Fox and John's Egg-cellent adventure
Fox and John felt Walter's warmth leave the bed, both looked at the clock
and decided they would not follow him.
Sunday. The one day they could all three be fairly certain that, barring
a major crisis, they would have the day together. Certainly, barring a
major crisis, there was no way they would get up at six.
Walter reached the door, turned back and looked at his two sleepy lovers.
'Do not leave this room until I come and get you.'
Two voices murmured drowsy assent and Walter left them snoozing.
Walter sat on the edge of the bed, lifted the edge of the bedclothes and
gently stroked the exposed legs of his two lovers until they woke and
focussed on him.
'Good morning. Today, you both get a treat. But it has to be earned. To
do that, we're gonna play a game. Here are the rules. I have hidden eight
pieces of card. There are four for each of you. Fox, yours are in the
sitting room. John, yours are in the kitchen. When you've found all four
of your own, you may help the other person look for theirs. Any
questions?'
Two bemused heads shook. 'I'm going to have a bath. When you both have
all four, come and tell me.'
Bored after about ten minutes, Fox wandered into the kitchen. 'This isn't
very Easter bunny and chocolate egg John.'
John nodded his agreement. 'I looked really hard and I've only found two.
K and I.'
Fox looked at his. 'Me too. 'A and S.'
'Saki?' John suggested.
Fox pouted. 'It's Easter.'
John smiled. 'I'm sure there's a point to all this. Go see if you can
find the other two.'
The two men walked up the stairs just as Walter was pulling on a t-shirt.
'What took you so long? Did you stop for break...'
'I don't understand.' Fox interrupted.
'John, what do your letters spell?'
John rearranged the pieces of card he held until he came up with a
recognisable word. 'K-I-N-G.'
Fox?'
Fox did the same. His was harder, with several combinations. 'S-P-A-N?'
He asked doubtfully.
Walter nodded. 'Yeah. So?' Walter waited while Fox, then John, worked it
out.
'Spanking?!' Fox spluttered.
'You're gonna spank us?' John looked at Walter, hoping there was a
mistake.
Walter said nothing, simply smiling benignly at both his lovers.
'But it's Easter Walter. Fluffy bunnies, chocolate...'
Walter interrupted Fox's protests with a finger on his lover's lips. He
walked over to a carrier bag leant up against the nightstand. He pulled
out two boxes, handing one to Fox and the other to John.
Fox opened the box carefully, as if afraid the contents might be less
than pleasant. He was surprised at the cellophane-wrapped chocolate egg
inside. Which appeared identical to the one in the box John opened.
Fox wasted no time in cracking the egg open. Expecting more chocolate, he
tore the tissue paper off the small box inside. Frowning, he read the
label. 'Aloe lotion. Soothes sore skin.'
He looked at John who was equally bemused by his own chocolate-encased
'gift'. 'Hand cream for hard-working hands. Walter what is this..?'
John's voice tailed off and Fox's eyes followed John's.
Walter lay on the bed, a pillow under his stomach slightly lifting his
butt. While he waited for his two lovers to work it out, Walter said
softly: 'Happy Easter.'
