I'll bet you're wondering, what's the point of this mailing list and that song? As it says at the top, this list is The Newsgirls for Christ list.
This morning I was watching a short video on the life of Rachel Scott, a young woman who was killed at Columbine when she was shot fatally when she said that she believed in God. Rachel was the type of girl who lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed life, and more than anything, wanted to make a difference in someone's life. Unfortunately, she's made a bigger influnce now than she has when she was alive.
Both the lives of Rachel and Cassie Bernall have influence us and we decided to tell everyone that we want to live like them. Since we're both fans of Newsies, we were hoping that we could get as many Newsies fans out there to join this list.
Joining this list would show everyone that you are also a Newsgirl for Christ. After all, if we consider ourselves as newsgirls, what news are we sharing? Are we just sharing news of our favorite movie and actors, or are you sharing what you believe?
