STOP VIOLENCE
ALTO
A LA VIOLENCIA
You need some tenderness to start going, with so much against you. You need some tenderness to discern a little bit of light in this endless darkness. You need some tenderness to turn duty and shame into an order, a lifestyle. You need some tenderness to get rid of so many fuckers running around. But there are times in which some tenderness is not enough and you have to add some lead.
"Stop violence" they paint in the streets and their initials the peace dove, they mean no violence, they mean no protest they fear the people will take control. When they talk about violence they talk about resistance about people's fight for their liberation, a right fight, a necessary fight defending our rights and emancipation.
The real violence is practised by the State offering hunger, poverty and exclusion.
Imposing:
CRIME, CHAOS, SHAME AND DEATH
The peace they offer us
Is the peace of the misery.
The peace they offer us
Is the peace of the oppressor.
A peace we don't want,
A peace that means death,
Injustice and submission.
The real violence is
practised by the State
With its "white guards" killing peasants
The real violence is practised by the State
With its illegal detentions, tortures and repression
The peace they offer us
Is the peace of poverty.
The peace they offer us
Is the peace of the oppressor.
A peace we don't want,
A peace that means death,
Injustice and submission.
The real violence is practised by the State
Imposing the law of the
strongest, imposing the law of the powerful,
the law of savage capitalism, dressed up as democratic system.
The real violence is practised by the State
Offering hunger, poverty and exclusion, it's the 40 millions
of Mexicans who live in extreme poverty
The real violence is practised by the State
With its illegal detentions, tortures and repression.
It's the militaries, the white guards and the paramilitaries,
killing peasants and indigenous people,
like it's been happening in Oaxaca, Guerrero and Chiapas.
Stop the humiliations, stop the slaughters,
stop violence. No more violence,
death and repression! NO!!
The peace they offer us
Is the peace of poverty.
The peace they offer us
Is the peace of the oppressor.
A peace we don't want,
A peace that means death,
Injustice and submission.
