Kian and Emma walked inside the hospital and waited for the lift, a tall woman was standing there, tapping her foot. Emma turned her head to tell the woman to shut it before she was gonna deck her. However, she was stunned to see who it was. It was Lauren – Mark’s ex girlfriend. “Lauren?” Lauren turned her long dark hair and looked to see her ex’s best friend. She had heard that Shane was involved in the car accident. My god, Emma had certainly grown. She was jealous of her all those years ago when she had met her. She dumped Mark because she could tell that he had fell in love with Emma. She couldn’t deal with the lies that she was living – under the pretence of him loving her instead of Emma. It was good that she dumped Mark – she was married to a great guy for 6 months now. Lauren knew that Mark was meant to be with Emma. It was fate wasn’t it? “Hey Emma. Long time no see.” The girls chatted a little, Emma learned that Lauren was married and was expecting their first child by September this fall. She did like Lauren when she first met her – they had become friends. However, Lauren did get nasty with Emma after she found out Mark’s feelings. Emma heard her apology and brushed it off. The girls quickly exchanged phone numbers and promised to meet up once again. They separated as Lauren went to a maternity ward for her scan appointment while Emma and Kian arrived at their designated floor where Shane was – with Amber, having fun with a unexpected visitor. Emma walked into the room; she only had one foot in when Amber jumped off Shane’s bed, running into Emma’s arms, giggling. Boy was she having fun! Emma was pleased that Amber seemed to like Shay – it was important for Amber to have fun. Well, Shay wasn’t a boring person that was for sure. She remembered a certain someone being shoved under the showers while he was dressed. Kian and Shane had been in stitches when they told her. He was there at the wrong time at the wrong place. She heard someone clearing their throat across the room behind her. She didn’t notice them when she had walked in. She turned around and gasped softly. She couldn’t say a wo5rd. It was obvious who he saw in Amber. After all, she looked identical to him. If he didn’t know then, he just realised now. He must have thought that Amber was one of Emma’s nieces but he was proved wrong when he heard her calling the love of his life Mommy. It was Emma and then it hit him to Amber reminded him of. With a shocked realisation, he realised that Amber reminded him of himself. “Mark I….” Mark made his way over to Emma as she started to explain only to silence her by pressing his soft firm lips onto hers. She looked at him surprised as he pulled away. He didn’t her make any protests, not that he wanted her to. Emma was going to say something when he kissed her again. This time, he didn’t pull away. The kiss started slow and slowly builded up to passionate until they heard a very loud noise. “EEWWW MOMMY!!” Emma pulled away and her face flushed from embarrassment and laughed softly. She had been kissing Mark in front of Shay, Kian and amber. How embarrassing! Mark however led Emma out of the room, they needed to talk seriously. Kian and Shane understood and looked after Amber as her parents talked – catching up with one another. There were tears involved but the main emotions were happiness and love.
