during the light of day. Darkness found them closer, letting their feelings stray. He waited in the shadows as the evening dusk set in. She listened for her lover, her mind glistening with sin. No one understood their love, so they left it up to fate. They'd held each other closely, praying the night would never end. But twilight was fast approaching, so his lover would turn to "friend". Their lips carressed each other, not thinking of the pain, of going through another day, with love they'd have to feign. One more glance, one last embrace, then he turned and walked away. "I love you" He softly said, as the darkness turned to grey. "I love you too" She replied, as she retreated from the street. It's the start of a new day, maybe, by chance, they'll meet.
