Bitten by a radioactive spider, high school student Peter Parker found himself possessing the strength, speed, agility, and uncanny ‘spider sense’ of an arachnid. He attempted to gain fame and fortune as a costumed ‘Spider-Man’, until the fateful day when his uncle was murdered…a death he could have prevented.

On that day he learned a harsh lesson: that with great power must also come great responsibility. In that moment his costumed identity developed a greater meaning. Armed with wondrous web-shooters of his own design, the reluctant hero struggles with sinister super villains, making ends meet, and maintaining some semblance of a normal life.
