"Why is she calling you?" Angela asked.
“I don’t know, she wanted to talk to me, at the apartment. I guess she still thinks that me and AJ are fighting.” Sarah replied as AJ put his arms around her waist.
“I’m going too. I need to talk to her.” Angela stated.
“Then I’m going too. I can’t leave you alone with her. Who knows what she’ll do?” Nick put his arms around her shoulders.
“No, I’m going alone, she doesn’t have to know I’m there. Right?” Angela glanced at Sarah.
“Leave it to us.” Sarah told the guys. “Cat fights aren’t pretty.”
“Be careful.” Kevin said then went back to check on the coffee. Suddenly, the room was back to the way it was before the phone call - fighting over food and protesting.
Angela and Sarah left the Nick’s house around one, they went back to the apartment, took showers and got dressed. The two girls talked as they both apologized for the things they did. Sarah was forgiven for setting Angela up and so was Angela for not listening to Sarah carefully when she asked for help and forgiveness. After making amends, Angela hid in the coat-hanging closet while Sarah sat in the living room, she watched the ending of Titanic, to make her eyes appeared red in order to give Marissa the impression that AJ had broke up with her. As soon as the doorbell rang, both of them tensed. Sarah took a deep breath as she opened the door. “Hello.” she said coldly.
“Hey, how’s everything with AJ?” Marissa chuckled as she noticed the still wet tears on Sarah’s face.
“Thanks to you, everything’s wonderful. So, what did you want to tell me? Another secret of my past to make AJ want to hire an assassin to kill me or just want to laugh at my face?” Sarah told her sarcastically.
“I’d go with the second one.” Marissa laughed. “I just needed to know if Nick’s still with that annoying bitch and I have a message that I want to give to her.”
“Why don’t you give it to me yourself?” Marissa was startled when Angela walked out the closet.
“What the hell is going on here?” Marissa yelled.
“Ever heard of the phrase ‘Payback’s a bitch’?” Sarah asked innocently.
“And it’s time for payback.” Angela said then punched Marissa right on the jaw. Sarah followed up and tripped Marissa as she stumbled backwards.
“Need a hand?” Sarah offered her hand to Marissa. When she grabbed it unconsciously, Sarah backhanded her, sending her back on the floor. “Wanna know why Nick’s still with you?” Marissa taunted, when she saw the confusion on Angela’s face. She smiled then yelled out. “Because you look so much like Michele!”
“Shut up!” Sarah ran over in an attempt to cover Marissa’s mouth before she could do anymore damage. But she missed her by a second as Marissa stood up, Sarah fell on her face. Marissa threw Angela a winning smile as she exited the house.
Helping Sarah back on her feet, Angela stared at her with a blank expression. “Who’s Michele?” she asked.
