Oval Callout: Hi Everyone This a watercolor of a French café in Brest in Brittany France .It was on the go-cards in in Copenhagen in July. Go cards are post cards put up in stands in most cafés around Denmark .People pay to advertise but artists can apply and maybe get a free one. Artist Statement:

My work is mainly influenced by the beauty I find in "nature" mainly from "the sea" also plants and animals. It is a celebration of life in joyous colors, influenced by Nordic landscape from The Faroe Islands and Iceland with bird life (puffins) other motives are inspired by charming Danish villages and coast lines etc. I have also made a series of tropical paintings. Influenced by visit to Florida and recently ,"Spanish paintings" from Mojacar,Almeria.
