June 6, 2001 - Just thought I'd tell everyone that David Manning, the famous fake film critic, has joined our site. He'll be doing film reviews. Now, I think he is the worst reviewer ever, and, boy, does he ever have bad taste. But, see, David called me. He said, "Steve, I've been fired!! I don't know what I'll do! If I don't get a new job soon, I'll jump off a bridge!"

There are no bridges in David's town, but... I felt sorry for him, so, I hired him. (Without pay, of course.) He will be reviewing movies and tv shows he hasn't seen, because, we have no budget to buy him movie tickets. Heck, he reviewed movies he hadn't seen before, too, so why not do it now?

His first review at our site is of Pearl Harbor. Please don't hate it too much. And, please, even if you don't take him too seriously, take the rest of the site that way. --Steve, Editor-In-Chief

DAVID MANNING'S REVIEWS

June 6, 2001 - "Hi everyone! Dave (the D-Man) here! I will do a great job for Famous Boom! Some people are going to be really sorry they fired me!

"My first review is of Pearl Harbor. Now, I haven't seen it but... man, can you believe they made a movie this great! BETTER THAN "SAVING PRIVATE RYAN"!! (Note: that is a great quote for your newspaper ads.) Almost three hours based on planes dropping bombs on one spot. And the cast and director... wow, such talent! PEARL HARBOR ISN'T A BOMB!! (another great newspaper ad quote. I'm good at making them up.)" -- David Manning
