Make Reading Fun! This workshop offers a detailed plan for family reading and book-sharing — using activities that make reading enjoyable for both adults and children. Handout masters and transparencies in Spanish are available; also two videos in English and one in Spanish. Show Parents How to Help Their Children Learn at Home This workshop provides a wealth of tutoring strategies and learning activities and games you can use to SHOW parents how to provide a learning environment for their children — at home, in the neighborhood, or in the car. Topics include reading, math, spelling, thinking skills, science, social studies, & writing. Internet resources are included in the manual.
