Networking
A fantastic way to start your networking is to join the scientific community in societies and clubs. You can meet people already in the field and those in related fields. It's a way to make contacts and a way to socialise and find out what's in store for you. Some societies also have discounted rates for student membership.
Australian Clubs and Societies
ANZFSS - The Australian and New Zealand Forensic Science Society
The ANZFSS conduct regular meetings with specialist lecturers giving away the secrets of their field. These meetings are useful to keep up to date with new techniques and events as well as to meet those who are experts in their field.
