~*~Nillika~*~

Description ~*~ Nillika stands at 5’5” her build is slender but muscular and many would consider her beautiful. Her true age is unknown but she is somewhere around 18.  She has fur black as midnight, which shines a deep bluish-purple color in the sun, and her eyes are emerald green with highlights of silver. Behind her left ear she has a scar but it can only be seen when she swivels her ear. Yunki, her ferret, is white with a single black spot on his forehead. He has been there with her through many hard times and is the only reason she is not insane. He is a very intelligent ferret and can understand most of the common language he relies on Nillika to translate for him. They are an inseparable pair. Nillika is very kind, easygoing, and is becoming outgoing. After finally figuring out that not all people hate Katta she found that she really likes interacting with people. She loves climbing the tree in her front yard to watch the people walk by on the street below.

Background ~*~ When she was around 12 Nillika’s clan was attacked by a band of Dorins. They hit her over the head very hard and left her to die. She awoke all alone and with very little memory left, she remembered how to walk and a few little things about her family, but with all that she had lost she had  gained the power to hear the animals. She wandered around for about a year going insane thinking the voices she heard were those of the Dorins coming to finish her off when she finally came to a cabin in the woods. The kind old man that lived there took her in and gave her Yunki, the ferret helped her to realize that the voices she heard were only those of the forest animals. Thorin, the old man, taught her many things including the common language and all sorts of things about the world. When he died, about 5 years after Nillika’s arrival, she left to move to a city. She found out too late that the city wasn’t katta friendly and was driven out. Once again she wandered around except this time she had Yunki, which made it easier. When she couldn’t forage or catch any food she would find a home and steal from them. Over the course of a year she managed to take enough money to afford a house. She looked around at different cities and finally settled on Alleria Prime. She now works as a waitress at the Laughing Lion and has put all thieveries behind her.
