The crowd had it's share of a-holes, but there was still plenty of cheering between songs.

Captain: "About 90% of you I'd like to buy a drink. The other 10% I'd like to kick your fuckin' ass!!"

I shared this sentiment. There were lots of people in the crowd that were disgusted with the Zombie fans' behaviour, though. I had several people come up to me & say things like "Fuck those assholes! The Damned fucking rule!!!"

Got to rap with Pinch, Monty & The Captain afterwards and they said this was the best crowd yet. Struck me as sad, but these gents are true performers. The show must (and did) go on, albeit in very short fashion, and the boys didn't let on for a second that it bothered them.

I must say that Rob Zombie should have chastised the crowd, but I think he knows his fans are ignorant, and that it would've done no good. There was a time in the last 10 years that the metal crowd seemed to be opening their minds. Arena rock seemed to be dying itself, in favor of smaller shows.

Well, it's back. In force. The show was sold-out. The Damned may has well have been opening for Ted Nugent, in 1978. I hope they don't get too discouraged. I want to see them tour on their own soon, or on a double bill with someone cool, like TSOL. Rose, from the Phantom Chords was there, and she hinted at a possible PCs tour soon.

Warren did a great job, but he's no Patricia. We missed her a lot, but I am also glad that she is not being subjected to these crowds. Monty whispered to Kitty that "Patricia wouldn't have stood for this." ...I hope things brighten up for her soon, and that they can all come back in proper style before too long.

My girlfriend regretted not stopping somewhere on the way to pick up a rose to throw at Dave. It would've been a nice contrast to the rest of the crap being thrown. She wants to add something...
