Lacia Falcon Claw

A noble born lady of the Falcon Claw house. She was the youngest child at the age of sixteen, the and only daughter. Her Parents had marriage and a soft life planed for her, until a plague stole their lives and that of their sons. Leaving Lacia alone in a keep with nothing but memories to keep her company.

Lonnan, the middle son was suppose to join the academy that year. Lacia found that to be her only option left open, for she was unwilling to wed and let her family name come to an end.

So with only her horse and some clothes she rode off to the cavalier academy. Leaving her keep in the hands of faithful servants. The Academy didn't want to accept a woman into their mists, but being of nobility, and having the papers for the open slot, Lacia was able to force their hands with a few compromises on her part. Lacia spent her time at the school, living in the stables, for they wouldn't let a woman enter into the dorms, which was quite all right with her.

Lacia graduated with at the top of her class and went on to become a paladin of Inturnal. The ways of the church suits her perfectly, as a holy warrior, she is except from the Noble lady’s need to marry. During her exploits for the church, she learned of a plan to take over the country. At which time, Defaner (a fellow Paladin)and herself set out to stop it.

In the end, Defaner, herself and Alton, Alton had been an enemy general that switched sides when Lacia took him in fair and honorable combat. Between the three of them, they retook the country. Placing the King as a figure head and dividing the land between the three of themselves. Dividing the land fixed two major problems, first it ensured that no one man had complete control over the people. Second it kept one man from buying up the land.

To this date, Lacia is unwed nearing her twenty fifth birthday. Defaner has been missing for three years, leaving her in charge of his lands. General Alton has vanished into the forests taking up the life of a ranger over that of wealth and power. He also left her in charge of his lands. So much for the ideas of never letting one person rule all the country.

Lacia lives once more in her family home, far away from the petty nobles that she had given land rights over to, when she realized that she was unable to monitor all the country herself. She has become recluse over the last few years, for every time she visits the noble council, she becomes bombarded by the overly enthusiastic single sons. Marriage to one of these power hungry men is the last thing she wishes. For even to this day she will not give up her family name, but she will not tell them that, for then you know that one would offer to take her’s in the chance to live wealthy for the rest of his life.

Her dilemma is, how to carry on her family name and blood line without begetting a bastard child. Such an act would go completely against all her honor codes and dishonor that family name she wishes to carry on. Much less Lacia needs to find a suitable sire for her off spring. At one time, she had thought she found him, but he vanished into the forest glades.
