Bronco Bowl, Dallas, Texas,

8th March 2002

First the set-list:

New Rose
Song.Com
Wait For The Blackout
Love Song
Amen
Democracy?
I Fall
Neverland (absolutely amazing solo by Sensible in this 1)
Neat Neat Neat
Smash It Up (Part 2 only)

The Damned seemed a lot less restricted and less nervous on the second night only with the new line-up. Both Captain and Vanian were fabulous, giving back to the crowd between the songs. Pinch also took a much disgusted spit at them at one point. Captain got hit with a flying object just above the left eye, which left a mark. They're all still at good spirits, but do whatever you can to show up to these gigs with your friends, etc. and support them as much and as LOUDLY as you can.

Everybody seems to agree that one of the main problems with the Zombie fans is that they're into this one dimensional beat with the bass-drum hitting 'em in the forehead at all times. And it shows... One of the Damned's strengths is the versatility of the songs, you have the quiet bits and the explosions, but this doesn't sit well with the lobotomized crowdsters, who want to be spoon fed the same beat for 90 minutes.
