Tre and I got talking about food and Frosy's were mentioned. Both of us wanted one but the nearest Wendy's was closing soon.
"Hey Tre, let's go to Cali for one."
She laughed. "Why Cali?"
"Well, it is early there plus we can party."
"Okay," she said and we soon went to the nearest airports and bought our tickets.
We board the plane and I roll my eyes because, AGAIN, I get the isle seat. I beg Autumn for the window
"Pllleeeaaassseee Autumn, let me have the window." she laughs at me
"No way, Tre, I know what happens on the isle."
I give her my best puppy dog look and she rolls her eyes
"That isn't gonna work on me girl, the only one who gets away with the puppy dog look on me is Howie. Sit!" she tells me.
'Damn' I think to myself and sit down and cringe when I see the lady coming around asking if anyone wants a drink.
As the cart goes by, Tre lucks out and the cart doesn't hit her. She smiles really big and I laugh while I look out the window. man, I wish we would hurry up. The kid behind me is yelling and kicking my seat and if he don't stop it....maybe I should have switched seats with Tre.
"Tre, want to switch seats now? I mean, clouds get boring after a while."
I turn and look at Autumn when she asks me if I want to switch seats and I smile cause I finally get the window seat (YAY doing a jig). We are just about to switch seats when I hear a mother telling her child
"Joey, you need to quit kicking that poor girls seat, you are annoying her"
I look to the back of Autumns seat and there is this little chubby boy smiling fiercely and bouncing up and down with his feet connecting to the back of Autumns seat
'uh huh now I know what the deal is' I think. "No thanks Autumn, I think I'll stick to the isle this time" I tell her and smile when I see her shocked expression.
She is about to give me the puppy dog look but realizes it will work on me about as well as mine did on her and she turns around and glares at the boy when he kicks her chair again.
"Look kid do that again and I will have the FAT ONE of nsync find you and sit on you, GOT IT!" she says to him in a very serious tone.
I see the kids eyes get wide and he looks at her then his mom and he finally sits back and looks innocently out the window. I laugh and look at Autumn and she has a victorious grin on her face and turns and stares out at the clouds again.
We finally land and Tre and I argue over what kind of car to get and who is driving. Since I drive like an idiot, I decide to let Tre drive. We start to a Wendy's and see they are open 24/7. We smile because we can go and party for a little while. Tre drives and I play with the radio. "Pop" plays and we both scream in terror. I turn the station in time to hear a song from the 80's. Tre begs me to leave it and I do. I have to listen to her sing "Living on a Prayer" by Bon Jovi. I laugh at her while she drives and sings.
I"m singing at the top of my lungs a bon jovi tune from the 80's and I know I'm annoying Autumn but HEY, it's a great song. The song is finally over and turn the radio down
"So Autumn where u wanna go party at? You feel like hip-hop, retro, rock-n-roll?? What?" I ask.
"Hmm well I don't know Tre, maybe we can get lucky and find a club that does all of them then we can both be happy." She says to me and a I nod my head in agreeance.
We drive down LA and see this club that seems to be the place to be so we go (gotta be where the peeps be ya know). I park the car and we go and stand in line. while standing there a limo pulls up and everyone is craning their necks to see who it is. A bunch of screams are suddenly heard and we strain even harder to see.
'Ok, I know I didn't just see who I think I saw' I think to myself.
I look at Autumn and she is turning to look at me with eyes open wide (hehehe) and I know then that I saw who I thought I saw.
"Oh my gosh, Tre did u just see them??? It was AJ and Howie" She says to me.
"No way Autumn, we have to be seeing things. Stuff like that don't happen to people like us" I say to her.
She grins like a Cheshire cat
"Oh yea, I know what I saw Tre and that was Aj and Howie."
I get a huge grin on my face (like the child who got the last cookie but won't admit to it) and we anxiously await getting into the club
After waiting for what seemed forever, we get into the club. Man, Hot guys galore! Tre and I are looking and don't seem to pay any attention to where we are going as we run smack onto some guys.
"Oh my gosh, we are sooo sorry" Autumn says to the guys we ran into"
"Oh that's ok, no harm done" said a raspy voice.
Upon hearing that voice my head jerked up so fast I thought I might get whip lash. There in front of us, the guys we ran into (smack head *mental note* when walking through club watch were you are going)are Howie and AJ!!
'Okay, do I consider this luck or stupidity', I think.
I turn and look at Tre and she has this look on her face.
"Are you girls alright?" AJ ask.
"Yeah, I think so,"Tre replys.
I turn my head and am looking right into Howie's eyes.
"Oh man, I say this is luck" I whisper.
"Did you say something?" Howie ask.
"Yeah, I said I am in luck because I'm okay." I begin to think he bought it.
After Autumn says that Howie gets this smile on his face
"Well I'm glad luck is with you and your ok" He says to her.
Autumn smiles and looks up at him again and opens her mouth to say something but closes it again (DAMN them brown eyes will do it to you everytime, I'm telling you!!) and then looks down again.
"So are you sure your ok?" I hear AJ ask me.
I look at him and smile
"OH yea, as luck will have it I'm fine thanks." Ok, now that sounded dumb I think to my self and mentally smack myself.
Howie clears his throat and is still looking at Autumn
"So, can I buy you a drink?" He asks her.
She looks at him and shakes her head
"Yea, I'd like that" and they walk towards the bar.
"Would you like to join them for a drink or may I wisk you away to the dance floor?" AJ asks me and I wanna faint right there but thankfully my knees don't give out
"Uh, a dance would be great" I say and he takes my hand and leads me to the floor
Howie asks me what I would like to drink and I say an Eden's Apple. He orders that and his drink and then he leads me to a table and we begin to talk. I glance out and see AJ and Tre dancing to a fast song but then it turns slow. I watch AJ put his arms around Tre and they begin to slow dance. I bet she is loving that. The waitress brings us our drinks. I am so nervous that I spill mine.
"I'm sorry," I tell Howie.
Howie smiles at me
"It's ok, we all have accidents."
I smile at Howie grateful that he is being so kind about what happened.
"Oh look Autumn you got some on your shirt. Here let me wipe that off for you"
Howie offers with a smile that happenend to be met back with one from me.
I am watching Howie and Autumn from where AJ and I are on the dance floor and smile
'Gee could the night get any better?' I think when I feel warm breathe on my neck
"How about you and I go sit down and get to know one another better" AJ says to me.
The breathe, although warm, gave me chills down my spine, I mean this is AJ! I look into his gorgeous brown eyes and shake my head yes and he takes my hand and leads me off the dance floor.
I watch as Howie stops cleaning the drink off my shirt and he looks at me.
"There you go Autumn," he says.
"Thanks, but you didn't have to do that." (OMG, did I just say that?)
Howie orders me another Eden's Apple as AJ and Tre come back to the table.
"Have fun Tre?" I ask.
The look on her face answers me. I grin and start to tease her but decide not to. AJ and Howie excuse themselves to go to the bathroom, so Tre and I are alone and start to talk.
I get this big grin on my face when I look at Autumn after the guys leave the table
"Soooo Autumn...did Howie clean you well?" I ask her.
She slowly looks at me and I can see she is grinning ear to ear and I was afraid I would have to help her through the door, her smile was so wide
"Oh My GOSH TRE!" she says loudly and I laugh "He, he wiped off my drink and he was soo sweet and OMG he touched me!" She tells me.
"Yes I know, I saw." I tell her.
"You saw? But you and AJ looked pretty darn cozy out there on the floor, how did you see?" she asks me.
"Well when the slow dance started and AJ wrapped his arms around me"
I stop and stare at Autumn and she looks at me
"Tre?? hello are you there?" she asks but her voice sounds far away.
I snap out of it
"Autumn?" I say.
"Yea Tre?"
"Did I just say 'when AJ wrapped his arms around me?'"I ask her.
She starts laughing at me because she realizes it just hit me that I was out on the dance floor with AJ's arms around me.
"Yes Tre you were" She tells me.
"Oh my gosh!!!"
We sit there and both are giggling like school girls when we spot the guys coming back.
"We have to stop grinning Tre," I say and she nods.
"So," AJ ask, "did we miss anything."
"Nope," I say still trying not to laugh. Man, it is so hard to comtain yourself when stuff like this happens.
The music picks back up and Howie ask me if I want to dance.
"Well," I say. Tre then ribs me.(and it hurt like hell) "Sure" I say."
Howie and I leave AJ and Tre alone.
Howie and I are out slow dancing and I can't believe how close we are to each other. I place my head on Howie's shoulder and he looks down at me.
"Oh, I'm sorry. This bother you?" I ask.
"No. It's fine." He says.
I smile and then I hear my stomach rumble. Guess not eating has caught up with me.
"Autumn, you okay?"
I look up at Howie. "yeah, just a little hungry. I'll manage."
Howie takes a great interest in that.
"Well, you do need to eat. How about I take you to get something?"
Wow.. this could be great.
"I'll take you anyplace you want." Howie says.
Then I remember why Tre and I made the trip.
"Anywhere?"
"Yeah."
"Okay, but Tre has to come too, and we will have to take AJ."
Howie laughs and we head towards the table.
AJ and I are so engrossed in our 'conversation' that we don't notice Howie and Autumn back at the table.
"hmmm"
I hear and reluctantly turn away from AJ
"Oh uhh yea you two. Whats up?" I ask and AJ chuckles and pulls me in tighter to him.
Autumn raises her eyebrows at this and I just smile.
"Well we are sorry for interrupting you two but I offered to take Autumn here to get something to eat and we were wondering if you two would like to tear yourselves away from here and come along." Howie tells us smiling.
I look up at Autumn and she says one word "Frosty" and I smile and look at AJ
"What'd ya say, wanna go get something to eat?" I ask.
"Uhh sure, if that is what you would like to do"
I look up at Autumn and her and Howie are no longer paying attention to us, only to each other.
"Excuse me guys" I say and they look at me. Yea we'd like to go along" I tell them
"Ok, lets head out" Howie says.
AJ and I get up and AJ falls in step with Howie and me with Autumn
"So...how's it going?" I ask her.
She looks at me and she has the happiest look on her face I have ever seen her have before and that is all I need
"Good. Same here" I tell her and we both laugh.
"Wait guys." Autumn says. "Tre and I have a car here. Should we follow you?" She asks.
The guys stop and start to think.
"Why don't AJ ride with Tre and you can ride with me, Autumn." Howie suggests.
I am very extremely happy at this suggestion, as is Autumn, and we all quickly agree. AJ holds his hand out for the keys and I roll my eyes but give him them anyway. I turn around to see where Autumn and Howie are but they are no where to be seen.
"Boy them two sure do disappear alot" I tell AJ and he just laughs and opens my door for me
As we head out I remember something.
"Wait...AJ and Howie came in the limo. I think we all best ride togther." (I might be a blonde but I ain't that stupid)
AJ looked at me. "You have a point."
AJ and tre are riding in the front while Howie and I are in the back. At one point Tre is changing stations and she stops it on a station that begins to play O-Town.
"Tre, change it" I say and she does with out a pause.
"So, where are we eating?" Howie ask.
At the same time Tre and I say "Wendy's".
"D, that was the scariest thing I have ever heard," AJ said. "They said it at the same time."
Autumn and I laugh at what AJ says and I glance back and smile and then we both look at the guys
"Intelligent minds think alike" we say and they look at us
"Ok, now I'm officially scared, D" AJ says and then him and Howie bust up laughing.
Autumn and I look at each other and then join in.
'I guess it's a good thing we didnt' tell them about the brain waves connecting IL and KY' I think to myself when Autumn pops up
"I guess it's a good thing we didn't tell them about the brain waves connecting IL and KY, huh Tre?"
Howie and Aj laugh harder at that and I just turn around and look at Autumn with a look
"Oh no Tre, you did not just think that same thing." I look at her and smile
"Oh yes Autumn, I did"
We sit there looking at each other and then bust up into another fit of laughter. AJ and Howie look at each other
"You know Aje, this is scary."
Aj looks at howie shaking his head
"You know D, I was just going to say that."
Somehow Autumn and I hear this and can't help but continue laughing.
"Ok ok" I finally get out "My sides hurt now. We have to stop or I'll bust a rib." I tell Autumn
"I know I know" she says and then we look at each other and then at the boys and the looks on their faces throw us into another fit.
We finally get ourselves controlled and apologize to them.
"Sorry guys, we have had a long day and nothing to eat. Please forgive the goofiness" Autumn tells them but looking at Howie who smiles and gives her a gentle kiss
"There is nothing to forgive my lovely Autumn"
I hear this and feel a giggle coming up (I hate it when that happens) AJ sees this and has a feeling at whats gonna happen
"Oh no you are not going there again" He says to me and quickly gives me a kiss to stop the laughter.
Needless to say...the laughter stops and the kiss deepends. Autumn and Howie are not aware of this because they are engaged in their own kiss of passion
I stop kissing Howie and see AJ and Tre kissing.
"Hey! Eyes on the road or we will wreck," I say. (Well I don't want to wreck!)
AJ apologizes for it. Soon we arrive at Wendy's and decide to get it to go and head back to the hotel rooms with the guys. We all pick our orders out and Tre and I get Large frostys, plus a meal.
We decide to hang out while we are eating the food and head to Howie's room to watch some tv while eating. AJ and I sit on the floor and Autumn and Howie sit on the bed. A scary movie comes on and even though the plan was to separate after the food was gone we watched the rest of the movie (we missed half of it, I hate that too) while Autumn and I eat our Frosty's. AJ and Howie let it be known that they want some. (FROSTY'S you gutter minded ppl..geesh)
I look at Tre and laugh. "Tre, ever have a guy ask you for some?" (THE FROSTY...damn gutterminds)She laughed.
"Why can't guys get their own?" She asked between laughs.
"Because it's better if it is shared," AJ says.
I sit and laugh and tell Tre we can't do it and they should have got their own. Both of them look at us with the puppy dog eyes. We try fighting but we cave in.
I dip my spoon in my frosty and hold it up for AJ to take it. He looks at me with a question in his eyes and I smile innocently
"Go ahead AJ. I won't offer it again, better take it while it's out there for you to grab" I tell him and his eyes get wide and again I smile innocently.
I look up at Autumn and she puts her two pointer fingers up on her head, our signal for the horns holding up our halos (thou Autumn never seems to admit to the horns) and I try to hold in my laughter. Howie is watching all this
"I think I would like to feed myself" he tells Autumn but she grins
"Whats wrong Howie, don't trust me?"
As she asks that I take the spoon that I was holding out for AJ and put it in my mouth and laugh at the look on his face. Autumn just continues to look at Howie waiting her answer
Howie looks back at me.
"Well, you two do think alike and how do I know you aren't thinking about doign that to me?"
"Good point D,"AJ says.
I look at Tre and frown. I smile and wink at her.
"Ouch, that hurt me. I won't move the spoon."
I put the spoon in the frosty and remove it with plenty ice cream on it. I wait for Howie to take some but quickly jump up. He looks back at me.
"See?" Tre laughs. "Howie, she didn't move the spoon she moved herself." I laugh as Tre does the horn gesture.
Howie looks wounded and we keep laughing but then he gives Autumn the puppy dog look and she caves.
"I'm sorry Howie, but it's her fault, she influences me to do these things" She tells him and my mouth drops open
"Me? what, huh? how'd oh geesh" is all that comes out and they all laugh at me and I pout.
"Ahhh my Tre upset now?"
Aj asks me and I smile a little but then remember to pout and shake my head yes. Autumn, who saw the smile laughed.
"Well then I suggest we work our hardest to take that pout off them gorgeous lips" AJ says to me and I just melt.
We say night to Howie and Autumn and he helps me off the floor and we start to walk out.
"Oh wait, AJ" I tell him and walk back and get my frosty. He looks at me questioningly "Hey you never know when ice cream will come in handy"
He looks confused and then gets it and gets a huge smile on his face. Hand in Hand we walk out the door and into his room.
Howie and I say goodbye to Tre and AJ. As I close the door I say,
"Great...I'm stuck with a visual I didn't want to know about." Howie smiles and walks over to me.
"Autumn, I have an idea. How about we finish that Frosty together then I'll get that visual out of your head and give you a visual you would love."
I look at Howie, look down, look back up and smile.
"Howie, I would love that." Howie pulls me away from the door and kisses me.
