Tre: *laughing too*
Autumn: "I saw them and busted up laughing and Lori was like 'um, ok'
Tre: *laughing* "that would be a trip"
Autumn: *laughing* :It would?"
Tre "Yea, it would"
Auutmn: "No, a trip is where you pile into a car and drive while kids scream and the man driving gets lost"
Tre: "Umm no, not this 'trip'
Autumn: "OHHHH"
Nick: Even I got that!
Autumn: Do I need to slap you again?
AJ: YEAH! Slap him again
Nick: What? AJ!
Autumn: Well how about I slap Nick and then spear you AJ?
AJ: Well now THAT I don't go along with. I haven't done anything to you.....yet
Nick: He's Lying! Autumn, remember the time AJ shoved you into the pool for NO reason?
AJ: Nick....I said tonight, dufus
Nick: No you didn't you moron
AJ: Well dilrod, she knew I meant tonight because obviously I have done things in the past. So shut up.
Nick: make me freak boy! *sticks tongue out at AJ*
AJ: *standing up* No problem whiney boy
Kevin: Hey ...why don't you two just calm down before I put BOTH of you in a corner?
*Autumn laughs*
AJ: He started it Kev and besides I'm not 10, you don't put a grown up in the corner.
Kevin: He always starts it doesn't he AJ? But have you ever thought maybe you provoke him? And as far as being ten goes...you act it a lot of times. And Autumn, stop laughing or you'll be in the corner too.
Tre: Ohhh gee here we go again..daddy Kevin is gonna punish us all. Kevin, hate to tell you this, but we already have dads we really don't need you to get all "I'm mightier than you' on us. Leave them alone, maybe Nicky will learn to keep his trap shut.
Kevin: *in shock* TRELYN!
Tre: *being stubborn* What? It's the damn truth. Get over it.
Nick: *thinking* Hey weren't you suppose to pick on Durst tonight? I ALWAYS get picked on! Pick on someone esle!
AJ: Yeah....we want a good laugh. Pick on the anrgy man! *kicks Nick*
Tre: anrgy? AJ, did you learn how to talk/spell from Nick?
AJ: Angry
Tre: AHhhhh ok. *kicks Nick too*
AJ: I kicked him!
AJ: Seeee? (pointing up)
Nick: That's it! I'm leaving!
*Nick walks off*
Tre: Yea so? You have the 'I only can kick Nicky' award or something? Get over it. Geesh, just because your a backstreet boy doesn't give you all the privledges tattoo boy.
AJ: Tre! You know, I think I'll go hang out with Nick.
*AJ leaves*

Tre: *looks at Autumn* Hey girl you wanna go shopping or something? I sure in the heck don't wanna hang here with 'daddy Kevin'
Autumn: Hey how about we write that story and make fun of Durst?
Tre: Sounds like a plan to me, plus it gets us away from parrott boy over here *points at Kevs hair*
Autumn: *laughing* No you mean cluck man

Kevin: SHUT UP TRE AND AUTUMN!
Tre: *laughing* Ready to go write girl?
Autumn: Yep. Holy paperback, Batman! To the writing room!!! *takes off running*

Kevin: Hell help you? Someone please come and save me.
Tre: Face it Kev, your stuck. *follows Autumn to the 'writing room'*

*Tre POV*
"AJ, I'm going to go and get Autumn now. Is there anything you want from the mall?" I call out to my boyfriend as I head out the door.
"Naw baby, I don't need anything right now. Unless of course you wanna buy me a hat and a pair of sunglasses I saw at a shop there?" He yells to me and I can hear the smile in his voice.
Rolling my eyes I say back
"Hun, I do believe one room full of hats and sunglasses is enough. We buy anymore we will have to put an addition on the house just for them!"
"Awww now what would be wrong with that babe?"
"Oh geeesh. I'm leaving."
"What no kiss bye?" He says to me suddenly appearing behind me.
I jump and hit him on the arm
"I hate it when you do that!" I tell him but laugh.
He laughs at me
"I know you do, that's why I do it."
I give him a kiss and say good bye and head on over to Autumn and Freds place.
*Autumn POV*
I'm sitting in the living room, watching some cartoons when there is a knock at the door.
"Hey girl, wasup?"
"Nada. So we ready to go?"
"Yeah. I have to get AJ a hat..well maybe."
I laugh.
"A hat? Geesh he has like a million. That's the last thing he needs." I see Tre looking around. "What you looking for?"
"Fred. He in the closet again?" I try not to laugh but it's just in the way she says it. I nod. "Hey I want to go torment him. I'm sure you want to tell him your leaving with me."
As we head up the stairs, I laugh.
"He wouldn't miss me. I bet he's watching Fight Club and trying to get the lyrics going."
We soon enter the bedroom and we hear the tv. I see Tre quickly walk over to the closet and knock on the door. I see her grin and think uh-oh.
*Tre POV*
I stand and wait for Fred to answer the 'door' of the closet with Autumn watching me, knowing I'm up to no good. Hey gotta pick on pissed off man, it's like a rule or something.
He opens the door and I look at him and he groans
"What?" He asks gruffly.
"Fred, are you EVER gonna come out of the closet?" I ask him.
I hear him growl
"Tre, I think you need to shut up now"
"Awww come on Fred, inquiring minds wanna know if you are ever gonna come out of the closet and let the world see you for who you truely are" I say to him.
He looks past me to Autumn
"Babe tell your friend to go away"
I start laughing and walk away
"Fine fine, I'm heading to the kitchen to wait for you Autumn. I'm serious though Fred, now would be a good time to come out. I mean with the new album and all"
"TRE! GET THE ..... JUST GET OUT!"
I laugh all the way down to the kitchen as I hear Autumn trying to calm him down.
"It's ok, Fred she just does it to piss you off, well more then you usually are anyway"
"Autumn...why is she here?"
I get to the kitchen so I don't hear her explanation.
"AUTUMN HURRY UP,,UNLESS YOU ARE CONVINCING FRED TO COME OUT!" I yell just to get on Freds nerves once again.
I'm just getting a soda when she enters the kitchen
*Autumn POV*
I crouch down so I can look at Fred.
"Well, we're going shopping. That okay?"
"Yeah. Hey pick me up some cool Cds and a shirt or somethin, okay?"
I smile.
"I can do that."
"Oh I can name some other things you can do," Fred says grinning.
"FRED!" I yell and slap him on the arm. "So are you writing or watching Fight Club yet again?"
"Oh I'm writing you know."
I look at him and listen.
"Well, how come I hear Brad Pitt's voice?"
I can tell Fred has no explaination so he grabs me and kisses me, almost pulling me into the closet.
"AUTUMN HURRY UP,,UNLESS YOU ARE CONVINCING FRED TO COME OUT!"
I look down and bite my lip.
"Please put on Staind and torment her for me...please! And it's NOT funny."
I give him one more kiss and walk out and down to the kitchen.
"OK, let's roll," I say.
*Tre POV*
"Dang finally. I'm telling you that boy needs to come out of the closet."
"Tre, stop it, he's writing, although I did hear Brad Pitts voice"
"Wait, you hear Brad Pitts voice coming from the closet? Well why in the heck am I leaving, I'm going right back upstairs" I tell her and turn around to start walking back in.
She starts laughing at me
"He's watching Fight Club idiot" She tells me.
I look at her and smile
"Oh ok, well I was gonna ask why he had Brad in the closet with him..." I tell her smiling.
"You are mean girl, very mean" She tells me.
I smile at her and start the car
"I know. I can't help it. I hang out with Nicky all the time, it rubs off on ya" I tell her and we laugh.
We get to the mall and head over to the shop I know AJ saw the hat and glasses he wanted
"Why I am buying him another pair and another hat, I'll never know" I say to no one really.
Autumn laughs at me
"Oh about the same reason I buy Fred another hat. Cause you hate it when they pout" She says laughing.
I laugh with her
"True, so very true"
*Autumn POV*
After a good three hours have passed, we decide to leave because we've spent more than enough money.
"So what you and Fred doing tonight?"
"Nothing I guess. Why?"
"Well, I thought maybe you two could come and join us for dinner. We're cooking out and everything plus the guys will be there and well, I know Fred loves to scare Nick."
"HEY sounds like fun. Wait..I have to call him first and make sure it's cool. Heaven forbid I interrrupt Fight Club." Tre laughs and I look up at her while I dial. "You think I'm kidding don't you?"
*Tre POV*
"You mean he likes that movie THAT much?" I ask her.
"Oh man it's scary. Even more scary then me watching Gone With The Wind. "
I laugh
"Wow, now that is scary"
She hits me on the arm
"Shut up"
I laugh at her
"Well it's true. AJ loves Pulp Fiction. I am soo sick of that movie I could scream" I tell her and it's her turn to laugh. "You go ahead and call Fred about tonight. I know Nick is just looking totally forward to seeing Fred."
"Yea I bet he is"
I laugh
"Well the look on his face when I said I was going to invite the two of you was classic"
"You love to torment him a little too much Tre"
"Yes I know, I can't help it. Nick and Kevin, I have way too much fun. You should see how I am on tour"
I tell her and she just shakes her head and dials up Fred.
*Fred POV*
I'm sitting watching the movie and it comes to my favorite part.
"Oh damn I love this part."
Suddenly the phone starts ringing. I sigh.
"Damnit..they always interrrupt me while I am watching..I mean working. yeah. WHAT is it?"
I hear Tre say something, probably a remark about the closet when I hear Autumn say
"TRE!"
The signal is getting weak so I go to get up....
*Autumn POV*
I hear it ring a couple times then I here Fred ask
"What?".
Tre grabs the phone.
"Hey can I ask him if... "
"TRE! Fred..."
I hear a thud, followed by cussing. I know the phone has fallen to the ground.
"Fred? hello?"
I hear the phone picked up.
"Yes, Fred here."
"Hey sweetie. We have anything planned tonight?"
"No we do not. Why?"
"Well, we have been invited to tre and AJ's for a cookout..."
"That's great. We haven't spent an evening with AJ and Tre and I think we could have a great time. I haven't spoken to Alex in a long time. It's more than fine with me and could you two pick me up? If it's a problem I totally understand."
"Um, sure. I gotta go."
"I understand. You two be careful, okay?"
"Yeah.."
I hang up and just stare at the phone.
*Tre POV*
"What Autumn, what's wrong?" I ask her after she hangs up with Fred.
"Umm, I'm not sure. Fred just started acting funny"
"Funny?"
"Yea, started talking all...nice and stuff"
"Wait, did you just say Fred and nice in the same sentence?" I ask her
"Yea, I did"
"OK, now I know something is definitly wrong. Lets take off to my place" I tell her and start to walk away.
"Wait, Tre he wanted us to pick him up"
"Oh ok, no prob, lets go."
We get to the car and put the bags and stuff in the trunk and then get in and take off. Autumn is being really quiet so I know the conversation with Fred is bugging her.
"Oh come on girl, you know he's probably messin with ya"
"Yea, I know but he sounded so.....wierd" She tells me shaking her head.
I look at her and can tell it's really gotten to her so I decide not to talk about it anymore. I find a cd and smile and put it in the player
"Here this will cheer you up"
I tell her as the sounds of 'Break Stuff' start to come from the speakers
*Autumn POV*
As Break Stuff is playing, we pull into the driveway and see Fred. I get out and greet him with a kiss. I go to get my things and Fred stops me.
"Here, allow me. You just get back in the car and wait on me."
And with that, he gets the shopping bags and takes them inside. I look at Tre and she shrugs and puts Break Stuff on again.
Fred finally reemerges and gets into the back seat.
"Fred, what you want to listen to?"
"Trelyn, I don't care. Listen to whatever you want to. It's your car."
*Tre POV*
I look at Fred with a strange look on my face not quite believing he just said that.
"Umm ok, how about ohh Nsync?" I ask.
Autumn shoots me a look and I shrug.
"Sure, that's fine Trelyn. I mean it is your car, whatever it is you would like to hear" Fred tells me
I almost run a stop sign I am so shocked
"TRE! STOP SIGN"
Autumn yells and I shake my head and slam on the breaks.
"Wow, thanks Autumn."
"Your welcome. Watch where your going please" She tells me in a strained voice.
"Yea, yea I am, sorry. Just ummm a little unnerved is all" I tell her and take off from the sign.
"Trelyn, you must drive more carefully. You must pay attention to the road you never know what kind of drivers are out there and you really must watch out" Fred tells me.
I drive in shock and silence all the way to mine and AJ's place. Autumn doesn't say much herself and Fred just humms along with the Eminem cd I put in for what I thought was a joke
*Autumn POV*
We pull up to AJ and Tre's house and we see cars that aren't AJ's. We get out and Fred opens the door for us. I see AJ right off, as he is messing with Brian.
'Maybe Fred is just really kidding around with me and Tre, as revenge for the closet thing. That has to be it. it's all a joke. When he sees Nick, he'll make him think the same thing then he'll laugh and get all of us.'
AJ sees us.
"Where's my hat?!" He grabs a bag and finds it and grins.
"AJ, aren't you gonna say hi to Autumn and Fred?" Tre asks.
"Hey Autumn. Sup Durst?"
"Hello Alex. Long time no see huh? Hello Brian, how are you doing and how is that lovely wife of yours?"
*Tre POV*
I watch as AJ and Brians jaws drop. AJ turns and looks at me
"He's joking, right?" He asks me in a whisper.
"I honestly have no idea, AJ. He's been like this since Autumn talked to him earlier today."
"Umm Leigh is uhhh fine, thanks for asking Fred" Brian answers and looks to me for an answer.
'What is this? like I know what's going on in Dursts head' I think to myself and shrug to Brian.
"Umm lets go on into the house. The rest of the fellas are in the back"
Aj tells us and we all head in. Fred gets to the door first and opens it for all of us
"After you" He tells us.
"Uh, yea umm thanks uhh Fred" Aj says shocked.
We get in and AJ turns to me
"I was waiting for the door to slam on me. What in the hell is going on Tre?" He asks me
"Honestly AJ, I have no idea. Autumn talked to him on the phone and he was like this."
I tell him and he looks at me like he didn't believe me.
"Honest?"
"Yes AJ, honest" I tell him.
We get to the back yard and Fred walks up to Howie and Kevin
"Why hello Kevin, Howie. How are you doing on this beautiful day? Kevin how is that gorgeous wife of yours doing?"
*Autumn POV*
Howie and Kevin react the same way as Brian and AJ.
"I'm fine and you Fred?" Howie asks.
"I'm doing great. You know, I feel great on a great day like this."
Kevin is about to answer when Nick comes out. We all brace ourselves. Nick's eyes bug out as he sees Fred walking towards him. I have to laugh cause Fred can intimidate Nick so much without even trying.
If we weren't shocked at first, we are now cause Fred has his arm on Nick's shoulder.
"Hey Nick. How are you?"
"Um..I'm fine" Nick squeaks out.
*Tre POV*
"Good, good I'm happy to hear that Nick." Fred says to Nick.
Nick turns to us with shock evident in his eyes
"Ok, what's he going to do to me?" He asks us.
"I'm not going to do anything to you, silly Nick. I am very interested in how you are doing on this fine day. Now, what are we cooking today?" He asks us.
"Oh uhh umm steaks. Yea, I got some steaks for us to grill out. I'll go get them"
AJ tells him and giving me a look as he walked back into the house. I sigh and follow him in.
"What?" I ask him annoyed.
"Hey don't use that with me Trelyn" He says to me.
"AJ trying to act like pissed off man won't work here. You aren't as intimidating as Fred is...was..can be" I tell him.
I watch as he gets the marinated steaks out of the fridge and put them on a plate to take to the grill.
"Look, I'm not trying to be like Fred. I just want to know what it is you 3 are up to? I mean come on he was nice to Nick? What was up with that? He's up to something and I think you know what it is"
I walk over to him and take the plate away from him and put it back on the counter
"Alex, we don't know what's going on so don't even try to accuse Autumn and I being in on it cause as far as we know, there is nothing to be in on. If Fred is up to something, we know nothing about it. OK?" I ask him.
"Yea yea, ok, but if I find out you knew, I won't let you forget it." He tells me and walks back outside.
"Oh don't I know it"
I say out loud remembering the fact that he won't let me forget about the time I knew Nick changed his shampoo from his regular shampoo to some kind of dyed liquid, that happened to get everywhere not just his hair. I thought he would never stop screaming at us. I shake my head, afraid that before this night ended I would be reminded of that night and walk back to the backyard
*Autumn POV*
I see Fred and walk over to him.
"Fred, you okay?"
He grins.
"I'm better than fine sweetie.I'm with my friends gonna have a good time and I'm with the girl I love. Life couldn't get any better." He can feel me staring at him. "Autumn, what's wrong? Come on you can talk to me. Did someone say something to you?" I shake my head no. Fred takes me in his arms and softly kisses me. "Don't worry if someone did. It's just their way of having fun with you." I'm about to say something when Fred looks right into my eyes. I'm expecting him to start laughing and saying he got me and everyone else good but I'm shocked when he says " I'm seriously considering giving AJ my Fight Club movie. I'd rather have something like..oh ..the Bridges of Madison County."
Before I know what I'm saying I yell
"WHAT THE HELL?"
Fred shoots me a look.
"Autumn, no need for profanity."
I see AJ and Tre come out and I run over to them...making sure that the guys don't knock me over while trying to spray each other with waterguns.
*Tre POV*
"Autumn, what's wrong?" I ask her when she gets to AJ and I.
"Tre, we have to do something. something is wrong with Fred."
"Well no shit, I could of told you that" AJ says to her.
I slap him on the arm
"Be nice AJ, she is upset" I tell him.
"Well damn aren't we all. I mean Fred isn't acting like Fred. It's scary" He says and walks off leaving us alone.
"Ok, Autumn, what happened?" I ask her.
"He...he told me there was no need for porfanity." She tells me
"Okayyy" I say to her a little confused.
Yea ok, Fred saying there is no need for swearing is like telling a dog there is no need to bark, but something else had to happen.
"What else?" I ask her.
She looks at me and I can see she is really upset
"He said he wants to give AJ his fight club movie and and buy.... this is too horrible to say" She tells me looking away.
"Autumn, come on, you can tell me. What did he say?"
"He said he wanted to buy Bridges of Madison county" She tells me.
I look at her shocked and look over at Fred
"What the hell is going on?" I ask myself.
"I don't know but it needs to quit" She says to me and I shake my head agreeing.
We watch the boys spraying each other and AJ gets Nick with the water and all of a sudden Nick starts whining, in true Nick fashion
"Noooo not my hair. I have highlights in my hair"
We all stop doing whatever we were and bust up laughing. He looks at us all
"What?" he asks.
"What Nick, the highlights going to fall out if you get them wet?" I ask.
"Ha ha Tre, no I just can't get wet" He tells me.
"Uhh does that mean you aren't showering, Nick? I thought I smelled something" Autumn says to him.
"Shut up Autu...umm Tre" Nick yells.
"Tre? what? I didn't say it"
"I know"
Nick says to me stealing a frightful glance over at Fred. I just roll my eyes.
*Autumn POV*
The guys go back to chasing each other, all the while two people are yelling about their hair: Nick and Howie. I am sitting by Tre and laughing but keeping an eye on Fred.
"Man I STILL can't believe he said that. If this is a joke, it's going too far. It's your fault Tre!"
"Mine? What I do?"
"Those closet jokes made him go over the deep end and he decided to get all of us on this joke."
"Well I ain't the one who lets him sleep in the closet AUTUMN."
"What's that suppose to mean?"
All of a sudden, I look up and see AJ in front of Fred, but he quickly moves when Nick goes to squirt him. instead, he gets Fred. Fred looks down and has this look on his face. Tre and I sit up.
"Finally, the joke is over."
Nick has Fred staring at him and Nick looks like he needs a change of shorts.
*Tre POV*
Everyone stops and watches Fred and Nick. We know that if this is all a joke the joke has now ended, on a very sour note.
"I..I..umm man..um, dude, umm Fred man I am sorry. Please, man uhh don't get pissed ok, I was aiming for AJ and he moved. It's Aj's fault" Nick stammers out to Fred.
"My fault? Carter you have to learn how to aim"
AJ yells from across the pool where he retreated after Nick sprayed Fred.
"I do know how to aim man, you just...."
"Nick?"
Nick turns and looks at Fred with fear in his eyes getting ready to dart.
"Uhhh yea Fred? Look man I didn't mean to"
Fred then smiles and puts his arm on Nicks shoulder. Nick looks at the arm and his eyes get wide cause he knows there is no way in hell he's getting away now
"It's ok man. No need to worry. It's just a little water, there is no harm done" Fred tells Nick.
We are all staring at the two not saying a word, letting the crickets do the talking for us
*Autumn POV*
"Hey are we gonna eat soon?" I ask.
Well someone had to say something.
"Yeah,"
AJ says as he goes to the grill to start cooking when Fred stops him.
"Allow me Alex."
"No man, I can handle it."
"Yeah but you go have fun and relax. Let me do everything. I'll light the fire and cook while you have some fun with your friends and girlfriend."
AJ looks at Fred.
"Durst,what in the hell is your problem?"
"No need for profanity Alex."
And with that he turns his back and starts the grill up. AJ looks at me and walks over.
"Okay...Autumn tell him to stop."
"Stop what?"
"The joke."
"I can't and I have. I can't control the pissed man."
AJ looks over at Fred again.
"Okay, everyone in the house. We have to talk."
We all start in, even Fred.
"Not you Durst. You, um, stay and work the grill."
"Thank you Alex."
*Tre POV*
We all get into our living room and start talking all at once
"What is going on..."
"Why is he acting like..."
"Tell him to quit it's getting...."
"What did you do.."
"Alright...everyone stop!" Kevin says a little loud but not loud enough to bring Fred in. "We have to figure out what's going on with Fred and everyone talking at once doesn't help. Now one at a time" He says and then sits down.
"Yes daddy Kevin" I say
"No need to be a brat Trelyn" Kevin says back to me
"Oh but why, it's so much fun to be a brat towards you" I say with a smile
"Yes I know and you do it so well"
He comes back and I stick my tongue out at him. He's about to say something else when Howie speaks up
"Ok, you guys stop it. I tell ya sometimes the two of you are worse then Frick and Frack over here"
"HEY what's that supposed to mean?" Brian asks.
"Just what I said..."
"Hello!! aren't we supposed to be figuring out what's wrong with Fred?" Autumn says stopping the bickering.
"Uh oh yea, sorry" Howie says and sits down.
"OK, now....how did this all start?" Kevin asks looking at Autumn and I.
"Well we went shopping today and when I called Fred he was fine at first and then all of a sudden he like umm...changed"
*Autumn POV*
"Yeah I can vouch for that," Tre says.
"All I know is it is scaring me. I ain't use to this," I say.
"You ain't use to it! he's being nice to ME! No..it's a plot. He's gonna get me...oh he's going to do SOMETHING to get me. I know it. it could be now it could be when I go outside.." Nick says.
We all ignore Nick for the moment.
"Well maybe we should hit him or something," Brian suggests.
"NO!" Nick screams.
"And why not," Howie ask.
"Because he'll kill me and there wouldn't be an Backstreet Boys anymore cause the sweet sexy boy would be gone. And that's me. I ain't taking that chance!"
AJ stands up.
"Wait just a minute..I'M the sexy one!"
I sit and just hit my head because of the two idiots arguing over who is more sexy. I look over to Kevin for help.
*Tre POV*
"No, I"m the sexy one. I'm the young cute hot one. If I'm gone there isn't a Backstreet anymore. The world wouldn't have the music anymore. There would be wars and and starvation. People wouldn't know what to do without Backstreet. NO you can't hit him. He'll come after me and it'll be the end of everything we know today. World chaos..."
"NICK SHUT UP!!" Kevin yells.
"Oh thank you Kevin."
I say and then can't believe I did. He looks at me and smiles. Nick sits down with a pout on his face
"Don't worry Nicky, it'll be ok" I tell him.
"No it won't Tre. You get the 'old' Fred back and it's the end of Backstreet and world harmony, I tell ya, it'll be horrible." He says with a sad expression.
"Think very highly of yourself don't ya Nickay boy?" AJ says to him.
"Well it's the truth AJe, it is"
"Well I hate to tell ya bud, but we can move on without ya. We could get Justin to take your place and then we'd have the other 'young' one in the group. So don't worry yourself so much ok?" AJ tells him with a wicked smile on his face.
Nick looks at him in shock and then gets up and runs out towards the back yard. He remembers Fred is out there and stops for a moment but then continues when he also remembers Fred is being nice to him.
"That was cruel Aje. I would expect Tre to say that, not you" Kevin says to him.
"Yea well you know, I couldn't help it"
"What in the heck do you mean 'you would expect that from Tre'?" I ask him.
"Well you are always mean to him, so you would say something like that" Kevin tells me.
"Kiss mine, Richardson" I tell him.
"OK, again this is NOT HELPING!!!" Autumn yells.
"Sorry girl" I tell her and then glare at Kevin.
*Autumn POV*
"So what can we do?" Brian asks.
We are sitting thinking when Kevin looks out the window.
"Okay..I never thought I would see this!"
We all run over to the window and then we see it: Fred is talking to Nick.
"HEY! That's suppose to be me and Durst, plotting against Nick! Wait a minute that can only mean they are plotting against me! Quick, hide my hats," AJ is yelling.
I go back and sit back down and start crying.
"Autumn, it's gonna be okay," Howie tries reassuring me.
"No it's NOT! I always kidded with Tre that I wanted a nicer Fred but I've realized I don't. I want the angry break stuff Fred. And I want him now!" I cry even harder.
"Okay, that's it. We gotta get Fred back to Fred," Tre says.
"HEY I got an idea," Kevin says.
*Tre POV*
We all look at Kevin waiting for his idea, but he doesn't say anything.
"Ok Kev, you gonna let us in on this idea or keep it to yourself?" AJ asks him.
"Shut up Aje, I'm thinking"
"Well this will take a while. Lets try to come up with something"
Brian says and Kevin looks up at him surprised. Briam smiles and I start laughing until Kevin throws a icey glare at me.
"Ok, you were talking on the phone. What happened?" Howie asks Autumn once she gets calmed down.
"Well....I heard a thud and then swearing and then it got quiet and then he got back on the phone like...all nice" She tells us.
"Hmmm maybe he hit his head or something" Brian says to us.
We all sit thinking when Kevin finally pipes up
"Ok, got it"
"Well isn't that nice, don't give it to us" I say to him.
"You know Tre one of these days I'm not going to let you come on tour with us" Kevin tells me
"Kevin...don't even go there" Aj says to him with a warning in his voice.
"Ok, ok, sorry. Ok, to my plan. From what you just said, I think he did hit his head. We need to do something to knock the nice out of Fred" Kevin tells us.
"Yea, DUH! we already know that. What do we do?" Brian asks.
We all look at Kevin as he sits back and gets a smile on his face.
"We hit him on the head again"
"WHAT?!?!?" We all yell at once*
*Autumn POV*
"And how do we do that with Nick around his new best friend," AJ asks.
"I dunno," Kevin says.
Just then, Nick and Fred walk in.
"Food's done," Nick yells.
I quickly wipe my tears and we all go out. Fred pulls everyone's chair out and we then have Brian lead prayer then we eat.
"AJ, could you pass the potatoes please," Fred ask.
"Why not just lean over and get them," AJ says.
Fred gives him this look.
"Poor table manners Alex. Maybe you should learn some?"
I have to laugh at that cause AJ, every now and then, talks with his mouth full. After we get finished, Tre and I go to take the dishes in but Fred stops us and tells us to just relax and he'll take care of the dishes. I sit in thought.
"What you thinking about Autumn?" AJ says.
"I think I'm gonna have to dump Fred for Eminem. This is scaring me."
We sit and all kinda keep to ourselves until Fred comes back out.
"I'm bored!" Nick screams.
"Wanna shoot some hoops?" Brian asks, naturally.
Nick agrees, as does Kevin and Howie.
"Come on AJ, play so Fred can," Kevin says.
AJ starts to say no but he sees this grin on Kevin's face and he knows that Kevin has a plan.
"Fred, wanna join," AJ asks nicely.
"I sure would. Thanks for asking."
"It's no problem," Brian says.
"Fred's on my team!" Nick yells.
I look at Tre.
"AJ athletic?"
"Shut up Autumn!"
*Tre POV*
I yell at her but laugh. It's true, AJ has about as much athletic ability as a 3 year old, and even then the 3 year old may have more.
"Well I guess for the 'good' of Fred, he's going to try" I tell her and we laugh.
We sit and watch the boys play and Fred makes a basket and him and Nick high five
"You know, that is very scary" I say to Autumn.
"Yea, it is. I sure hope this all ends soon. I really don't think I wanna move to Michigan"
She says and I start laughing
"Yea, I don't really see you as Em's girl. I mean, yes Fred is angry most of the time, but at least when he says he's gonna kick someones butt he really does it, not just in a song".
"True"
Nick and Fred get the ball back and AJ is blocking Nick, yea real good match there. Nick goes to toss the ball to Fred when Fred turns his back, the ball hits Fred in the head. We stare in horror as Fred goes down to the ground in a lump.
"FRED!" Autumn yells and runs over to him.
We are all gathered around him when he starts to move around. He lays on his back and looks up at us all.
"What in the freakin hell is going on? Why am I laying on the cement?"
We all look at each other and smile. Fred gets up and looks at Autumn
"Babe why in the hell was Nick Carter hovering over me?"
Autumn smiles and yells
"THANK YOU"
*Autumn POV*
"Thanks for what? Who in the hell hit me?" Fred is now screaming.
Yep, Fred's back. We are all smiling, well execpt Fred. "Well, who hit me?" We all point to Nick. Fred gets up and looks at Nick. "Carter, your ass better run within three seconds."
Nick lets out a yelp and runs out of sight. Fred just grinned.
"Damn Durst nice to see ya back!" AJ says.
"Really. The nice Fred is way better," Tre says.
"What are they talking about honey?" He asks me.
I have to make sure this is Fred.
"Fred, um, you still are giving AJ your Fight Club movie and getting the Bridges of Madison County, right?"
AJ smiles.
"HEY Fight Club! Whooo Hooo!"
*Tre POV*
"What? Why would I give little freak here my fight club movie? Hell no, man that is MINE" Fred tells us.
"Aww man that sucks" says a dejected AJ.
I laugh
"Good, I don't want that stupid movie here anyway. I already have to watch Pulp Fiction a million times a week"
"What's wrong with pulp fiction?" AJ asks me.
"Ohh nothing dear..nothing."
"Tre?"
"Yea Fred?"
"Did you just put down my movie?"
"Umm yea I think I called it stupid. I'm not sure though, could you remind me?"
"You do realize that I will have to torture you now, don't you?"
"Oh no...please not what I'm afraid of." I look at Autumn and she smiles at me and I know it's what I'm afraid of "Durst you have to catch me first" I tell him and take off towards the pool. I hear them laughing at me
"Don't worry Tre, since you and Autumn are best friends, I know we'll run into each other soon"
I sit outside next to the pool and see Nicky
"Care if I join you?" I ask him.
"Yea sure, why are you out here? Fred going to beat you up too?" He asks and I have to laugh.
"Fred isn't going to beat you up Nick"
"Yea he is, I know it. He's back and he's pissed once again."
He tells me and I have to laugh harder.
"Stop laughing at me."
"Sorry."
"So, why are you out here?"
"Freds gonna torture me" I tell him and shiver.
"Oh..uh oh, gonna play staind huh?" He asks.
"Yea..."
*Autumn POV*
I have to laugh at Tre. She knows he won't forget to play Staind next time she's over. Maybe I'll help set her up.
"Dude, I had the strangest dream."
"What's that Durst?"
"I dreamt that I was like...really nice. You know the kind that makes you sick?" Fred looks over at Howie, Brian, and Kevin. "Um, no offense."
I laugh.
"Hey, they even have their angry, pissed sides."
AJ looked at Fred.
"Dude, you're gonna hate this but..you weren't dreaming."
Fred looked at the other guys and they agreed.
"Autumn, was I really?"
"Yep baby. You were all like please and thank you. You threatened to give up your Fight Club movie and to top it all off...Nick Carter was your best friend."
"McLean?"
"Yeah Fred?"
"Gimme something to break!"
I roll my eyes.
*Tre POV*
Nick and I walk back into the house and see that everyone is laughing
"Well it's good to see they don't care if we are outside cowering in the dark, huh?" I say to Nick.
"Well actually, I don't mind if Fred forgets about me. That man can be scary as hell"
He tells me and I start laughing
"Yea he can be. I'll tell you a secret Nick."
"What?"
"Just ask him when he's going to come out of the closet. He'll laugh and you'll be great friends" I tell him with a smile.
I know it was mean and I do truly love Nick, but sometimes he is a TRUE blonde.
"Really?"
"Yea, really"
We get to the living room and all eyes are on us.
"Hey sweetie, have fun outside?" AJ asks me.
"Oh yea, it was a blast. Sitting there wondering when I'm going to have to endure Staind, the torture group of the century" I tell him with sarcasm.
"I don't know why you hate that song"
"It's a long story" I tell him and sit down next to him.
Nick looks at me and I give him a encouraging smile.
"Hey Fred"
"Yea, Carter?"
"Umm, I was wondering something"
"What's that?"
"When you coming out of the closet"
Fred looks up at him then back to us then stands up. Nick looks at me
"Tre?"
I smile innocently at him
"Run now Nicky" I tell him.
He bolts out of the house a second time and I laugh. Fred looks over at AJ
"McLean, nevermind finding me something to break....I just found it"
He tells him and then takes off after Nick. We can hear Nicks screams echoing through the neighborhood.
*Autumn POV*
I sigh, knowing only I can stop Fred.
"Good move Tre. Really wanting the world to be chaos without the sexy one?" I say the last part in sarcasm.
"For the last time, I'm the sexy one!" AJ screams.
"AJ..calm down. Everyone knows I'm the sexy one," Kevin says.
Tre and I laugh really hard
"Whatever. I'm Sweet D," Howie says.
I turn and look at Brian.
"What? I'm married. I can't be that sexy."
Before I could hear anything else, I go in search of Fred and find him.
"Come on baby, forget about Nick."
"I can't believe he had the ..." I kiss Fred and smile. "Damn what was that for?"
"For being you. Now, let me go talk Tre into taking us home."
Fred can see the twinkle in my eye and he laughs. We take off and see Nick, hiding behind a trash can. Fred stops and turns to look at Nick. Nick lets a yelp out and I laugh.
"Carter I will Kick your ass," Fred says.
Good to have him back !
