She groans and grumbles as the alarm clock goes off, right at five A.M. She looks outsid eand notices that it's still dark. "What kind of idiot would get up this early?!" she asks herself. "Oh, wait, I forgot, I'm on the OZ base. I'm surrounded by homocidal maniacs!" She huffs and groggily scoots out of bed, slipping into some bunny slippers that just showed up by her bed during the night, a school uniform also already layed out for her on the chair, and her bath essenntials ready in the bathroom. After bathing she dresses in the red and green plaid, pleated skirt and white sailor looking shirt, gagging intwardly at how Sailormoonish it looks. "ICK! Ew! I look like a Japanese schoolgirl!! Wait, where am I anyway?! Just where is this base located?" she walks to the window and takes a look outside, noting how a few things look different, as in the flowers, but aside form that, she's on a base in the middle of a beautiful forest. "Man, they must have cut down alot of trees to build this here. All that beauty ruined, for war. I wonder if that's what they'll do to my home... destroy it. Make room for another base, in America. It's really happenning," she said with a sigh, " The war to end all wars, only it wont really end all wars because of Marimaiah..." she laughed slightly at herself as she stares int he mirror, brushing her hair back and then tieing a ribbon about it, leaving the bow to the side and letting the strings hang down in her face. "Look at yourself Martha," she stared at herself in the mirror as she carefully applied a light coat of makeup, blushing slightly at the poutiness of her full pale, lipgloss coverd lips, "Babbling like an idiot while getting ready for school." She checks her hair and pulls down a few bangs, and then one strand of hair, curling it with the curling iron, she nods in approval of herself after finishing her makeup. "School with other children, a private school. This is a dream come true for you, dont waste it!!" A knock can be heard at the door, she smiles and heads over to it to answer it. "That must be Treize, or a personal escort. I hope I'm not breaking any rules of anything witht he make up, but, I dont want everyone thinking I'm a slob."
She heads to the door and opens it, Treize just stands there, staring at the beauty before him. "Good morning Mr. Khushrenada, I assume that it's time for school." Martha smiles politely, courtsying for him, looking quite like the little princess schoolgirl now.
"Oh, uh, yes, Lady McMillon. Might I say that you look stunning this morning. Simply beautiful. I feel very honnored to be able to lead such a magnificent lady such as yourself to school." He smiles and takes her hand, once again kissing the knuckles in a polite, gentlemanly gesture. "My dear Lady, I've bought you a little present from the store on base. It's not much, but, I hope you like it." He extends a medium sized box to her, like one that you'd get clothes in from JC Penny's.
She takes the box and slips the gold ribbons off of it, running her hands over the black silken texture of the box. She slides her hands around the sides for tape and finds none, so she lifts the top part off and finds an exquisite leather book bag, with a strap made of pure golden chains all linked together in three rows. "Trieze! Oh my! It's beautiful! N... No one's ever given me so much before, or anything so beautiful! Thank you so much!" Without thinking she hugs him tightly and kises his cheek, then backs away, blushing at what she'd just done. "Smooth as silk!" she thought, reffering to his skin. "So warm! Is he blushing?!" She looked up at him, and yes, she was right. It was true, Treize, was blushing!
He takes her hand gracefully and nods tot he door. "Shall we be leaving then, Lady McMillon?" And once again he gave that charming smile, which made her melt instantly. She noded, hoisting her book bag over her shoulder, her hand still in his, and begins to walk out of the room, letting him close the door behind them. |
