Here's one of my most recent pics taken the night I chatted with Nelly Furtado after her hometown concert

people from the audience who she thought should be her sexy corner dancers!!!

Famous Actor I've met:
On Valentine's Day of 2003 I noticed a familiar looking person in the line up at my till at work. When I helped him I realized who it was and when I heard his british accent I knew for sure it was
him! It was Colin Firth who's been a favorite actor of mine since I saw him in 'Pride and Prejudice' years ago which I own on VHS. He's also appeared in a few of my other favorite movies such as 'Bridget Jones' Diary', 'Shakespeare in Love', 'What A Girl Wants',and 'The Importance of Being Earnest'! He's not all that well known I guess since no one seemed to recognize him but I sure did! I didn't know what to say since I was in shock so I treated him like any other customer! I had no clue why he'd be in my city let alone my store but my friend who's a fan of his did some research and found out that it's because he has a son who lives here in Victoria from an ex-girlfriend of his, the actress Meg Tilly (Jennifer Tilly's sister). So maybe I'll have Colin as a customer again one day and this time I'll be prepared and be able to tell him I'm a fan! It's kinda ironic but Colin was the celeb featured as 'Man of Style' in the February 2003's issue of 'In Style' magazine which I'd bought from my store a few days before hand!
Favorite Elijah Wood movie:
I enjoy watching any movie he's in but if I had to pick only one of his fabulous movies I'd have to say it's 'The Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King' (which I've seen 4 times in the theatres already!) since it's by far the best of the LOTR movies in which I think he delivers the best acting performance of his career to date!!
After seeing 'Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind' on it's opening day at the theatres, I have to now add this as being almost my favorite Elijah movie since it's so fantastic but not enough scenes with him compared to LOTR!!
Favorite Elijah quotes from his movies:
"Lipstick and rouge Ma...lipstick and rouge!" from 'The War', "Guaranteed to jack you up!!" from 'The Faculty', and "I will take it...I will take it...I will take the Ring to Mordor!" from 'The Fellowship Of The Ring'
How many Elijah Wood movies I've seen so far:
I have currently seen 25 out of the 29 Elijah movies released. I've seen all except for 'Chain of Fools' (which isn't available here since it wasn't released in Canada...so I'm going to have to order it off the internet if I wanna see it, although I haven't been able to find the correct region for my DVD player so far!), plus I haven't seen the rare tv movies he did in the early 90's like 'Child In The Night','Day-O', and 'The Witness'!
Which Elijah Wood movies I own:
So far I have 'Back To The Future-part 2'(trilogy set) dvd, 'Internal Affairs' dvd, 'Avalon' dvd&vhs, 'Paradise' dvd&vhs, 'Radio Flyer' vhs, 'Forever Young' dvd ,'The Good Son' dvd&vhs, 'The Adventures of Huck Finn' dvd, 'North' vhs, 'The War' vhs, 'Flipper' vhs&dvd, 'The Ice Storm' dvd&vhs, 'Oliver Twist' dvd&vhs, 'Deep Impact' dvd, 'The Faculty' dvd, 'Black & White' dvd, 'The Bumblebee Flies Anyway' dvd, 'The Fellowship Of The Ring' & 'FOTR'-Extended Edition dvd, 'National Geographic-Beyond The Movie for LOTR:FOTR' dvd, 'The Adventures Of Tom Thumb & Thumbelina' vhs, Ash Wednesday' dvd, 'The Two Towers' & 'TTT'-Extended Edition dvd, 'All I Want' dvd, 'Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over' dvd, 'The Return Of The King' dvd, 'National Geographic-Beyond The Movie for LOTR:ROTK' dvd, 'Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind' dvd, and even 'The Osbournes'-1st Season dvd(in which Elijah made a guest appearance)! I eventually want to own most of his movies although it's tough trying to find them since most aren't available for sale in stores I've discovered!
Which Elijah Wood film soundtrack cd's I own:
So far I have 'North', 'The Ice Storm', 'The Faculty', 'Black and White', 'Lord Of The Rings- The Fellowship Of The Ring', 'Ash Wednesday', 'Lord Of The Rings- The Two Towers', 'Lord Of The Rings- The Return Of The King', and 'Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind'!
Favorite hobbies:

Which cool songs I have on my new silver LG flip cell phone:
Besides the ring tones that were on the phone already I downloaded the following cool songs to groove to when people call me... Favorite sports to do:
Well figure skating was my life(blood, sweat & tears)for about 11 years where I eventually qualified to compete at the Junior competitive singles level for the last few years. I also coached kids of all ages how to skate, competed on several synchronized skating teams (up to the National level), and also passed the highest levels in tests for all the different aspects of the sport possible(figures, skills, artistic, dance and freeskate)! I have also done gymnastics (9 years), swimming(9 years), track and field, karate, tennis, and all types of dancing all outside of school! In school I competed in track and field(long jump, 100m sprint, and 4x100m relay), and cheerleading(my team won gold in a competition in Vancouver although we were the smallest team there!) I also love working out, rollerblading, riding my bike for long distances or just to and from work, hiking, skiing, knee boarding and tubbing on a lake, and outrigger kayaking in my spare time. Plus I have a blast playing Disc Golf at my favorite family retreat location on Pender Island (which is in the Gulf Islands between Vancouver Island and the BC mainland where a ferry takes you to Vancouver) whenever I get the chance to go there!!!
Famous athletes I've met:
Figure Skaters; Kurt Browning, Josee Chouinard, Brian Orser, Elizabeth Manley, Elvis Stoyko, Shae-Lynn Bourne and Victor Kraatz, Jamie Sale,(before she was David Pelletier's partner!) Barbara Underhill and Paul Martini, Tracy Wilson, Christine Hough and Doug Ladret(his brother was my dance coach/partner and sharpened my skates!) Toller Cranston, Kristi Yamaguchi, Jill Trenary, and many more and not only did I met them and got their autographs but I've had pictures taken with them, skated on the ice with them, and have been instructed by their coaches...you name it!
Hockey players; Luc Robitaille along with the rest of the 91/92 LA Kings team
(except for Wayne Gretzky since he wasn't there shucks!!) in their towels or no clothing at all after their secret practice before one of my skating practices where I'd injured myself beforehand (ie thumb slammed into locked car door!) and got taken care of by the team's medical doctor! It's no joke! I was too young and in too much pain to care though!!
My Musical background:
I've been singing from as far back as I can remember practically in church and then throughout the years in numerous choirs in and out of school and was in a gospel choir in 2000-2001 that was in my city's international Jazz festival during the summer of 2000. I started playing intruments with several years of piano lessons as well as playing the recorder and violin in elementary school. I then played the flute in my school bands for 8 years(plus 2 yrs of private lessons) as well as other intruments on the side like piccolo, chimes, xylaphone, bells, keyboard, and covered the guitar bass part on the keyboard. I took as many music programs as possible (concert and jazz band, concert choir, vocal jazz, career prep music, and pit orchestra for the musicals) and focused mostly on those throughout school.

(besides soulDecision's concerts- see my sD experience pages on my other fan site for how those went!)
Diana Krall at the National Music Festival 1999 in Vancouver (saw her also at a clinic of hers the next day and got to ask her questions!), Love Inc & Chris Sheppard with guests Kayle and DJ Iron Mike at a local night club in the summer of 2000, Ricky Martin with Jessica Simpson at GM Place on March 11th 2000, in Vancouver(Jess was a no show since she wanted to be with Nick instead!), McMaster and James at a nightclub (where I was so close to the stage that I could play Rob's keyboard), Ricky J at a mall in town (I lost control since I was so close!!), Wave & Snow & b4-4 & soulDecision at the 2001 Psykoblast tour in Vancouver on June 15th 2001 (where I had a front and center spot to view and drool the whole concert), and Janet Jackson's All For You Tour with opening act 112 on July 9th 2001 in Vancouver (I had awesome seats and got some really good pictures!!), the rock band Default at a very loud outdoors concert at the University of BC campus on September 7th, 2002 when I was visiting my friend there for a few days (I was able to get some awesome close-up pics of the band since there wasn't any arranged seating!)
Famous musicians I have met or know:
I've met in person, seen in concert and received autographs from McMaster and James, B4-4, Wave, and Ricky J.
At the Janet Jackson concert in Vancouver in 2001, I saw Tino(the kickass bass player from soulDecision) when I got there late and was walking to my seating section and I went right up to him and told him how much I loved soulDecision and how I'm their biggest fan from Victoria and how I've even written Trevor(the lead singer) a letter a while back and he asked me my name and told me he'd say hi to Trevor for me!! I freaked out of course!!
I also know Nelly Furtado since I went to the same jr & sr high schools as her and had the same music teachers! It's weird having her in my yearbook and just watching her become incredibly famous worldwide so quickly! The things she mentions on TV I remember occuring in school!!! UPDATE: on Christmas Eve 2001 I had a dream come true when I saw Nelly Furtado walk into the store where I work to do some shopping and since it was my break I decided to go see if it really was her! I found her and not only talked to her but she gave me a personalized autograph and told me good luck in the future! She hasn't let the fame hit her since she was super friendly just like I imagined!
I also have the amazing priviledge of becoming close friends over the internet since September 2000 with a huge celebrity and rockstar (9 time Grammy Award winner and 16 time nomminee!) Their music has been featured in several film soundtracks including one of Elijah's movies! I can't mention their name since they're way too famous for me to be associated with so it would be a safety risk for them & me!! They're friendship means the world to me and I respect their privacy from the press so don't bother asking me who it is!!
