Rejected Scums started out in Singapore in the year 2004.

The first line up for the band was Anwar on vocals, Ishaq on guitar, Man on bass and Daniel on drums. The band met each other through friends. They just wanted to have something to do to waste their time as they were bored and sick of doing the same old thing over and over again and just wanted to shout out to the people about what is really happening in this world from their point of view.

few months in the band Alif joined the band as their second vocals. From there, Rejected Scums became a five piece band. Just as everything was going smoothly and they were least expecting it, Anwar left the band with arguments for no particular reason. From then on Alif became their solo vocalist. After discussion Anwar came back to the band. Then after a few more months of progress, Ishaq disappeared and never returned.

Dino a guitarist from a local band called Two Face Bastard (TFB) volunteered himself as a temporary guitarist for Rejected Scums while they went looked for a new guitarist. Deciding that it would be too much of a hassle to find another guitarist, the band agreed on having Dino as their permanent guitarist for Rejected Scums. So Rejected Scums became known as a five piece band with Anwar and Alif on vocals, Dino on guitar, Man on bass and Daniel on drums.

A few months later, they released their debut CD “Street Survivors” comprising 12 original tracks. Alif later left the band as he said he could not make it in the band anymore. After one more performance Anwar left the band to further his studies. He was replaced by Thaib on guitar and Dino switched to vocals and guitar.

Currently Rejected Scums is a 4 piece band with Dino on vocals and guitar, Thaib on guitar, Man on bass and Daniel on Drums.
