DT2(SW/FMF) VAUGHT

Keith has been a dental tech in the Navy for 11 years now. He has served on the USS Eisenhower, Porthsmouth Naval Shipyard Dental Clinic, Camp Lejeune NC, and aboard the Austin while deployed during Operation Induring Freedom. He is currently at Quantico Marine Base .

Keith made rank shortly after we were stationed at Camp Lejeune. This is one of the captains removing his E4 rank during the frocking ceremony.

Here I am proudly pinning his new E5 rank on him!

One of the camps where they were doing a field exercise. He loves playing soldier!

This was taken aboard the USS Eisenhower on family day. We took my brother's family with us and spent the day out at sea. We got to see dolphins jumping, a submarine surface, and a live air show from the flight deck of the ship. It was very interesting but I can't imagine living on one for months at time.

This is my dad and Keith on the IKE. We took him aboard for a tour when he came to visit us in Newport News.

Taking it easy in the sand during the deployment.

Proud papa in his uniform with the apple of his eye!

Off to the military ball!
