“Will you go out with me?” Brian asked. They were at the front door of the house.
“Do you believe in fate? I do, and I believe that it’s fate that brought s together.” Rebecca didn’t answer his question directly, but her response made Brian takes her into his arms.
“I’ll take that as a yes?”
“It’s a yes.” Rebecca gave Brian the sweetest smile.
“Your hands are cold.” Brian exclaimed as he felt the coldness of her hand. “Is this better?” Brian rubbed her hand with his.
“Thanks, but I’m fine...” Rebecca was cut off when AJ swung the door open.
“I thought I heard something.” AJ moved in so they can come in. “Rok, where have you been all night, the party was great, if you notice I used ‘was’, that’s cuz everyone’s gone!”
“I can see that.” Brian looked around the empty, messy house.
“Who’s that?” AJ pointed at Rebecca.
“This is Rebecca.” Brian told him, then brought her over to the guys and introduced her again.
“Rebecca!” Nick stood up and gave her a hug. “What are you doing here?”
“You two knew each other?” Howie asked.
“She’s the girl I tried to set Brian up with.” Nick whispered, but Brian heard him.
“And when are you planning on telling me?”
“When you two are going out and happy, which is now?” Nick said with a weak smile on his face. Brian didn’t replied, he punched Nick on the stomach playfully.
“Oww, I think you broke my ribs!” Nick cried out, faking it.
“Nick, he didn’t hit you on your chest.” Angela corrected.
“So?” Nick laughed, which gave Brian a chance to jump on his back.
“Hey, we wanna play too!” AJ and Howie both grabbed a throwing pillow and joined the action; all four guys were wrestling on the carpet, hitting each other with the throwing pillows! Kevin, who was the only guy not involved in this, were cuddling with DeaAnne on the soda, with the girls watching them fight like little kids. It was hilarious when Brian and Nick played dead when AJ and Howie decided to gang up on them.
“Are you done now? Or should I call the cops and told them that two of the Backstreet Boys are dead?” DeaAnne smiled innocently.
“Yeah, we’re done, just have to bury those two dead bodies in the backyard.” AJ said, mentioning Nick and Brian.
“I’ll dig.” Rebecca said seriously, winked at Angela. The girls had become friend in the past minutes.
“Well, I guess that we’re single now, Rebecca. Wanna go boy hunting?” Angela suggested, giving Rebecca a look back. Understanding that look, Rebecca said yes. Just when those two were about to reach the door, Nick and Brian who were ‘dead’, jumped up, and stopped them.
“I thought you were dead?” Angela and Rebecca pretended to exclaim the rest couldn’t hold their laughter in anymore.
“We were, but we realize that we love you, and that’s why we came back!” Brian said in a squeaky voice and Nick agreed.
Soon, five years passed by. Brian and Rebecca had announced their relationship to the press about two years ago, right after Kevin and Nick. AJ and Steph had been seen holding hands at places, so they were unofficially a couple. Howie was the only one that was able to keep his love life private and Kristen enjoyed the privacy they get when they were out on dates.
After careful consideration, the guys decided that they all need their loves in their lives, forever. So they all proposed at a concert through a song. Kevin’s was No One Else Comes Close, Howie’s was Spanish Eyes, Brian’s was Anywhere For You, AJ’s was I’ll Never Break Your Heart and Nick’s was I Need You Tonight. It was a surprise for the fans as well as it was to the girlfriends, or now fiancees. But of course, they all said yes, the wedding was held few months after the proposal and release of the boys’ sixth album - which went platinum as well as the others.
“I now pronounce you men and wives.” The elderly priest announced. Then the whole arena burst into cheers. The boys, who was always putting their fans on the top of their lists, had chose the concert arena in Vegas for their wedding. It was also broadcast and the tickets were sold out. They wanted to share the most wonderful moment in their lives with the one that loved them from the start - the fans.
The BSB fans took the wedding announcement surprising well. “I love the boys, cuz it’s about their music! I admit that I was jealous and trashing the girlfriends’ pictures. Then I figured, if they are happy, I should be happy for them!” One of the loyal Backstreet fans said in BOP magazine.
Looking at thousands and thousands of fans cheering and the family stood by the stage, the five guys exchanged a smile. Knowing that the love they received from their parents, siblings, lovers and fans are never-ending. No matter what happens, it would always be there. That love was endless, yes, endless love...
