The scene opens to show
Canadian talk show host Mike Bullard sitting behind his desk. The house
bands music dies down and Mike Bullard begins to speak.
MIKE BULLARD: Welcome back, my
next guest has long been called the greatest Canadian wrestler since
Bret Hart. Currently employed by Crimson Mask Wrestling or CMW for
short. He is getting set for a big six man elimination match set to take
place this Thursday from the John Labatt Centre in London Ontario,
please give a warm welcome to the Guelph Ontario's own Falcon.
The house band starts up playing
Woke Up this Morning by Nickelback. Falcon steps onto the set and the
crowd goes ballistic for the Canadian hero. He walks up and shakes hands
with Mike Bullard before having a seat.
MIKE BULLARD: Welcome to the
show Falcon it's a pleasure to have you here.
FALCON: Thanks for giving the
opportunity to come.
MIKE BULLARD: Not a problem
Falcon, for those of our fans who might not have heard of you why don't
you give them a brief history of your career.
FALCON: Gladly. I grew up in
Guelph Ontario. At the age of 16 I left home and moved to Mexico, where
I trained for 7 months before making my debut.
MIKE BULLARD: Let me get this
right, you left home at 16 and moved to Mexico, how did your parents
feel about this?
FALCON: Well Mike my mom still
hasn't forgiven me to the day.
MIKE BULLARD: You also mentioned
that you made your professional debut after 7 months of training, does
that mean you were still 16?
FALCON: Yeah, I was 3 months
away from my 17th birthday. In my pro-debut that was a battle royal I
won the MCW Cruiserweight Championship.
MIKE BULLARD: That has to be
some sort of record.
FALCON: Probably. I don't really
care about setting records. Especially at this point in my career. I've
been a pro now for 10 years. At this point I just want to be taken
seriously, for most of my time outside of Mexico I've been seen as comic
relief. Back when I was in the MMP they even had me driving around in
low riders and taking with a Mexican accent. Now in the CMW I'm starting
to be seen as the guy who can't win the big one.
MIKE BULLARD: Aren't you and
Tiny former Tag Team Champions in the CMW?
FALCON: Yeah but we held the
titles for exactly one week. That reign is nothing to write home about.
The pairing of Tiny and I was doomed right from the start. Things became
even worse when my ex girlfriend and former manager Troy came into the
picture. As some of you may know Troy had a relationship with Tiny and
constantly played the two of us against each other. One more then one
occasion I had my ass handed to by the nearly 600lbs monster.
MIKE BULLARD: That's got to
suck. It was after that the Trinity first appeared. What was your
reasoning to join up with your longtime friends?
FALCON: Well actually at the
time I thought that was the best decision I could make both personally
and professionally. I mean Archangel, Apoc and I have one hell of a
history. The three of us have seen a ton of ups and downs during our
career's. But things started to go awry shortly after Denise and I set a
wedding date. I don't know if it was some sort of jealousy or what. But
the moment I got married things for the Trinity really took a downturn.
Both Archangel and Apoc started to become very unreliable. I even went
to another long time friend of ours Donovan Black to get try and get us
all working on the same page. But as you can tell that didn't go over to
well. I honestly think that neither Apoc or Archangel were happy in the
CMW.
MIKE BULLARD: Why do you think
that?
FALCON: Well we were on the road
a lot. Between house shows and Juiced I spend 4 or 5 days a week on the
road. Both Archangel and Apoc have kids, Archangel's daughter Hailey
started school this past September and Apoc has new born son. I think
that the two of them want to be closer to home and not on the road as
much as we are. As for me, my wife Denise also works for the CMW as my
valet. The only I thing I don't like about being on the road is that I
don't get to see my niece and nephew as much as I would like. But that
is the price you pay for being in the business. To me there is no
greater high then going out night after night and performing in front of
the fans in the arena's. Last week we were in Montreal for the Fatal
Games PPV and I was blown away by the reaction I got when I stepped into
that arena.
MIKE BULLARD: If that reaction
was anything like the one you got when you stepped out here I can see
why it is such a high. I wish I got that reaction every time I stepped
into a room.
The crowd laughs for a few
moments.
MIKE BULLARD: You see, they
cheer for you and laugh at me. Now in all seriousness, this week you
have a match against some of the biggest stars the CMW has to offer. The
winner of that match goes onto the next CMW Pay-per View to face the CMW
World Champion. What are your thoughts on your opponents?
FALCON: Well first off I have
faced two of the men before JRED, the self professed role model, and
Brett Taylor. These two men are two of the best, when I faced them as a
member of the Trinity they took me to the limit. If they have one
weakness it's that they are to over confident. JRED especially. This man
claims to be a role model, if he is what role models are suppose to be I
never want to be one. As for Brett Taylor, list "man" the 70's are over
get with the times. This is a new millennium.
MIKE BULLARD: What about CMW
Hall of Famer Riggs?
FALCON: This man is a legitimate
legend in the CMW locker room. Ever since I arrived in the CMW all I
have heard about is Riggs past accomplishments. His match with Predator
at Fatal Games did proved to a lot of people that he is still at the top
of his game. But on the other hand I don't think he holds a candle to my
technical skills. Riggs likes to showcase himself as a hardcore
wrestler, but he has proven that on any given night he can beat anyone.
If there was one man to really worry about in this match Riggs is that
man. Plus Riggs has a beef with Seek and Destroy. As the newest member
of that stable it will be my honor and privilege to be the man that
eliminates Riggs.
MIKE BULLARD: Speaking of Seek
and Destroy why join them?
FALCON: Seek and Destroy is made
up of some of the fastest rising stars in the CMW. I joined up with them
because I need people I can trust to watch my back. I think the members
of Seek and Destroy are people I can trust. Every single member seems
focused.
MIKE BULLARD: Getting back to
your six man elimination match what are your thoughts on current Lord of
the Dance Champion Eric Von Scott?
FALCON: EVS for short is quickly
becoming a huge star in the CMW. As a two time LotD champ I have to
respect his perseverance. At Fatal Games he did everything he could to
regain that belt. That belt has to be the hardest championship to defend
in the CMW. I for one would hate having to wrestle all 3 and 4 way
dances. If anyone has to be seen as an odds on favorite to win in
London, besides myself of course, it has to be EVS.
MIKE BULLARD: That just leaves
Jack Frost, I believe that is what he calling himself now.
FALCON: Jack Frost, Rayne
Phoenix, what ever he wants to call himself I could careless. I
challenged him to a one on one match for his International Championship.
I look forward to meeting him in the ring one on one and kicking his ass
from one end of the arena to the other. Well this Thursday I am going to
send that psycho a message. I am going to beat him so bad that they will
have to carry his carcass out on a stretcher. I will beat his ass so bad
that even his next of kin won't be able to identify the remains.
MIKE BULLARD: I hate to cut you
off their Falcon, but he have to take a commercial break. When we come
back Falcon will show me what the dreaded Falcon Lock feels like.
The house band starts up and the
scene fades to commercial. When the commercials are over Falcon and Mike
Bullard are standing directly across from the band, the band dies out
and Mike Bullard speaks.
MIKE BULLARD: Welcome back. I am
here with current CMW wrestler Falcon. Falcon is going to show me what
it feels like to be caught in his dreaded Falcon Lock submission.
Mike Bullard turns and faces
Falcon.
MIKE BULLARD: So Falcon what do
you normally do to set this maneuver up?
FALCON: Well Mike normally I
would drop my opponent to the mat with a drop toe hold, as he is on the
way down I would maneuver myself around to his legs and lock in the
hold. Since I really don't want to hurt you I'll ask for you to lie on
your stomach.
MIKE BULLARD: Ok
Mike Bullard then takes off his
jacket and tie, he then starts to stretch. After several moments Falcon
speaks up.
FALCON: Whenever you are ready.
Mike Bullard then starts to
slowly get on the floor, the whole time constantly stretching.
MIKE BULLARD: I wouldn't want to
pull anything. Unlike you Falcon I am extremely out of shape.
The audience laughs. Mike
Bullard finally gets to the floor and stops stretching.
MIKE BULLARD: Please be gentle.
FALCON: I'll try.
Falcon then grabs Mike's leg and
applies next to no pressure.
MIKE BULLARD: This isn't so bad.
I can't see why this move is do dreaded.
FALCON: Would you like to feel
like Riggs will this Thursday?
Before Mike Bullard has a chance
to reply Falcon applies as much pressure on the ankle as he can. Mike
Bullard starts to cry out and pain. After a couple of seconds Mike
starts tapping out and Falcon releases the hold. Falcon the helps Mike
to his feet.
FALCON: Sorry about that I got a
little carried away.
MIKE BULLARD: After that I can
see why that hold is so dreaded. I don't think that I'll be able
to walk right for a week. Well folks that is all the time we have for
tonight. I would like to thank my guests Don Cherry and Falcon. Join us
tomorrow night when my guests will be Much Music VJ Rick the Temp,
Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt and musical guest Evanescence.
The house band starts up with
the Mike Bullard theme and the show fades to black.
