Chapter Four And these are the moments, I know heaven must exist. And these are the moments, I know all I need is this, I have all I've waited for, And I could not ask for more. The next day, I didn't work until four, so I spent the morning reading and relaxing in my small apartment. I found myself drifting off to thoughts of the night before sporadically, but by the time I went to work, the previous events were far from my mind. Which is why I was surprised when I got to work to find a note waiting for me. ' Kelli...... I had to let you know how much our conversation meant to me. I'm going to stop by at nine before your shift ends in hopes of picking up where we left off. Ashley ' I have to admit, I was a little nervous to see him again. By nine-fifteen, I had forgotten about his visit. I was busy serving tables when he came in. He snuck up behind me at the till and his raspy "hey" made me jump. I felt my heart flutter as I turned around and saw him standing there. He looked so good, wearing a grey polo shirt and dark jeans. I lost myself in his eyes, and for a moment, I was entranced.
