My musical interests are fairly simple. I just love music. Unfortunately my job and computer work both keep me from devoting what I feel is an adequate amount of time to practice both my guitar and my keyboard.
I currently have two guitars. My favorite guitar is my Southern Jumbo, made by Crafter. It has a deep rich sound, and I love to play it. My second guitar is actually my very first guitar. It's a Kent, which I purchased about 30 years ago when I was in the Navy and stationed in Scotland. At the time, I was told that it was really really an imitation of a Yamaha guitar. It's old, and needs some work done to it, but I still play it. Even in it's worn and well used condition, I can't seem to part with it.
I also have a Casio 61 key personal keyboard. I recently purchased it, and intend to learn to play the keyboard as well. I guess working in the keyboard department of a digital organ manufacturer gives you a sort of fever for learning to play.
In addition to playing the guitar and keyboard, I enjoy listening to a variety of music. I listen to everything from classical music to rock, and just about anything in between. I must admit though, I'm not much of a fan of Rap and Hip Hop. I have recently taken a liking to dance music (it has a high vibration), and enjoy listening to "Open House Party", a nation wide broadcast of dance music. It airs every Saturday night on one of our local radio stations, and I make a point to tune in each week.
Some of my favorite selections from my personal music collection include; Pink Floyd, 3 Doors Down, Live, Enigma, Kenny G, Fleetwood Mac, and a small collection of New Age and Native American Music.
That about covers my musical interests for now. But then, I'm sure they will continue to expand.
