I walk along the city streets you used to walk along with me
[Kurama was all alone taking a walk after having a little lover's quarrel with his one and only, Botan]
And every step I take reminds me of just how we used to be
[He gazed at the sky, imagining how she used to come down from her oar just to see him]
Well how can I forget you girl
[He lowered his head thinking of when he will get a chance to see her again]
When there is always something there to remind me
[He decided to eat some ice cream, which is his and Botan's favorite snack, and it kinda makes him think of her]
Always something there to remind me
[As he took of his wallet, a picture of Botan fell to the ground. He picked it up and stared at her beautiful face. It makes Kurama miss her more]
As shadows fall I passed this small café where we would dance at night
[The sun was about to set and Kurama passed this certain restaurant where he often took Botan for dinner dates]
And I can't help recalling how it felt to kiss and hold you tight
[He remembered how he held Botan in his arms. He remembered first kiss that Botan gave him after their first dinner together]
Well how can I forget you girl
[With a sigh, Kurama continued his walk and went home]
When there is something there to remind me
[He lay on his bed, looking up the ceiling. He turned his head on the side where his table was. He decided to finish his assignments to keep his head away from her]
Always something there to remind me
[As he opened his drawer, he saw again another picture of Botan. He just can't seem to avoid her in his mind]
I was born to love you
[He already knew that he can't live without her, but he only wished for Botan to be thinking of him at the moment]
And I would never be free
[He closed his drawer and fell to his bed, he probably might go to sleep, expecting Botan to be there in his dreams]
You'll always be a part of me
[It's hard to admit, he really missed her even if he just saw her this morning, but the meeting was different from the rest. It's where Botan got a fight and broke up with him. She said that he is very famous among the girls and that he might get another one in place for her. Kurama told her that's he was too jealous about it. Botan didn't answer but just rode her oar away from him saying, "I'm over with you, Kurama, I don't want to see you again!"]
If you should find you missed the sweet and tender love we used to share
[It's almost been a month, but still Botan hasn't returned. Kurama was about to give up waiting for her but still kept a picture of her in his heart]
Just go back to the places where we used to go and I'll be there
[He went to the park where he confessed his love for her. He remembered how Botan earnestly accepted him, throwing herself to him. He caught a glance of a bench at one side of the park]
Well how can I forget you girl
[He walked towards it and to his surprise, saw Botan. She turned her head towards him. They stared at each other. Kurama smiled. Botan looked at him. She ran towards him and cried]
When there is always something there to remind me
[Kurama comforted her in his arms. He apologized to her, but Botan just shook her head and smiled at him. She said that it was all her fault]
Always something there to remind me
[Kurama wiped her tears away and smiled. Botan smiled back at him, enough to make Kurama's heart soar]
I was born to love you
[Kurama took Botan's hand and sat beside her in the bench]
And I will never be free
[Botan leaned her head on Kurama's shoulder. Kurama smiled inwardly and glanced at Botan at the corner of his eyes]
You'll always be a part of me
[He turned to face her. Botan stared at him,and to her surprise, Kurama held her in his arms and kissed her. Botan closed her eyes and answered Kurama's kiss]
Always something there to remind me, always something there to remind me, always something there to remind me
[Botan held Kurama's arms and exhaled contently. She leaned over Kurama and closed her eyes. Kurama looked at her, smiled and watch the sun set before them]
