For this form of divination, a bowl will be required. Optimally, a black bowl, with no markings or other colours on the inside of it would be ideal. Thus, when water is placed within the bowl, the surface will be black. At the very bottom of the bowl, place either a crystal, or a silver coin. The best results with Water Scrying are achieved during the full moon, and performed outdoors. The bowl should be placed in a position where the surface of the water can reflect the brightness of the Moon. Perform the Grounding and Centering Format, allowing your gaze to drift into soft sight. Remember to allow your self to blink when needed. Straining to keep ones eyes open for extended periods of time will distract the Diviner and slow down the intuitive process. Once soft site has been achieved begin to chant the following: "By moon magic, by Faery spell, Once the moonlight reflects off the crystal, or coin, images will begin to appear in your mind's eye. Open to the images as they are filtered through your own little sacred well. This form of divination plays in the mind like a film upon thescreen. |
