Twilight Seeker

She appears before twilight seeking
Visions in a full Moon.
As the sun sets
Behind distant mountains
And darkness descends
Upon the
Wilderness,
Boundaries between
The world of Man
And the world of Nature
Become less clear-Then vanish.

She steps out
From the shadows
Bathed with blue misty
Moonlight.
A single feather
Knotted in her hair
Brushes gently
Against her cheek.
She raises her face
To the full Moon
Dark eyes reflecting the sky.

A hand-woven shawl
Draped over her shoulders
Dark hair flowing
Down the shawl
Elven-shaped features
Highlighted by moonlight.
A Wolf howls
In greeting
Of her dark-skinned beauty.
The howl imparts a message-
The Vision received, she departs.
