hands and starts to clap

"Better?" He asks.

"Oh yea much much better" I tell him "Thank you" He goes to the door and opens it and looks down the hallway "What are you doing?" I ask him

"Seeing if Fred or Autumn are hiding my keys" He says to me.

"Honey they are not hiding your keys" "I have no idea" I tell him.

"Liar. I'm finding my keys and you won't stop me and I'm getting my McDonalds and you won't stop me there either!"

He tells me and then runs down the hall to the stairs. I slowly make my way down the stairs and I can hear him going through the kitchen. I get to the bottom of the stairs and Autumn and Fred meet me there

"What is he doing?" Autumn asks.

"Looking for his keys" I tell her.

"Will he find them?"

"No"

I tell her and then take the keys out of my pocket. She smiles and shakes her head at me.

*Autumn POV*

Tre quickly puts the keys back into her pocket.

"Oh while you were up trying to soothe AJ, Howie and Kevin were outside wanting to know what was going on," I tell her.

"Oh, what did you tell them?"

"Told them the pool bettin story," Fred says.

We stand there and watch as AJ starts throwing everything around.

"I'm not cleaning this up AJ," Tre says.

"Gotta find my keys" AJ says as he moves around.

"Hey McLean, Kevin came by and said your butt had a meeting tomorrow and not to be late."

Aj stops. "Well, I might run late if I don't have my keys!" and goes back to looking.

"Oh, Howie asked if we wanted to swing by his club. Maybe we should so AJ can relax and we keep and eye on him so he don't run off. I know I want to get out and have fun." I look back at AJ. "Though watching him is fun."

AJ walks by and grabs the phone.

"Gotta call Nick"

He whispers, thinking we can't hear him. But knowing Nick, he has the phone off the hook, his cell off, and playing his new X Box.

*Tre POV*

AJ is swearing very colorfully as he is trying to get ahold of Nicky.

"Baby face it, he aint answering I tell him"

"He will" he tells me with a determined look.

"Ok, if u say so. I'm gonna get ready to go out"

I tell him as I head up stairs

"Go out?" He asks me.

"Yes Howie wants us to stop by the club" I tell him.

"Oh" was his reply as he started dialing again. I stop my ascent on the stairs and turn around and walk over to him and grab the phone "HEY! give that back"

"No, AJ." I tell him and begin going upstairs again.

"Give it back" He whines.

I laugh at him "No. You are coming out with us."

I tell him and walk into our room. I go and take a shower and put on my black leather mini skirt and black lace shirt. I walk out and see AJ still on the phone.

"Still trying?" I ask him.

He looks up at me and then back down at the phone "Yes I am" He says. I shake my head and put my jewerly on. "whoa" I hear from behind me as AJ finally really looked at me without seeing a burger with legs, I swear the boy needs help. "You look hot baby" He tells me as he puts the phone down and comes over to me

"Thank you. Now go and get ready so we can leave." I tell him.

"Ok I will" He says.

He grabs his clothes and gives me a kiss and heads in to take a shower. Instead of waiting for him in the room I go down stairs to shoot a little pool as I wait

*Autumn POV*

I come down in my back leather like pants and my shirt that says 'Angel' in sequence. I walk into the billiard room and when Tre sees my shirt she laughs.

"What?"

"Nothing, just your shirt. You know, it is illegal to do false advertising."

"Shut up Tre,"

"But if I shut up, we can't talk." I laugh at that.

"I am too an angel."

"Yeah. One with horns holding up the halo."

"Oh and you are a good one to talk."

We look at each other and laugh. We hear Fred and AJ talking.

"Come on Durst, tell me where my keys are."

"I have no idea McLean."

"Well, you suck. I'll get my food, so help me."

"Well are we ready to get rollin?" Fred ask.

Tre and I nod and start singing 'keep rollin rollin rollin' and we laugh.

"Well Fred, looks like you are gonna be driving," Tre says.

AJ and Tre get in the back while Fred and I ride in the front.

"Fred, I'll give you $20 to stop at McDonald's."

"Hell no. McLean, get a grip and chill."

As soon as we turn the radio on, N Sync is playing.

"Oh no..that's gotta go."

I say as I change the station and stop it when I hear Bon Jovi's "It's my Life".

*Tre POV*

"Yea it's my life so give me my fricken keys and I can do with it what I want"

AJ sings to us and we all start laughing.

"Ohh now that was creative baby" I tell him and kiss him.

"Yea gee thanks, too bad this reality don't copy fiction" He mumbles but everyone heard him anyway.

We get to the club and it's jumping, like usual on a Saturday night. Fred parks and we enter through the back and run into Kev and Kristin

"Hey guys" I say to them.

"Hey hey, what's up?" Kev says and I laugh

"Umm already feeling good, kevy?" I ask him.

Kristin laughs "He was feeling good about an hour ago, Tre. I think it's past that now"

We all laugh

"Well good luck girl, I think your gonna need it"

I tell her as Kevin takes her hand and leads her into a back room. I shake my head and Aj grabs my hand

"Lets dance baby" He yells at me over the music

"Ok, sounds good" I tell him.

I motion to Fred and Autumn that we are hitting the dance floor. She shakes her head and grabs Fred and we all four go up and start dancing. I look up in the V.I.P section and see the rest of BSB up there. I get closer to AJ to tell him but he thinks I do it for a different reason and smiles and puts his hands on my hips and we start dancing a lot closer to where you couldn't get a thin piece of paper between us.

I look over at Autumn and she rolls her eyes and acts like she's gagging. I laugh and stick my tongue out at her. The song gets over and I finally can tell AJ that the guys were in the V.I.P section. We all head up there and wouldn't you know it....Nick is there

*Autumn POV*

Fred sees Nick. "Oh yeah, this is gonna be very interesting," he tells me.

"Nick, just where in the hell were you! I had to talk to you about, um, something." AJ tries to cover his tracks but we know.

"Sorry but I got my X Box today and it was the coolest thing ever!"

AJ sits and begins to shake. "Guys, I'll be right back."

He runs off and we can vaguely see him looking for his money.

"Fred, would you go make sure he doesn't take off," Tre ask. Fred runs in search of AJ. We all sit around and Kevin, Kristin, Brian, Leighann, and Howie all run off to take care of whatever they are gonna do. Nick looks over at Tre.

"Alright Trelyn, why are you and Autumn keeping AJ from his food?"

We look at each other and laugh.

"We are pranking him Nicky," I say.

"Damn, don't call me Nicky."

Tre laughs. "Okay Nicky."

Nick wants to get mad but instead laughs. As we are all laughing we see Fred directing AJ to the table.

"But come on man. If it was the other way around I'd take you to where ever you wanted to go."

"AJ, give it a break. You need to get McDonald's off your mind!"

"But I can't!"

Howie walks over and hears what we are talking about.

"AJe, just accept the fact you can't have McDonald's right now."

Aj sits down and sulks. I motion for Tre and Fred to come over to the side with me.

"You think we can watch him the whole time we are here?"

We glance over and see AJ talking to Nick. Trelyn looks over at me and Fred.

"Okay, I'll keep him close by me unless he says he has to go to the bathroom. Fred..."

Fred cuts her off.

"I can watch him. I don't mind as long as he don't try to kill us or something."

"Oh AJ wouldn't kill us. He'd..."

Before I could finish we hear AJ scream,

"THEY WHAT!!!??"

We all three look at each other and hope doesn't mean us.
