"Hey, wait up!" 18 yr. old Michele yelled to her boyfriend for 5 years, Nick, as her silky black hair flew in the wind.
"I'll race you to the park!" Nick yelled back. They were having their usual bike picnic, they'd always have a picnic in the woods on the third weekend of every month, and this time was no exception.

"Well, you know that you mean a lot more to me than just a 'girlfriend'." Nick smiled.

"No!" Nick screamed out as the truck crushed Michele's bike, and Michele's helpless body flew though the air and landed 5 feet from Nick. "Michele?" Nick kneeled down next to her, took her into his arms, no answer. Nick checked her pulse, "Michele?" Nick whispered, couldn't believe that her pulse stopped. "Michele? Michele!" Nick keep calling her name, as if it might bring her back to life. He called 911 then began to perform CPR, but still nothing, not a breath, not a sound.
"How can this be? One second she was laughing, and now..." Nick's thoughts trailed off as he heard the ambulance approaching. "I love you, Michele, I'll never love again, I promise you, Michele, I promise." Nick's eyes became blank as he kissed Michele's cold and smooth forehead...
