A DEAL WITH THE DEVIL

The scene opens to show the current Crimson Glory Champion Falcon, walking through a field. Resting on his right shoulder is his pet falcon Talon. As Falcon walks around his approached by his former manager and ex girlfriend Troy.

FALCON: What in the hell are you doing here Troy, you know I don't want you around this place.

TROY: Well Falcon, as your manager I think that I should know where you are at all times.

FALCON: Well you know Troy. I've been thinking about that. Since you know how I feel about you, why don't you and I make a deal.

TROY: What kind of deal?

FALCON: This week at Quell, I'll allow you to be in my corner. If I win then allow you to return full time as my manager, but if I lose you and I will go our separate ways for good.

TROY: So let me get this straight. You let me be in your corner for your match this week against Devon Stevens and if you win I'm your manager again?

FALCON: That's what I said. So are you interested in that offer or are you just going keep trying to play your little games?

TROY: You know what Falcon. I'll take you up on that offer. You are a hell of a lot better then Devon Stevens. In my opinion he is a lost soul trying to find his way. There is no doubt in my mind that you can beat him. This Thursday at Quell when you destroy Devon Stevens...

FALCON: Troy, Devon is part of Seek and Destroy. I won't be destroying him in the ring.

TROY: Falcon if you walk into the match with that attitude Devon with annihilate you. This match has nothing to do with the fact that you and Devon are both in Seek and Destroy. It has everything to do with the fact that he wants your Crimson Glory Championship. If you go in holding back, Devon will beat you from one end of the ring to the other. Plus are you completely sure that you can trust him?

FALCON: I trust Predator's judgment and Predator trusts Devon. But you are right Troy, this match is entirely about my Crimson Glory Championship. In a way I am pissed that my first defense is against a fellow SnD member, but what can I do?

TROY: Kick poor Devon Stevens ass and send a message to the CMW. Let the bookers and wrestlers know that Falcon is not a push over. Over the last few weeks you have been on one hell of a run. Ever since you landed in Mexico you have been unstoppable.  You and Excalibur humiliated the Icons. Then you and Predator absolutely destroyed Joker and Monoxide. Hell since that match no one has seen or heard from Monoxide.

FALCON: Then there was last week when I was forced into the match with Darrel Music against Excalibur and Chad Colombo.

TROY: Well that is Phil Styles for you, the man thinks he's the biggest thing in this fed. If he wasn't one of the executives he would have had his ass handed to him long before know. But I wouldn't worry about old Mr. Styles right now, if I were you I would focus on Devon Stevens challenge this week at Quell.

FALCON: You know what Troy, once again you are correct. I can't dwell on the past or focus to much on the future. One thing I do know is that somewhere down the road, my path will cross Darrel Music's. When that day comes I will once again beat his ass from one side of the arena to the other. But for the moment I will put my focus on beating Devon Stevens and retaining my Crimson Glory Championship. I will not rest until I have beaten Predator's record as the longest reigning Crimson Glory Championship. I am nearly a third of the way there. And it's like you said Troy, over the last few weeks I have been on one hell of a role. At this time in my career I feel unbeatable.

TROY: I wouldn't get to confident Falcon, you know as well as anyone that things can change in a moment. Hell you have gone through more then your fair share of slumps.

FALCON: Don't you think I know that? But you should know better then anyone else in this world? You should also know that I don't dwell on the past.

TROY: Speaking of the Past. I've noticed over the last few days that your old Trinity partner Archangel has been trying to get his job back.

FALCON: You know what Troy, who cares. I could care less if he gets back in. I thought he was someone I could trust to be there when I needed him, but he packed his bags and walked out on me. All I have to say is that if the CMW decides to let him back in I want him first. He and I have several issues I want to address. So Troy, you seem to be well informed, what can you tell me about these "European Rules" that have been set for my match?

TROY: I am still looking into that for  you. I am trying my best to find out if there is an actual European Rules Rule book. The moment I do I will tell you what I know.

FALCON: Are you telling me that I may have no idea what the rules are going in?

TROY: Unfortunately. But I don't think that you'll have much to worry about, after all you are fighting Devon Stevens. Who I think is the weakest link in Seek and Destroy. I swear Falcon if you lose to Devon Stevens you should consider calling it a career.

FALCON: You know what Troy, if I lose to Devon Stevens that means that you have to sign the papers nullifying our life time contract.

TROY: So are you saying that you are going to throw the match?

FALCON: You really don't now me anymore do you? You should now that winning means everything to me. I would never throw a match just to make my life more convenient. The way I see it I am going to give Devon Stevens my all, if I lose I lose. I win then I am stuck with you.

TROY: That is true.

Falcon then reaches in his pocket and pulls out a chunk of meat. He hands the meat to Talon. Talon then soars off of Falcon's shoulder and disappears over some trees.

TROY: You still let him fly free?

FALCON: He's the reason I bought the Sanctuary. Well Troy, I have to get going. I'm making a stop home before I hit New Orleans. See you at Quell.

TROY: Yeah see you at Quell.

Falcon then walks away. Troy watches him for several moments before pulling out her cell phone. She dials a number then begins to talk. Through the miracle of modern science we are able to hear the voice on the other end.

VOICE: Hello?

TROY: Johnny its me. I just wanted you to know that bird boy took the bait.

JOHNNY: I told you he would. So where is the "Great and all Powerful" Falcon?

TROY: Gone to catch a plane back to Canada.

JOHNNY: I had a feeling he would do something like that. I'll have to beat him there and lay the seeds of suspicion when he tries to explain this to my sister.

TROY: That you do. Anyway I am going to head for a last bit of sunshine before meeting up with Falcon at Quell.

JOHNNY: Have fun.

Troy hangs up the phone and walks off toward the entrance of the Sanctuary as the scene fades to black.
