Falling From an Evergreen

Say good night I’m closing my eyes

Forgetting the world I wish that could fly

(Or at least take off)

Watching the world spin, shattered to begin

I’m losing my faith in all my religion

It’s colder than winter and I know (that I’m)

Falling down

I’m losing ground

And all this pain that I have taken

Has turned me inside out

                So the story shows

                Don’t just let it go

                Cold nights in the snow

Have left me some room to grow

                Don’t say anything

You don’t know what I’m thinking

Six months later and falling down

I’m tired of losing my ground

Spider webbed-this is when I close my eyes

Picturing-what went on inside your mind

At that last second there was no turning back

Collision like a heavy artillery attack

                Falling down

                I’m losing ground

And all this pain that I have taken

                Has turned me inside out

So the story shows

Don’t just let it go

Cold nights in the snow

Have left me some room to grow

Don’t say anything

You don’t know what I’m thinking

Six months later and falling down

I’m tired of losing my ground
