My name is Kathryn Shannon, although my friends call me by one of several nicknames, including Kat, Kathy, and Fallenangel. (Long Story ~ don't ask. And No, it isn't what you're thinking! *grin*)
I'm 22 (born January 15, 1979), live in Michigan, have curly red hair and stand about 5'8". I'm currently enrolled at Delta College, although I want to switch to Central Michigan U. But I don't have a grant for tution there, and I'm not all that sure I would be accepted anyway. I have a dual major; my first major is Computer Science and Information Technology, Computer Information Systems division. My other major is Computer Programming, Specializing in Visual Basic. I've also wanted to be a Interior Decorator, Horse Trainer, professional Ballet dancer, and Clothing Designer. Most of these professions I would still like to do, but for various reasons have accepted the fact that I probably never will.
Currently, I'm working in a office for a car and truck accessory distributor (which means that we sell things like grill guards, sunroofs, etc. to auto parts stores and car dealerships, who then charge you out the nose for them! *grin*). I do general office duties, such as filing, creating reports, etc.
I like to ride (western trail riding, for those of you who are familier with horses) and work on my computer. I like to sing, write fantasy short stories and poetry. I write HTML, love designing webpages, and reading fantasy and some mild sci-fi and suspense. (Visit my Favorite Authors page!)
Right now I am working on my short story Storm Warning, a fantasy about a mage trying to complete a 'quest'; and I am co-authoring a book named Amalith Avenue, a modern soap opera. It follows the lives of about eight people in two apartment bulidings for a year, including a mother who isn't sure who the father of her baby is; the neighbor who dated the mother's 'prime canidate' and whom he wants back; the ex-girlfriend of the story-teller's bestfriend's boyfriend, who is currently dating (read: sleeping with) the 'prime canidate', among others.

Okay, on to my bragging: *grin* I'm a Mistic Watcher for Mistic Circle, (an on-going story mailing list), which just basicaly means that I'm Amin. I'm also used to be the Webmaster for their site, but turned it over to Adrienne because I simply don't have the time to update it anymore. I also belong to the I'm Not Bitter Club, which is dedicated to those of us who have had experiences with our 'Significant Others' that could have made us bitter. This tries to lighten the mood, and help you see that you aren't alone. We also think that it's rather fun! (Not only am I a member, I'm also the President! *grin*) My friend and I wrote the Male Jokes page after we searched the Net in vain. We found plenty of jokes about blondes and redheads, but none about men. (Men beware ~ it's meant in fun only, and not meant to offend!) Well, that's enough self-promotion for one day! *grin*
