Harry is the only child of James and Lily Potter. Orphaned at just a year old, after his parents sacrificed themselves to save him, Harry became famous for doing what no wizard or witch had been able to do; he defeated the Drak Lord, Voldemort. For ten years he lived life as a muggle not knowing what he was or what he had done. He lived with his Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon Dursley, two of the most horrifying and cruelest relatives anyone could ever have and their son, Dudley, who if you ask me could use some good old fashioned exercise.
After living in a seeming exile from the wizarding world and living in an unloving environment for ten years, Harry Potter was about to rejoin the world that had been waiting for him. Enter Hagrid, a loveable half-giant and who would later become one of Harry's closet friends. Whisking Harry out of the harsh life that he'd been living, he introduced Harry into a world that was so wonderous Harry wondered if was real. It was. Hagrid showed Harry where to buy his school supplies and there Harry learned of the true fate of his parents, whom he thought had perished in a car crash.
After all is said and done Harry finds himself aboard the Hogwarts Express, bound for his new magical school. On board he meets, his two best friends Ron Weasley, the youngest son of pureblooded family and Hermione Granger, the only child of muggle parents. However, it wasn't until saving Hermione from a troll did all three become friends. And thus the trio was formed. With is two best friends beside him, Harry sets out to discover the mystery of the Sorcerer Stone, and finds adventure galore. Being the youngest Quidditch player in a century, foiling Voldemort once again and making new friends, this Gryffindor had one heck of a first year
His second year was just as exciting. Escaping the Dursley's home in a flying car driven by Ron and his elder twin brothers, staying in a wizards home, meeting a new DADA teacher more concieted than Malfoy, and earning the admiration of Ginny Weasley, Ron's younger and only sister. It was also a year fraught with danger as the mythical Chamber of Secrets was opened once again, proving that it wasn't so mythical. As, Harry, Ron and Hermione hurry to uncover the mystery of it all, they encounter a house-elf who, though trying to protect Harry is actually placing him in more danger than expected. When Hermione falls victim to the monster of Slytherin, Harry and Ron work feverishly to solve the mystery. After a disastrous turn in the Forbidden Forest with gigantic spiders to boot, Harry and Ron soon learn thar Ginny has been taken into the Chamber by the monster. Being the heroic duo that they are they risk their lives to save Ginny. IT turns out that Ginny was the one killing off roosters, and setting the basilisk loose on the school and writing the threatening messages on the walls. But it wasn't of her own will. She was being controlled by Tom Riddle, the 16year old self of Voldemort. In the end Harry triumphed over Riddle and the wizarding world was again safe from evil.
Harry's third year, as usual is full of adventure. After accidently blowing up his aunt Marge, he runs away from the Dursleys only to find himself at the Leaky Cauldron, courtesy of the Knight Bus. There he is met by the minister of magic Cornelius Fudge and is given a room, under the condition that he not venture out into the muggle world. Why? Because a mass murderer named Sirius Black has just escaped from Wizard prison and is believed to be coming after Harry. After 12 long years of imprisonment, Black's escaped with one thing on his mind, find the one who framed him. And that turns out to be none other than Ron's pet rat Scabbers, aka Peter Pettigrew. An animagus and supposed friend to Harry's parents. Black doesn't want to kill Harry, he wants to kill Pettigrew, the man reponsible for his best friends murders. And so in his 3rd year Harry must deal with Dementors, a murderer, his raging hormones, girls and trying to finally win the Quidditch Cup for Gryffindor!
