When I originally posted this journal, it was for the very reason I mention farther down. Since then, I've come to 'write' in the journal less and less. It has also become less of a story, using alternate names, places, ,jobs, and various metaphors to skip around the reality, and more of the idea that this was my life unfolding, Below is the original introduction to the journal, and the reason it was called my "Vampire Journal".

"If you, or others you know, enjoy, participate in, or just watch from a afar the rising popularity of the vampire genre, then I have a recommendation. I do not know if its available at the libraries (I doubt it), but I know you should be able to find it at any major bookstore. It is called VAMPIRE DIARY: THE EMBRACE. Its written by Robert Weinberg, and Mark Rein-Hagen. It chronicles the "vampire" experience of a man named Austin in the nightclub scene of Los Angeles through his journal/diary. Within the pages of the dairy are intense written descriptions of his experience, printed even in "handwriting", and some very impressive sketches.

In any event, a friend of mine and I, in an attempt to make sense of our own personal lives, agreed some time ago to set upon the task of our own "vampire journals". My friend's was to be mostly a personal sounding board. Mine was to be structured very much like the afore mentioned book, but ended up as more of a metaphorical story of events and thought that I've come across in my life. I play with sketching, but for the time I will leave those out. Instead I've chosen to display as publicly as possibly the pieces of this journal. For those who know me, don't ask about anything. I say again, this serves more as a metaphoric reminder of my life, FOR ME. It wasn't originally to be read elsewhere, so don't ask me to explain. Just accept it as an interesting story of bits and pieces.

Why? Who cares! If you like it, great! If you don't, run away to someone else's crap."
