JM: No need for an introduction..I know them (smiles at us) FOM: We want to appoligize if this interview sucks because we just found out a half an hour ago that we were gonna interview you. JM: (laughs) okay FOM: Okay..How's your life been going since the breakup of Dream Street? JM: It's um..been going alright. It was kinda upsetting at first, but things worked out and now I'm recording a solo album, so I moved on. It was definatly a great experience, but things are fine now. FOM: So are you comfortable performing in the same venue as Chris? JM: Oh yeah definatly. I support Chris in anything that he does,and I know... you know, he does the same. So it's not at all a big deal performing at the same venue as him. FOM: Do you like performing your solo stuff better than the songs you did with Dream Street? JM: I'm sorry? FOM: Do you like performing your solo stuff better than the songs you did with Dream Street? JM: It's not that I like it better, I think its, you know, two different styles. There's a boy band sound and then theres the solo sound. The solo..uh..it's not that I like one better...it's just two different styles. FOM: Now All your fans want to know if you are single. JM: If I'm what? FOM: Single. JM: (smiles) Yeah..I'm single. FOM: What is your favorite song to perform? JM: That I'm performing? FOM: Yeah. JM: I think one of mine, well..one of my favorites is my single "Beautiful Soul", and I like a couple others..uh I like "Sweet Time" and uh yeah alotta people haven't heard it yet. And I also like "CrushN"..but uh..I like 'em all. FOM: How many songs are you doing today? JM: I think four. FOM: Whats your favorite style of music to listen to? JM: My favorite style of music? Probably..you know...I like alot of everything. I listen to R&B, I listen to a little bit of Rap..I listen to pop. I like um Black Eyed Peas...I just got their album..and uh..they got some good songs. And Jason Mraz...he's a new artist. (Jaki interrupts) FOM: Oh I love him! JM: There's also a band out there called Maroon 5. (Jaki interrupts again) FOM: I love Maroon 5! haha FOM: We heard that "Summerland" might get picked up for mid season on the WB..are you excited? JM: Yeah well..it's still under a debate right now..they're not positive, but uh it's looking good. So thats like the latest word we've got. FOM: What's your favorite movie of the summer? JM: I think uh..Pirates of The Carribean. It's a good movie. FOM: I haven't seen it yet. JM: It's a good movie. FOM: After high school are you planning on going to college? JM: I am...actually I am planning on going to college..I plan on working ..and uh I plan on doing both. Cause I wanna study acting. FOM: What kind of grades did you get on your report card? JM: Alot better than freshman year..I really get A's and B's and a couple of C's FOM: I found that sophmore year was easier than freshman year. JM: It is. FOM: Alot of people found it harder, but I found it easier. FOM: Do you see yourself doing any duets with any other young pop stars in the future? JM: Uh..it's in discussion right now whether or not I'm gonna do a duet with Lindsay Pagano. Um that's still something we're talking about, but you know, I'd love to do it cause she's an awesome girl. FOM: And you did the Winter Party Tour with her. JM: Right..right..yeah. I'm not sure, but we're still talking about it. FOM: It would be cool..you and Lindsay. JM: Yeah. FOM: Do you read the messages in the forum on your site? JM: Yeah..yeah all the time. FOM: Was there any messages that you read..that you found to be embarassing? JM: There's always...there's always comments that uh..a few fans pick up on..that I think they see during the show..and it can be embarassing ,but yeah.. v FOM: Okay..last question. In three words describe each of your band members. JM: Each of my band members? Ahh this is a good one. They're true musicians..ah man...this is good. They're uh great people, you know, and they really know what... they're very intellegent, and I'm very happy with the band that I have behind me...so thank you. FOM: Thank you Jesse.
