I had such a wonderful weekend.
After school on friday Christie and I did the photo project, which was lots of fun. We went all around town and found lots of beauty in the oddest of places. It was so fun to walk around with Christie, talking and joking. I was mostly the subject of her photos, but sometimes she let me take pictures of her. And we found a piano graveyard, which was frightening and exciting all at once.
Now at school, I always wish that I was doing a photo project with Christie.
On saturday, Lisa and I drove around and hung up Ani posters. It was so much fun too. We found all these "underground" places to hang them up. And we even found God's mailbox. I promise a picture is coming soon.
On saturday night, I got to babysit for Megan's cousins which was also a lot of fun. They are the most wonderful children in the world. They were precious and wonderful and I didn't mind baby-sitting at all, even though I was exhausted from walking around all day hanging up Ani posters.
On sunday I played Melody in A by Grieg at contest, which was very nerve-wracking. But I'm glad that I decide to play at piano contests, it gives me something to work for and I like to perform. I didn't play the piece as well as I could have, which was disappointing. I wanted to really get the mood to come out so the audience could feel the imagery with that song, but it was very difficult because of the keyboard, and my hands were so cold they were practically numb. But overall, that was fun too. I love my piano teacher!
It was just a good weekend. It's wonderful to be with people who really love you.
