“What the hell happened last night?” Kristen asked, her voice shaking.
“Look, nothing happened last night, I think.”
“You think?!”
“Yeah, but I’m 90% sure... You have to trust me.”
Kristen eyed the man in front of her, then let out a sigh, “Okay, I trust you.”
“Thank you. Do you want breakfast?”
“That would be great.” Kristen replied, combing her hair with her fingers.
“The bathroom is down the hall to the left, there’s new tooth brushes in the second drawer.”
“Okay, thanks.” Kristen smiled then disappeared down the hall.
“Is she gone?” Brian asked.
“She’s in the bathroom. What did I get myself into?” Howie sighed.
“Well, she’s pretty cute. Are you sure she’s not your girlfriend? And that you’re suffering from a hangover so you kinda forgot her?”
“It’s not the kind of things you just forget.” Howie glared at his friend.
“Just trying to help.” Brian laughed as Kristen walked out the bathroom.
“I’m done.” She announced.
“Okay, let’s get some breakfast.” Howie jumped up and lead her out the door.
During breakfast, Howie and Kristen bonded and realized that they should be together after all.
“What time is it? Where am I?” Kevin yelled as he fell off the couch.
“It’s almost 11 and you are at my house.” DeaAnne answered from the kitchen while making lunch.
“Oh god, I’m gonna be late, where’s Nick? What are you cooking? It smells good.”
“He’s in Angela’s room, probably playing Nintendo. And I’m making potato soup and some bread.”
“Oh.” Kevin nodded.
“Are you gonna stay for lunch?”
“Yeah.” Kevin inhaled the delicious scent of the baking bread.
“I thought you were gonna be late.” DeaAnne teased.
“Yeah, but I’m already late, it couldn’t hurt.” Kevin smiled.
“Did you really mean that?” Nick gasped from the doorway.
“What?”
“That being late couldn’t hurt?”
“No, it’s only in my case.” Kevin laughed when Nick pouted at his answer. They all sat down for lunch and the boys decided that they would bring their loves to meet the other guys.
“Hello?” Steph answered her phone.
“Hi, may I speak to Steph?”
“Speaking, who is this?”
“AJ McLean.” The caller replied.
“Hey, I didn’t think you would call.” Steph told him happily.
“I keep my promises, listen, are you busy this afternoon?”
“No, why?”
“I was wondering if you would like to meet the other guys?” AJ asked.
“Sure, when?”
“Around 2 or 3... I’ll pick you up.” AJ suggested.
“Sounds great.” Steph smiled. The two of them stayed on the phone for a little longer, making small talks, getting to know each other better and so on. Then AJ had to go to practice so they said their good-byes and hang up.
