Orlando realised that he wanted to be a actor at a very young age, "When I realised superman was an actor I thought, that's the job for me mate!"

> He was a sweet guy actually I'll rephrase that, he IS a sweet guy and when he was in primary school he used to have sweet fantasies "There was a girl in my class whom all the guys had a crush on. We used to run races in the plaground at lunchtime to see who would be her boyfriend for the day ! Always loved watching superman on television and I used to fantasize that I could just fly in, pick up the girl and zoom of again!"

At the age of sixteen Orlando packed his bags and travelled to London to persue a career in acting , while in London he studied at the London National Youth Theatre, where he won a schorship to study at British American Drama Academy. He appeared in a number of televisions shows like "Casualty" and "Midsommer Murders". He also appeared in the critically acclaimed film Whilde where he was spotted by a agent.

After his appearence in the film he was offered various film roles but he turned them all down in order to attend the Guildhall School Of Drama where other famous actors have spawned from such as Ewan Mcgregor and Joseph Fiennes.

A year before Orlando recieved the film role in LOTR he was tragically invoved in a accident that left him contemplating whether or not he was going to spend his life in a wheelchair but luckily after an operation it enabled him to walk out of the hospital twelve days later. He is known as accident prone after breaking his ribs, his nose, both his legs, an arm, a wrist, a toe and cracked his skull three times but he still looks good don't you think? hehe

A year later he auditioned for the role of Faramir in LOTR but lost out to another actor and was put in for the role of Legolas instead and thank god cause I would have never discovers the little hottie. So Orlando dedicated himself to LOTR for 18 months in the intense filming of the film. In the role of Legolas he managed to capture the hearts of many young girls and so he should have!

If you really can't wait to see him you could probably check him out in a few films either coming out this year or early next year and you could catch him on a certain Gap advert, all you need to do is record the advert and watch it over and over agian, hehe. OH YEAH OF COURSE YOU COULD CATCH HIM ON THE NEXT INSTALLMENT OF LORD OF THE RINGS - TWO TOWERS! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
