Cuban Knights, Macclesfield

What can I say. I thought Blackburn was the best sound I ever heard by The Damned live but last night in my hometown proved me wrong. They just keep improving as they go along, top marks to the band.
They had this dishy young lady open for them and although I was slumped against a wall feeling very full of Stella Artois she sounded ok.
The Damned hit the stage and I found all this new energy I thought had disappeared an hour before hand. Street of Dreams started and they played it spot on it was fantastic. They went into Nasty and made a fine job of that one too.
I cant remember the running order of the songs coz I used all my notepaper on dishing out my excellent website address to complete strangers.
Highlight for me was meeting all the boarders before hand in Wetherspoons and having a laugh. Another highlight was when I fall came on and me, not usually associated with moshing, got over excited and started bouncing up and down and playing air guitar to the crowd behind me. As they sang the chorus Dave went "I fall" and I did just that, I fell but all credit to the crowd I was on my feet before I realised I fell but some halfwit decided my ribs needed kicking on the way up.
These performances are totally knockout and here's hoping that some media bigwigs will realise soon that this band need more exposure and maybe see them on television for an hour and a half doing what they do best.
Fantastic work. Thanks to the Vanians, Captain, Monty & Pinch
Cheers
