The venue's capacity was 3,300 and it was sold out.

I'll be doing Dallas tonite and possibly Corpus Christi. Perhaps we can have somebody report on the set list for every show? The Damned have some 22 songs to pick from and they've promised to mix it about a bit. It'll be interesting to see how it develops... To anybody going, make sure you get there early! On this tour the Damned goes on between 7 and 8pm every nite!

The show was short, but ABSOLUTELY FAAAAAAANTASTIC!!! Even sans Patricia, they put on an extraordinary show, in my humble opinion. This was only my third time to see them, but I think it was the best I've ever heard them play live.

The Rob Zombie crowd was, unfortunately, NOT kind, as I'd hoped they might be (probably wouldn't have a guy like him around if not for bands like this in the early days, you know!). I was hoping they'd shut up and learn something about music, but at least there's one "convert" My friend had never heard them either, but left a fan - especially of the Captain - she wants him bad

I was really, REALLY surprised and thrilled to hear "I Fall" - talk about going back to your roots! I suppose it's a good thing that some of their music is short and fast so they could fit a great set into 35 minutes. I'm suspecting that it was the same as what happened to P.J. Harvey when she opened for U2 a few months back. The ex-husband went - paid almost $80 or more for tickets, mainly to see her - and U2 insisted on a specific amount of time for their set, and she got cut down to about 35 minutes as well.

SO, all my ramblings aside (Highgate Vampyre - Henrik beat me to the set list), it was an in-@#%$-credible show, even though it was short, and a hats-off, bow, curtsy, etc. to THE DAMNED - the greatest band ever - for coming along to visit us here in the city of Houston, and for putting me on the guest list, because I would have been totally screwed had they not. My world has been officially rocked...
