(Autumn POV)
"Blue's Clues!!!: Nick yells. He sits and starts watching it with great interest. "I'm solving it this time! You can't trick me. OHHH there is a clue...there..NO THERE!"
Nick starts pointing at the screen and clapping once Steve finds the clue.
Kevin pulls us all aside. "Guys, something isn't right about Nick. Sure he is silly but not this silly."
We all agree. "Yeah last night he kept getting confused about stuff."
"And what is new about that?" AJ asked.
Brian looked at AJ. "AJ, he had a problem saying the word buffet. This isn't Nick."
"You think it's stress?" I asked.
"Can't be. When exactly did he start acting weird?" Klyn said.
We all sat and began to think while Nick got singing "We just got a letter!" with Steve and Blue.
(Klyn POV)
"Mail mail, we got mail" we hear coming from the tv and also Nick who is singing right along with it.
"You know he started acting wierd right after the concert last night" Brian said to us.
"Oh yea that's right. He started singing on the van." Howie said.
"Yea and the thing about the 'pretty buttons' on the elevator" Autumn says.
I start busting up laughing remembering Nicks face while he pushed all the 'pretty little buttons'. Kevin and Brian shoot me a dirty look so I do my best to control my laughing. That is until I hear
"sit down in our thinking chair and think..think..thiiink"
and then I can't help but bust up laughing. AJ is trying to calm me down before Kevin jumps over the little table and shoves his hand over my mouth. I get a little calmed down until I look at Kevin and I can tell he is mad but I can't help but laugh because his eyebrows are pressed together and well I say the first thing that comes to mind
"Hey look, Kevy has caterpillars on his forehead" and I burst into a laughing fit.
Well Kevin didn't find it funny and Aj noticed this and grabbed my hand and pulled me to where the bunks are
"Here baby why don't you lay down and get some sleep" He tells me.
I yawn and give him a kiss "Ok, Aj. Night I love you"
"I love you too Klyn" He tells me.
Before he is out of the bunk area I bust up laughing again saying out loud so he can hear me
"We really should name them"
He stifles a laugh as he gets to the table "Sorry umm, she didn't get much sleep last night." I hear him say
"I don't even wanna know why" Kevin says to him and I have this vision of his eyebrows moving on his forehead and they hear me laughing again
(Autumn POV)
Klyn goes back and gets some sleep as Nick comes over to me.
"Autumn?"
"Yes Nick?"
"Okay like i was in the mall and stuff and there was like a 1/2 off sale at the limited right? Okay so anyways I went in and found this really super cool shirt for just like 10 bucks! So I was like okay and I took it to the register and they were all like 'Okay this is 5 bucks' and i was all like 'But the tag says 10' and they were like 'but its half off so its 5' and i was all like 'ooohhhh...' i still dont get it but 5 bucks for 1 shirt is better than 10, right?"
I bit my lip. "Yes Nick it is."
"COOL! Hey Autumn you want to sing a song with me?"
"I guess."
Nick tries to sing the beginning of "Bootylicious" but can't remember it.
"Um Nick... I'm tired. I'm goin to lay down, okay?"
"NOOOO you can't!"
I look at him. "Why not?"
Nick get this thinking lok on his face. "I forgot." He then goes off and starts bugging Howie.
(Klyn POV)
I wake up to a very noisy bus, well one person is noisy...Nick. I can hear him singing some song but I can't quite make out what he is singing. I get up out of mine and Aj's bunk and head to the living area. I see Kevin sitting at the table and instantly feel bad for what I said earlier
"Hey Kev" I say to him and he barely acknowledges me 'wow sensitive aint we?' I think to myself. I sit down next to him and sigh "Look, I'm sorry for what I said earlier, I was really tired. Aj kept me up most of the night and..."
"I don't even wanna know what Aj was doing to keep you up" He says to me with a smile.
I laugh at him "No, we were playing pool, silly."
"Uh huh"
"NO, really we were" I tell him and kinda give him a little push and he laughs and puts his arm around me
"It's ok Klyn, I forgive you. It's all good"
"Ok, good Kev cause I feel bad for saying what I did"
We hug and he tells me not to feel bad anymore that all is forgiven. I smile at him and tell him good I'm glad. I get up and head over to where Nick is, who is now quiet and intently watching a tv program. I look up and see he is watching a cartoon and I have to roll my eyes when all of a sudden he starts saying something along with the program
'I wish I wish with all my heart to fly with dragons in a land apart'
'Well I can see nothings changed in here' I think to myself as I head to the back of the bus to see what Aj, Autumn and Howie are doing
(Autumn POV)
I'm reading when I hear Klyn come in. "Sup girl?" I say.
"Nothing."
Howie and Aj sit playing cards and are so into the game they don't see Klyn. I look at Klyn and put my finger over my lip and wad up two things of paper and nail AJ and Howie with them.
"HEY!" they say.
Klyn laughs and they notice her.
"Hey Klyn," Howie says.
AJ smiles. "Hey baby. Sleep good?"
"I guess." They start to kiss and get interruppted by Nick.
(Klyn POV)
"GUYS!!" Nick yells after he sticks his head in the door way.
"DAMN IT NICK" AJ yells after him and I jump and hit our heads.
"What?" He asks innocently.
I can tell Aj would love to throttle Nick so I push Aj back in the chair "What did you need, Nick?" I ask him as I sit on Ajs lap, no better way to keep Aj down then with a woman in his lap!
"Well I'm watching this coooool cartoon that has dragons and I wanted to know if you guys wanted to watch with me?"
I can hear the others moan and I stifle a laugh
"No, Nick we wouldn't like to watch the dragons with you" Aj tells him.
"Oh. Man you guys are missing a great one tho. These dragons can fly and there's this 2-headed one named Zak and Weasy and and these two kids like say a rhyme and then they go to dragon land and and and, it's really cool!" He tells us all excided.
"Look, Nick why don't you go back out there so you don't miss anything" Autumn tells him trying really hard not to laugh.
"OH ok, but I was hoping you guys would come watch. Kev threw paper at me when I asked him to and Bri is sleeping. Oh well, I'll watch anyway" He turns around and heads back to the tv part of the bus.
We are all sitting there watching him shaking our heads
"You know guys" Howie says "We gotta figure out what to do about him"
"Yea we do, this is getting scary." Aj tells us.
Autumn and I look at each other "Getting?" we say at once
(Autumn POV)
"Yeah but not as scary as you two sharing a brain," AJ says kidding.
"Okay, tonight we have a meeting and decide what to do about Nick." Howie says.
"Okay."
We hear Nick laughing. Then we hear his start screaming "NOOOOOOO!!!!!"
We jump out an head over to Nick. "Nick, what's wrong?" Klyn asks.
"I lost my sunglasses!"
I start to laugh.
"Nick, um, they are on your head," AJ says.
"OHHH YEAH! Thanks AJ! I'm getting hungry. Can we stop and get some of those things?"
'What things?' I wonder.
"You know, thosethings you eat with hamburgers. You dip them in that red stuff."
"French fries?" Howie says.
'Yeah! I'd like to have some of those right about now and a toy in the happy meals! STOP STOP FOOD FOOD," Nick begins to chant.
(Klyn POV)
"What is up with all the noise" Brian yells walking out of the bunk area.
"Me hungry Bri, me want food. Will you get me food?" Nick whines at Brian.
"I'll get ya anything to make you quit your yelling" Brian says to him trying to walk past him.
"Where you going?" Nick asks him.
"Going to tell the driver to stop at the next fast food restaurant" Bri tells him and then disappears behind the little curtain.
"NOOOOOO" Nick all of a sudden yells
"What in the hell is wrong now?" Aj asks annoyed.
Nicks sniffing and pointing at the curtain "The the thing there ate my bestest friend. It ate Brian"
He breaks down crying and leans on Howie, which Howie wasn't ready for, he was just as in shock as the rest of us, and Howie and Nick fall on the couch
"Get off of me you big idiot" Howie yells at him.
Nick looks up at Howie with frightened blue eyes "But but Howie Brian is gone"
"He's not gone stupid, he went to talk to the driver. Get a grip would you. This is ridicules" Howie yells and stomps to the back of the bus mumbling.
Autumn and I are watching all this trying really hard not to laugh and so far we have suceeded, well that is until
"But Howie...what if the curtain comes alive and eats us all....then what would my mom say?"
I know that if I laugh, I'll be getting some hard, evil stares so I hold my laughter in and run past the curtain. I then hear Nick again screaming. I sit in the back and just laugh and soon Klyn comes back there and laughs.
"Autumn, this is soo funny."
"I know. Hey, I just had an idea. Remember all those times Nick pulled pranks on us?" Klyn nods. "How about a little fun?"
"Autumn! How dare you take advantage of Nick's situation to pull pranks on him."
I sigh. "You're right."
"Whoa, hold on! I agree we should have some fun with this"
We suddenly stop and after hearing Nick and AJ yelling, we know we are at a McDonald's. I look out and see a Burger King.
I smile. "Klyn, if AJ asks... tell him I went for a short walk."
I grab my purse and get off the bus and head towards BK as I hear Nick yelling about the toy he wants.
(Klyn POV)
I'm not quite sure what Autumn is up to but I have an idea.
"Nick would you calm down please" Kevin says to him.
"But I can't Kevy I want a car in my happy meal"
Nick says and I remember the last incident with the hot wheels car and almost bust up laughing but when I get a look from Aj letting me know he remembers too, I stop myself. Nick walks up to the person taking orders and talking really loud says
"I want a hamburger happy meal please, with a hot wheels car."
"Oh gosh" I hear Brian moan.
"I'm sorry sir but we aren't having hot wheels this month. We have toys from the movie Dumbo" The lady tells him.
Nick stands there staring at her and the all of a sudden "NOOOOO YOU HAVE TO HAVE HOT WHEELS! I WANT A HOT WHEEL AND I WANT IT NOW!!" He yells and everyone in the place turns and looks at us.
"Ok, now that was embarassing" I say in Aj's ear.
"Damn straight"
"Look Nick get the food so we can get back on the bus" Brian tells him.
"No I want a hot wheel car" He stubbornly tells him.
I can see Kevins neck turning red and tap Aj on the shoulder and point at Kev
"Look" I tell him
"Uh oh...looks like good ol Kev's gonna blow" He says and we both laugh.
"Hey guys have you seen Autumn?" Howie asks.
"Yea, she'll be right back, How" I tell him.
"Oh, uhhh ok" He says back confused.
I turn my attention back to Kev and see him walking up to Nick
"Look Nick, I've about had enough of this. Get your food and get it now and get your ass back on the bus"
"But Kev I want a car" Nick whines at him, seeminly oblivious to Kevins anger.
"I'll buy you a damn hot wheel car. Get your crap together NOW!" He tells him in his ear.
Nick orders his food and we walk out and meets Autumn as she is getting to the bus.
(Autumn POV)
I see the guys coming back and I don't want to have AJ see what I have, so I quickly go into the back.
"Autumn!!! Wait for me!!!" nick yells. He catches up with me and sits down and plays with his Dumbo toy. "Autumn, why can't elephants fly like Dumbo?"
"I dunno Nick," I say as I get out my Burger King food. Nick's jaw drops and i can tell he is about to scream but i stop him. "Nick, see this quarter?" Nick caught glance of it.
"Yeah?" he said grinning.
"Well, I'll give it to you if you go out and let me eat. Oh and you can't tell AJ I have this food from BK. Deal?"
Nick smiles and grabs his happy meal and holds his hand out for the quarter ( LOL actually it was a nickel, but hey he won't know the difference!) He happily goes out and joins the guys as I take my time in eating my food from Burger King.
(Klyn POV)
I look up as Nick walks out from the back of the bus and I see him playing with something in his hand
"Hey Nick, whatcha got?" I ask him
"Huh? Ohh a shiney thing that Autumn gave me"
"A shiney thing huh?"
"Yea, but I don't remember what it is called but it's pretty and shiney."
He tells me and all the guys moan when they hear him. I get up and start to head back to the bus when I smell something other McDonalds food
'ohhh girl if you are caught you are soo in trouble' I think to myself
"Hey baby, where ya going?" Aj asks me before I get to the back.
"Oh just seeing what Autumn is up to" I tell him.
"Oh well lets go" He says and starts to go in the back.
I grab his arm and pull him to me "Uhh well sweetie, Autumn and I were gonna do some girl talk. Now you know you don't wanna be part of that." I tell him and give him a kiss.
He smiles at me when we break apart "Well yea that is true I don't want to listen to you and my sis talk about how cute my butt is or how wonderful Howie's arms are." He says and I laugh
"Yes well, who says we always talk about you?" I ask him.
"Oh now baby I'm hurt" he tells me and I laugh at him.
"You and your ego will survive baby"
I tell him and start to head to the back when he grabs me from behind and turns me around and kisses me passionatly. We break apart and I'm just staring at him
"Wow honey, save that 'til we get to the motel" I tell him and he laughs
"Yea well I just gave you something to talk about" and then walks away.
I laugh and shake my head and then finally get to the back where Autumn is "Hey girly" I say to her.
"FGAYEHEY" she says back.
I start laughing "Oh really. Now could you say that in English and not in whopper?" I ask her
(Autumn POV)
I almost spit out my food. "I said hey. Are you done eating?"
"Yep and looks like you want to get into some trouble with your die hard McDonald's brother."
"Hey, what he don't know won't hurt him. Oh and I heard what AJ said. Please, no talking about his body while I eat or else I'll sing that certain song." I see Tre cringe.
"Oh, okay...I guess. So you gave Nick a nickle?"
I nodded while I ate. "Yep, he thinks it is a quarter. Gave it to him to keep his mouth shut."
"Well, good luck."
I nodded and then I plainly hear Nick.
"AJ! I got a secret..want to know it?"
I look at Kyln, wide eyed. "He wouldn't!"
Klyn looks back at me. "I dunno but you better shove that food in your mouth quickly cause if he does, you know AJ."
(Klyn POV)
"What is it Nick?" We hear Aj ask.
"Oh crap"
Autumn says and starts to shove the whopper in her mouth. I can't help but laugh at her, she looks funny what can I say.
"Well someone, I can't say who tho cause Autumn gave me a shiney thing to be quiet, but someone is not eating mcdonalds."
I look at Autumn and her eyes get big "I'm funna hweurt dath itdiot" she says with a mouth full of food and I start laughing.
She looks at me with pleading eyes and I know she wants me to help her
"Nu uh no way girly, you are not getting me in trouble with your bro. Last time he found out I ate BK with you I had to hear about it for a month" I tell her.
"Who Nick? Who is not eating the wonderful food of McDonalds?" we hear Aj ask.
"Ooohhh the person who gave me this shiney thing" Nick tells Aj.
"AUTUMN!" Aj yells.
"OH shit" Autumn says
(Autumn POV)
I jump up and lock the door while trying to eat what was crammed in my mouth while Klyn sat laughing. Aj began to beat on the door.
"AUTUMN LET ME IN!"
"Autumn isn't in right now but if you leave a message after the beep, she'll get back to you, um, unless you want to kill her."
"Autumn let me in or I will break this door down."
"Klyn! Stop laughing!" Well, instead of her stopping she just laughed harder. "Howie, Kevin" I yelled. "Calm AJ down!" I think that Nick is so going to pay for this, sane or not.
(Klyn POV)
I'm laughing so hard my stomach is hurting but I can't help it. Autumn is shoving food down her throat faster then she can chew and has this horrified look on her face. I know I should try to help but I can't help it, she knows how Aj is about McDonalds.
"Aj, Aj, calm down man." We hear Kevin say on the other side of the door.
"NO! my own sister is eating....Burger King. How, why would she?"
He asks and I can't believe how passionate he is about his McDonalds. I hear the guys trying to sooth him and I can't help but laugh cause it's just, well, hilarious. This is all over fast food.
"KLYN!" gets yelled at me, not by one but 3 people.
"Sorry guys but damn this is funny." I tell them.
"No it's not. You could at least attempt to help your best friend." Autumn says to me sarcasticaly.
"Well if said best friend wouldn't put herself in these predicements, I wouldn't have to help her" I retorte back.
"KLYN!" she yells at me.
"Ok, Ok. I'll talk to him" I tell her.
"Oh thank you" she sighs.
So I unlock the door and head over to Aj and start to talk to him trying to calm him down.
(Autumn POV)
Howie comes back to check on me as soon as Klyn goes out.
"Baby what were you thinking? You know how AJ is."
"Yeah, but I was thinking I could get away with it. " Howie laughed. "It isn't FUNNY!"
"Okay, it's not..sorry."
Nick then comes to the back. "Nick, give me my nick..quarterback."
"What I do?"
"YOU told!"
Nick shook his head. "No I didn't."
"Well, who did? Only you knew and I knew and I know I didn't tell. So who does that leave Nick?"
Nick motioned for me to come over to him. He whispered in my ear.
"The curtain told...shhhh."
Howie rolled his eyes and so did I. Nick walked out and I was about to go after him when Howie pulled me back down.
"Autumn, listen why don't you and I just sit back here and be alone? I know that AJ probably don't want to talk to you right now."
"Yeah because he is CRAZY," I say a little loud so he can hear me.
Howie then puts his arms around me and I force a smile. "Now that's better."
(Klyn POV)
Aj and I are laying in our bunk and I'm trying to calm him down when we hear
"...CRAZY" yelled from the back.
I feel Aj tense up so I wrap my arms around him tighter
"Now Aj, leave it go. You know you get a little crazy when people eat other fast food then McDonalds" I tell him.
"I know but but my own sister" he whines. I do my best to stifle a laugh but he hears it "It's not funny, Klyn" he says and I know he's getting mad so I try to change the subject.
"So honey, what color are you going to dye your hair this time?" I ask him.
He rolls his eyes "You can't change the subject" he tells me
"Oh, well can't blame a girl for trying" I tell him.
All of a sudden Nick pops his head in the curtain we had closed and we jump
"Dang it Nick, you gotta stop doing that" I tell him as I rub my head cause I bumped it on the roof of the bunk.
He giggles "Sorry"
Aj rolls his eyes and looks at him waiting for him to tell us what he wants.
"Well Nick? What do you want?" Aj asks him.
"Huh?" he responds.
"Oh gosh" aj says.
"Why did you pop your head in here?" I ask him.
"Ohhh I heard you asking Aj what color he should dye his hair" Nick says
"Yea?" Aj asks while laying back down
"Well you should color it a shiney pretty color. Ohh like the lights on the elevator, now that would be pretty" Nick says.
"Nick get your freaking face out of my bunk"Aj yells and hits him on top of the head.
"Ouch Aj, that wasn't nice. I gonna tell Kevin"
"You go right ahead and do that, you freak" Aj yells after him. I'm laughing "oh so you like that huh?"
"Oh yea baby, I can see your head all shiney and pretty." I tell him.
He rolls over and is laying on top of me now.
"Yea I'll show you something shiney and pretty" he says and then kisses me.
We hear someone go by and say
"Oh gosh go get a room"
(Autumn POV)
Howie and I are caught up in our own little word until we hear a knock on the door.
"Guys, we are at the hotel. All off the bus."
I let out a moan because I was having fun. "man, I hope AJ don't try to chock me out while we unload."
"Hey,"Howie said, "I say Klyn will work her magic and AJ will let it go this time and then tomorrow you two will be out shopping for..whatever."
I sat up. "It would be nice to have a new hat, and shoes, and outfits..."
Howie laughed. "Well, if you and your brother go, you'll be set."
Howie helps me up and we exit the bus. Nick is lifting his bag.
"Autumn?"
"What Nick?"
"How do I get into the hotel?"
"Use the door Nick. That simple enough?"
"Um, Yeah. Thanks."
I look over at Klyn and she sticks her tongue out at me. I reply by doing the same thing back. She shakes her head and laughs.
(Klyn POV)
"What ya laughing at baby?" AJ asks me when he hands me my overnight bag.
"Oh, your sister" I tell him. He gets this look on his face and I knew I said the wrong thing 'gosh he just needs to get over the bk vs. Mcdonalds thing' I think to myself.
He was going to say something but Nick walked by and tripped over the bags AJ had just gotten out of the bus
"Damnit Nick, watch where you're going." He yells at him.
"Man I'm sorry, I didn't see you put them there. Why are they there anyway? Why am I on the ground? What in the hell happened to your hair AJ?" Nick asks us in rapid speed.
At the mention of Aj's hair I look at it and, well it's typical Aj. Dyed red with black tips, the boy loves his hair color.
"Nick get up off the ground" Kevin says to him when he walks past him.
"No, not til someone answers me" Nick says stubbornly.
"Nick, hun." I say to him "The bags are on the ground because we have to take them upstairs to our rooms. You are on the ground because being the true blonde you are, you didn't watch where you were going."
"KLYN!" Kevin yells at me but the rest of the group is laughing.
"What Kevin?" I ask him.
"Leave the boy alone about being a blonde would you, I mean you are also blonde" he reminds me.
"Yes you are right Kevy, I am blonde BUT the difference between my blondeness and Nicky's is he oozes complete and utter 'dumb blondedom'" I tell him and he looks at me with a stupid look on his face and Autumn starts cracking up
"See, you are putting down blondes but you can't even understand that one Kev" she tells him
(Autumn POV)
I look over at Klyn and tell her that was a good one. She smiles back at me. I look over at Nick and he seems preoccupid with something on the ground that is blue.
"Guys, where did this come from?" he asks.
Remembering how he ratted on me, I decide to have some fun. I walk over to him. "Nick, you sure you want to know?" He nodded. "Well, the guys didn't want to tell you but, well, it's the sky. It's falling."
Nick gets this look of terror on his face and runs off screaming, "THE SKY IS FALLING! NOOOOOOO!"
I start laughing hard and Kevin walks over to me.
"What in the world did you tell him?"
"Um, I just told him it was a gum wrapper and he freaked and somehow thought I said the sky was falling."
"Autumn, just go get something and get in the hotel and leave Nick alone, okay?"
"Yes father," I say laughing.
I go over and Klyn asks me what is funny. I whisper to her and she laughs."
