"Hey baby." Brian, my boyfriend of 2 years said wrapping his arms around my waist.
"Hey sweetie." I replied wrapping my arms around his neck. I gave him a soft, quick kiss and took his hand leading him into the living room of my apartment.
"How was your day?" he asked sweetly pulling me onto his lap.
"It wasn't so great, but it's much better now that you're here." I smiled.
He leaned in and kissed me passionately.
"Ooh, Where did that come from?" I teased.
"Why do you ask?" he smiled.
"I don't know, I guess I like this side of you," I smiled.
"Well, in that case," he said pinning me down on the couch, and leaning in and kissing me again more passionately than before. We were soon heavily making out on the couch, and well you can guess what happened from there.
It was my day off, so I had decided to give Brian a surprise visit at the studio. I walked back to where he normally was, only to find him flirting with another girl. My heart about stopped as he leaned in and kissed her. He looked up to see me standing in the doorway. He could tell by the look on my face that I had seen everything. I could feel the tears welling up in my eyes, I turned around and ran as fast as I could.
"Dannii! Wait!" Brian called from behind me.
"No! I can't even look at you right now!" I yelled back at him.
I continued running as the tears were falling from my eyes. I accidentally bumped into someone and fell to the ground crying.
"Dannii?" the voice asked. "What's wrong? What happened?"
I looked up to see Brian's best friend, and one of my good friends as well, Nick. He helped me up off the floor.
"I-I have to go." I said still crying.
"First, tell me what's wrong," he softly demanded.
"I-I can't, I-I don't want to talk about it," I stammered.
"Come here," he said pulling me into a hug. I buried my face into his chest still crying.
"Shh…Don't cry," Nick said softly kissing the top of my head.
Moments later, I heard footsteps walking towards us.
"Danielle?" the voice asked softly.
"Brian, just leave me alone," I softly cried.
"But I love you, and I'm sorry, I don't know what I was thinking." He said apologetically.
"Brian, I think you should just leave her alone for now," Nick answered for me. I pulled away from Nick, and turned around to see a solemn look on Brian's face.
"I have to go, I'll call ya later Nick," I said shakily.
He nodded. I walked slowly out the door. I couldn't believe what had just happened in there. I was hurt deeply from what I had witnessed, I was angry at Brian for what he had done, and I was angry at myself. I stepped into my car and drove away.
"What the hell did you do to her!?" Nick asked as soon as I had left.
"I don't think that's any of your business!" Brian shouted.
"I think it is when one of my best friends runs into me and can't stop crying like that!" he shouted back.
"Just stay out of it!" Brian yelled walking away.
"No, now tell me what happened back there!" he demanded.
