We were practising the dance routine in Heal but I gulped when it came to Mark’s bit near the end, he approached me and I looked up at his face. We were still dancing. I felt his hands placing onto my hips as he sang. My eyes fluttered as he stroked my left cheek. God, he sings like an angel and yes this is part of the routine – why meeeeeeeee?! As he finished his solo bit, his right hand drifted down to grab my left hand, he quickly spinned me and I soon met with Ash and the other girls and we finished looking at the guys. Plan was that there were two gangs. One was the guys and the other us girls. We dance with them like we’re finishing with them. Or something like that. We finished (finally) I needed to get a drink so I headed out of the room down the corridor to a water cooler. So I got some water in a plastic cup. I heard Lou’s voice behind me. “You’re gonna get it. Why don’t you stay the heck away from him? Remember no guy will ever like you because you’re a freak; not to mention ugly too.” “Get lost Lou. Threaten Em again, you will wish you never been born.” Scratch that, she heard everything. Note to you guys, she’s very protective of me. Just so you know. She signed to me asking if I was OK. I just nodded and we made our way back to the dancing room. Where my mobile phone started ringing. I screamed a little startled; I heard the others laughing at me. Cheek! Just wait, I’ll pay you back… “EMMAAAAAAAAA!!!!!” I cringed as I pulled my mobile away from my ear. It was my cousin Miriam. She’s also older than me. She’s aged 21. She has long brown hair with blonde highlights and has green eyes. She’s pretty tall and slim. I have a headache now. She’s a nutter to tell you. Even nuttier than Ashley. “Mir! Don’t scream like that! Don’t need to make me go deafer then I already am!” “Aw poor little cousin. What’s up?” I was about to tell her when I felt a pinch on my butt and I turned to see that it was Kian who did it. I smacked his head while the other guys practically rolled about laughing their heads off. I roll my eyes at them and told them I was on the phone to Miriam, my cousin. Suddenly Kian grabbed my phone; I spluttered as he said hello to Mir in his Irish voice. I knew right then she was going to scream; no wait she was already and he laughed softly in amusement. Next thing I know he hands it to the others! Last on the phone was Mark although he was nicer to her. “Hello. This is Mark. Nice to hear from you.” “OHMYGOD!!!!!!MARKILOVEYOU!!!!!” I cringed as I heard everything what Miriam said and I squeaked when I started hearing what she was suggesting to him and I grabbed the phone from Mark and I yelled down the phone thus shutting up Mir. “Jaysus Mir. Take a chill pill for once. Look, I gotta go OK? I’ll call you later about tonight. Okay?” |
