The Met Cafe, Providence RI

Entered the "Met Cafe" in Povidence to find just a few people in an emply storefront with CBGBs ambience.

First band, Midnight Creeps, were two Nancy/Courtney wild childs with two guys on bass and drums! Just so 1975, and their friends went wild. Then the room really filled up!

And we were treated to another excellent Dickies comedy punk extravaganza!

Then my MB friends really showed! We all collected at the front of the tiny (intimate atmosphere) stage. And waited...

Let the games begin! They played virtually every song ever recorded! Best HOTW ever!

It really felt like a private gig (wonder if anyone showed at New Haven!) Just for those of us (and local fans) willing to travel for the last non-fiendfest gig of this tour!

The moshing, the dancing, the lack of AC, the cigarette smoky-ness! But, hours of Damned Satisfaction! And then the MBers got to meet and great!

It was a truly a memorable night! And we got to [delete if inappropriate] see lots of Damned bums! And I don't mean hobos!

And everyone was a doll (just missed meeting DV and Patricia, as I was enthralled with PK's drumming prowess!)

After that, it's all a blur of joy!
