The scene opens to show Trinity
member Falcon working out in a weight room, he is doing bench presses when the
manager of the Trinity Donovan Black walks into the gym. Donovan walks over to
Falcon. Falcon ignores him and finishes his set. Once Falcon is done, he puts
the weights on the rack and sits up. He looks right at Donovan before saying
anything.
FALCON: What in the hell do you want
Donovan? I thought I told you, Apoc and Archangel that I needed to do things on
my own for awhile after our loss at Fatal Games. I mean seriously Donovan the
Trinity is becoming a joke. I honestly feel that the time is right for the three
of us to focus on our solo careers for a bit. Now don't get me wrong Donovan, I
still have their backs, but for the meantime I'm requesting that the CMW book me
in singles action.
DONOVAN: Well Falcon that is why I am
here, you've been booked in a double title ladder match at Juiced next week.
FALCON: Double Title?
DONOVAN: That's right a Double Title
Ladder Match for both the International Championship and the Lord of the Dance
Championship.
FALCON: Sweet, how many opponents will
there be? And who all are they?
DONOVAN: Well there is you, Eric Von
Scott, Hardkore Dave, Alex "The Punisher" Newsted,
Rayne Phoenix, Excalibur, and "The Joker" Derryk FitzAdams.
That's a total of seven men.
FALCON: So in other words it's going to
be complete chaos in the ring next week. But at least I'll have the home field
advantage so to speak, being one of two Canadians in the match.
DONOVAN: That's true, both you and
Excalibur should have the fans support in Montreal.
FALCON: That might just be true Donovan,
but you are forgetting Excalibur turned his back on the fans, because he thought
they didn't respect him. That should help give me the complete home field
advantage in this match. Yes it is true that the match is taking place in
Montreal, but the thing about the fans in Montreal is that they love seeing
Canadian wrestlers in action. Look how they treated Bret Hart when he use to
wrestle there. I mean think about it Donovan, there isn't a better place in the
world for me restart my solo career.
DONOVAN: That's true Falcon. Plus with
being so close to home, you and Denise might be able to spend some time at home
and visit with your niece and nephew.
FALCON: Actually Denise and I have other
plans this week.
DONOVAN: What's that?
FALCON: We are going to go skiing in
northern Quebec. She's never been and the mountains there are perfect to learn
on.
DONOVAN: You sure that's wise?
FALCON: Why do you say that?
DONOVAN: Well there is a big chance you
could get injured.
FALCON: Donovan Denise and I probably
won't be spending a lot of time on the mountain if you catch my drift. This
skiing trip is the second part of our honeymoon.
DONOVAN: Why didn't you just say that in
the first place.
FALCON: But seriously Donovan. What do
you think my chances are in this match? How would you rate each of the other
men?
DONOVAN: Well, first off there is
Excalibur, he's 6'3" 235 lbs. From watching him over the last couple of
weeks I can tell you that his finisher the Ex-calibration is pretty impressive.
It's a hanging vertical suplex dropped into an inverted pile driver.
FALCON: Sounds painful. Any other moves
I should watch out for?
DONOVAN: He's a huge risk taker. He'll
try to nail you from any height.
FALCON: Sounds more like a weakness then
an advantage for him. I mean sure high risk moves will help get you over with
the fans, but there should be a limit to the amount of risk you take. From the
sounds of things Excalibur doesn't know when to stop. Next.
DONOVAN: Rayne Phoenix. He's an American
who was raised in Japan. His finisher the Eskaflowne is an impressive sight. I
would avoid it all costs.
FALCON: What is it?
DONOVAN: It's hard to describe. It's a
combination Jackhammer-F5-Tiger Driver. He seems to be able to hit it from
anywhere.
FALCON: Ok. What about "The
Joker"?
DONOVAN: Don't let that nickname fool
you he's an impressive lightweight. Much like you were before your neck surgery.
FALCON: He sounds like a challenge. I
can't wait to see what this young man has to offer.
DONOVAN: Next we have Eric Von Scott.
Archangel has fought both him and Alex "the Punisher" Newsted.
According to Archangel both men are extremely talented.
FALCON: That's a huge compliment coming
from him. Continue.
DONOVAN: Ok. As I was saying both men
are extremely talented and can take a tremendous amount of pain. If you weren't
involved in this match Falcon, my money would be on either won of them to pull
of what many would consider an upset.
FALCON: And that leaves Hardkore Dave.
Judging by the name he seems to right at home in the environment we will be
competing in.
DONOVAN: I wouldn't put it past him to
bring Mr. Steel Chair with him.
FALCON: Mr. Steel Chair?
DONOVAN: It's a chair that Dave talks
to.
FALCON: Ok. That definitely explains the
name. Let me guess he's from Philly.
DONOVAN: Yeah he is.
FALCON: Figures, over the last few years
there has been a lot of "Harcore" wrestlers coming out of there. It
must be something in the water.
DONOVAN: Must be, so what kind of
strategy are you going to use?
FALCON: Why don't I go grab a shower
first. I really don't think I should be talking strategy at the moment.
DONOVAN: Sounds good to me.
Falcon then gets up from the bench and
heads to the showers as the scene fades out.
