This year we took a short vacation to Cambria, CA:
Sunday, July 8, 2001--we left Porterville for Cambria, CA and Cambria Pines Lodge. We unpacked and settled in and brought dinner to our room from the Main Street Grill and food from the one of the two local stores--The Cookie Crock.
Monday, July 9, 2001--we spend the day shopping in Cambria and relaxing.
Tuesday, July 10, 2001--to the beach @ Cambria. Dinner at Linn's Restaurant.
Wednesday, July 11, 2001--we drove to Pismo Beach, rode a Surrey Bike at Beach Cycle Rentals 
and ate at McLintocks in Shell Beach.
Thursday, July 12, 2001--drove to Paso Robles and visited our chiropractor. Drove home via Santa Rosa Creek Road and ate dinner at the Main Street Grill.
Friday, July 13, 2001--we packed up our things and drove to San Simeon and a night at the Silver Surf Motel. We went to Hearst Castle and took tour #4, played @ the beach, ate dinner at El Chorlito in San Simeon.
Saturday, July 14, 2001--the last day! We packed our things, ate breakfast at the Carriage Restaurant. On our way home, we stopped at San Simeon State Beach and visited with friends from Porterville. Soon thereafter, we began the 148 mile journey home...Cambria, Paso Robles, Corcoran, Tipton and Porterville!
